Not too many people when went which we assumed was great for us. However, when we were seated, we were never acknowledged. We sat for at least 30 minutes before we gave up and left. Horrible service. Definitely never visiting this establishment again.

This place was pretty empty when I got to go. Which is awesome! The DJ was very open to playing what we wanted, drink were good and the pool table was an awesome addition to the atmosphere. Great time for any occasion including celebrating a friends birthday.

Do not waste your time. I can’t speak to food or drinks because my wife and I sat in a booth for 40 minutes without any acknowledgement... that isn’t completely true, the guy working the door did give us a menu and we flagged him down after 30 mins and he said that he would get us a server. We gave it another 10 minutes and then gave up.

Bad customer service waited 15min just for 2 drinks from walking in the door the guy at the door was rude. Was just plane out werid and creppy environment.

Never got to experience the place as they were closed when we got there around 9pm. Update your hours please! We were out celebrating our anniversary and had to call it a night early because their hours were wrong. Such a bummer.

Walked in at around 7:30, place was dead. Our group was rather weary from a long days ride, and looking forward to some chow and suds.I had to go to the hostess station and just take menus. After waiting for 20 minutes with no service we got up and left.

Worst service EVER!! We waited over 20 min just for a waitress to take our order and another 20 to get ONLY the round of drinks we had. We didn’t even want to order more after the wait. So we waiter another 15 min to get the waitress to come back with our receipt. ANDDDDD THE DRINK WERE WAYYY OVER PRICED

I gave one star for the bartender who seemed to be the only one working and was running around taking care of everyone. (She deserves more stars than one, but this review is for what we ordered.)We ordered the nachos and they were so gross. Chips, hamburger meat, canned cheese and so much beans that looked like that were just scooped out of the can. The chips were submerged in the thick liquid from the bean can. They charge $3.00 for the small cup of margarita mix and $3.75 for the shot of Tequila that went in it. Wont be going back.

Got a table quickly, table was dirty and so was the spray bootle the guy used never got waited on so we left and went on down the road

One of the only places open on Christmas day and our waitress was visibly busy. She still provided excellent service and made our visit enjoyable. The burgers and cheese fries were great

I asked the bar tender if i order my drink at the bar or wait for someone to come to the table and she replied with you can go outside and wait your turn like everyone else. Im not from around here and i understand with COVID things are strange. However i didnt deserve the disrespect that was displayed at that bar.

We went twice during our visit there. Once during the day and got some really big wings. They had a lot of meat to them and we were really impressed. Also had the pretzel bites. They were good solid soft pretzels with cheese. Servers was great. Beer was cold and a great choice of a local ipa. Went back at night. Switched to more of a bar vibe. Was cool. They stop serving food at nine. There was live music which was pretty good. Between the band and DJ played a mix of rock, Spanish, a few country, and some 90/early 2000 hits. Seemed like the just played whatever every one was vibing. Definitely a cool place to check out while you are in town plus its one of the only places open past eight.

Just an fwi for tourists - they will take advantage if you. (blame it on new businesses around the area - ha!) but theyre just trying to make a quick buck.

We were with a small group of two families on 9-FEB-2020, ours had the Spaghetti, French Dip and Cat Fish. The Spaghetti was small for the price, but my son liked it. the Catfish was overcooked and some how still came out tasting fishy, my guess was they were trying to hid the age with doneness, the vegetables that came with it were corn and green beans mixed together and did not taste right either, oh and they were out of tarter sauce too so the fish did not get more than one bite anyway. The French dip was OK but for the price it was smaller than Arbys but the bread was better than Arbys bread so that was a little win. They were having a benefit for a lady with stage four and on the way out a woman at the table with the donation jar cat called use and said your not going to donate. I said I had no cash and that was the last stray for this place. All and all I would not go back.

