Two Rivers Ruidoso River Park

We liked the short walk by the river. Google says there are fairys along the way as an attraction for children but we did not see any. They were apparently taken down for the year or maybe because of the VIRUS! This is the reason for only 4 stars. Decent place.

The park was not bad at all. It was small in size, but a really easy walk. The area surrounding was really beautiful. We were disappointed since the fairies were not in the park at the time. That was okay though. Definitely would recommend, especially with fall arriving soon.

Very relaxing park, the walk way is very wide and clean good for disable and handicap, the river water is clear.

Great location to enjoy the outdoors, have a picnic, and see some natural water. We enjoyed seeing some deer during this trip. I highly recommend this park to anyone wanting a cost efficient spot to enjoy.

Not a long trail but its perfect for a nice morning or afternoon walk. Its also a good place to take the kids to enjoy a little bit of nature. Theres picnic tables scattered throughout, as well as port-a-potees. The park does close in the evening, dogs have to be on a leash, you can play on the water (not really a river, more like a stream/creek) but its chilly and the rocks slippery so be careful. Nice place to bird watch if thats something youre into.

Stop by and sit down by the river and let the peaceful sound of the river relax you. Then take a quick hike up the mountain behind the park. Great views

Short little trail in the middle of town. Would be good for kids. Doesnt really indicate where the trail ends. Runs along a creek so it has a few pretty spots, but its also in a neighborhood so be cautious of cars.

Nice little walk for the kids and dogs. Not to long but wondering to watch the stream.

We had an Awesome time there. Had a nice lunch. Took my dog down.to the water. She loved it. People were nice. Hope we can go back soon.

This is a very fun little walking park! Well maintained with excellent benches and pavilions. My kids loved the fairy seek and find. The river is refreshing and easily accessible.

We had so much fun stopping here for a quick break from traveling. We picked up food and had a picnic with the dogs then walked the path and played in the water. Its a beautiful area!

It was a rather nice easy walking trail. With the small river it was really calming.

There was a beautiful afternoon mountain drizzle. Ive been going there to relax for more years than I want to admit. A Beautiful place to hike, picnic, and let the children play.

Very beautiful, a nice place to take the family and have a picnic . My kids enjoyed it very much!! There is a lake you can play in, a playground, pony rides, and a beautiful view to take a stroll. There are plenty of places to sit, we really enjoyed ourselves!

Beautiful,perfect weather although the small towns like croudcroft... werent practicing social distancing at all,I refused d to eat because no masks or gloves.

So much fun, beautiful sights to see. Our guide JR was the best!

Always an enjoyable place to take a little stroll.There is a playground with sand in area. There are also separate restrooms for males and females. The restrooms are not very clean, but at least there is public restrooms.There are also picnic tables for those that want to enjoy outdoor lunch.There are a couple of benches to take a little rest and enjoy the view.You will also see 3 different little bridges. Very nice place to take a picture for memories.

Great lake in Ruidoso, its pretty big and has alot of pine trees for shade. Youre able to swim and kayak.

Nice place to get out of the heat, especially with curious kids. Very low traffic area on weekdays. That said, its not super exciting.

The area was clean and the water was cold and freshing. Its beautiful and the changing of the leaves were awe inspiring.

Excellent place to visit for an early morning walk. The calmness of the river water flowing and the silence of the trees just calms the mind.

Needed a break from driving, it was nice & relaxing.

Walking through the trail, it was well maintained with minimal trash scattered through the trail. Finding faires was fun. You need to go to the bathroom beforehand as there isnt anywhere to go to the bathroom.

Nice park. There are tables for picnic . Kids can play in the river (during summer) or walk, run, stroll with pets along the short trail.

I came to this area for Fourth of July to have a good time and exactly that happened. Its a very good place to just relax and talk with family and friends. It is relaxing and calming with all the trees and the small water stream. Also, there was fireworks that were set off close by so I got to enjoy that from this location. I recommend it especially for fourth of July if you don’t know where to go and need a place to just relax.

We had a great time using the map for the Fairy Trail. The kids loved the search for each fairy and troll.

I loved it! It was clean quiet and beautiful and safe for the children! I cant wait to go back!

It is a very well kept park. There was hardly any trash in or around the park. The parking lot was well kept and the asphalt was well kept and stripes painted and signs hung in neccessary areas.

Great view, breezy, quiet. Wonderful family place to enjoy nature. Clear walking trails are great for dog walks and holding hands.

Nice little park for the kids to splash in the stream and hike a little and they also have a little playground. Some tables as well for a little picnic just no grilling allowed.

Behind the Ruidoso Chamber of Commerce, beautiful walking trail, playground, restrooms, scavenger hunt along path, pavilions, picnic tables and a few benches along the path.

The creek is beautiful and you can wade in. There are pony rides, playground, trails and picnic tables. Lots of trees.

The trails were nice and kept up with the rivers were clean and the trail has a nice little scavenger hunt for people to do while youre there.

Such a pretty short morning hike to take the little ones on. You get to cross 2 bridges and enjoy the sound of the river as your walking a paved path.