Service was nice but the food was horribleIf there was a 0 star review I would use it because this place specializes in burgers and they tasted like germ-x and the cheese fries with extra bacon had barely any bacon and all of the good food was gone.And the menu was pretty bare for a restaurant.

Awsome the food & the servers everything was on point

Come here often for mountain oysters. Now they give you half as much for the same price. Too many kids in the daytime. Used to be a nice place to hang out and have a beer. Too many tourists. Too many kids. Not enough mountain oysters.

If i could give ZERO stars i would, these ugly girls are rude & have no customer service skills .The place was dead with no customers, should have known, Its obvious they cant handle being a waitress.

I would give this place no stars if I could my husband went there with some friends and was treated so bad by the workers he was asked to leave when he didn’t even do anything wrong just tried to ask for owner to call him cause he noticed roof was leaking and he’s a roofer my husband is African American and they were very rude disrespectful and literally made him leave for no reason sounds like a race thing if you ask me I’m sorry mr owner if your reading this I suggest you hire people who actually know what customer service is and how to apply it after all a bar requires good customer service your paying people to be aholes not good for your business sir

When we showed up, we were greeted outside the door by the bartender to welcome us. When we chose our seats at the bar our drink order was already prepared. The beer was colder than my ice chest beer at home! The food was made to order and fresh and hot. The bartender Fabian created an at home experience for us and made sure our drink was never half empty. The two owner came and greeted us and thanked us for our business...

I dont understand the bad reviews on here I think the food is awesome they could use a little more help in the kitchen so the wait time isnt as long but other than that great place

Been here a few times now and I usually always enjoy it. Service can be a bit on the slow side but the servers are always nice and the food is good. The drinks are great!

This place is laughable. No music, the least lively place we’ve been on our trip. My husband ordered some garlic hot wings and they literally dumped raw garlic on his wings, he didn’t even eat one. We had 2 beers 2 shots and some soup cause we sent the wings back, somehow the total came out to over 40$ and I’m sorry but that just doesn’t add up. If we had good food we’d be happy to pay that price but we left feeling very ripped off. The bartender seemed sweet but lazy.

I went on a road trip with my grandmother to Ruidoso, and we stopped here to grab a bite to eat and a quick beer...well while waiting for our food this older man in a navy blue vest is trying to step on a baby mouse YES a baby mouse then he kills it with the legs of an empty table and leave the mouse halfway sticking out and just walks away he saw me look at him after he killed it and just walked away...absolutely nasty

Terrible waitress, seemed like she only cared about tables who were drinking, and she knew she was already getting gratuity from our table. She brought food we didnt order and still wanted us to pay for food we ordered but never received. She brought 4 waters to a table of 10 and never took any other drink orders.

Great food, especially the Patty Melt (add the hatch chiles for sure). Good beer selection. Friendly service, unhurried but the wait is worth it.

They’re really mean to us it’s like the 3rd or 2nd time we go and no one takes our order we’ve had to leave

It was awful, we came in a group of 10 all 21+ and asked if we could sit or we would be sitted, the waitress look at us and pointed a table of 6. The place wasnt even full, she was on her 50s blonde. Not recommended, theres a whole lot of places to choose from.

This place doesn’t want customers. The employees are happy to sit in an empty bar and collect a pay check. It’s called “quarters” but the games aren’t on, the bar tenders are eating dominoes pizza in the back, and nobody gives a care about customers who come in to watch the game. Avoid it.

Stopped in for lunch while visiting Ruidoso. Nice place. Good food. Service was ok. Tv’s are cheap these days. Might think about replacing the old tv’s with flat screens.

Slow service, sad looking food, way overpriced, and food came out at all different times. Even something as simple as a Coke didn’t taste right. The place was empty during the noon lunch hour. Some people never got their orders and some people got double orders. Worst restaurant I’ve been to in many years. The place seems like it’s on the verge of closing and having a clearance sale on food.

Take cash... servers added an extra tip on the card after I had checked my bank... check ur receipts and statements folks!

Never again a few of us stopped to have a quick drink and some food ..... We never got service one person came after 25 min n we were only able to get water. These girls really need to learn how to treat there guests!

After dining in with a party of 11. Manger made comment that we left the table a disaster and then calls us pigs. However, our server didnt have a problem with it and provide great service. No way to treat your customer.

Horrible. Walked in with a large group. Immediately told at the door that the wait was going to be 45 min. we decided to sit down anyways. And then the waitress said it would be 1:30 hours for food and basically said we’d be waiting forever. It was clear they didn’t want our business. I usually try to go there when I’m in town. I will never go back there again.

1 star is not an appropriate rating negative stars is more appropriate. Went to bar took a bit for to get served even though 3 bar tenders were right there. I will say my friend made a comment if we could be served. They asked for ID one friend didnt have it. Our husbands then met us outside since we left and went into bar, they got served right away and no ID needed. We came in and we asked why they served them? She said because she could choose to ask or not. My friend stated she was not a nice lady and she kicked everyone out. We just wanted to have a nice time away from our kids for a bit, it is too bad. I will say go to the Rio Grande Grill they were very cool!

Bartender was extremely helpful and polite. Pulled up a chair to help go over menu. Gave great food recommendations and loved it. Beer on tap was fresh and cold.

Disgusting food!I would have known it when I was in the restrooms... Very dirty and grubby!We ordered burger and hand cut fries.The meat of the burger was dry and incinerated, the fries were slack and tasted like they were from yesterday!The service was okay.

Big open nightclub, had a very nice ambience to it. The dj is bringing it down a star. He needs to read the crowd. Pool tables, and decent sized bar. We had fun.

The place looks cool, theres a bar and a pool table however, theres no sign if you have to wait to be seated or seat yourself. So i sat myself but never got a server or anything. So i left and went to the pizza place next door, bad mistake

Completely changed the menu. All the favorite dishes are gone. Bring back the fried mushrooms and zucchini. Service was great.

Sub-par food and bad service, waitress added 2 people to our ticket to charge an extra 18% and an extra 2 meals after messing up our orders and bringing cold food. When it was brought to her attention she pretended it was a mistake. Being a server myself, I know the systems are not that easy to mess up on. Either train your servers better or dont encourage theft. If you go here, double check receipts!!!

Worst margaritas in town. Oh gosh it was gross and over priced... The music was insanely yuck. No dance music just sad heavy metal. Thanks but no thanks. Now I see why its so dead there.

Sent order back 3 times because it was wrong every time. Charged my card 3x’s the amount the original ticket that was brought out to me. Horrible management horrible staff.

Worst experience I have ever had. We were seated and walked around for 10 minutes not even giving us menus or taking our drink orders. This would be okay if they place was busy, but it wasnt we were one of the only tables in the place. We finally got our drinks and ordered our food. Some of which came out wrong and others didnt even come out at all. We asked for plates and silverware several times and told our waitress that we didnt get the right food and that we were missing some food. She walked around ignoring us as her child and significant other were taking up majority of her attention. She finally got somebody else to help us. The next waitress was rude and hateful as if we were in the wrong for asking for what we ordered. Again we asked for plates, silverware, and refills for our drinks. She ran around ignoring us for the next 10 minutes. We finally had to go get the manager who we found equally as rude and unhelpful as the other. We finally got all of our food and ticket and left. Dont recommend this place for anybody. Ruined the end of our perfect vacation.

This place has horrible customer service. My husband ordered the $25 ribeye and I ordered the trout. Both meals come with salad, vegetables and a baked potato. The waiter delivered our meals and when asked where the sides were she stated they were out if salad and vegetables. I told her she should have informed us that they could not prepare the described meal so that we could have ordered something else, she got upset and said the chef should have told us. I asked for the manager and was told there wasnt one available. Maybe the manager is just as incompetent leaving this business to be run by such a horrible staff. Dont waste your time coming to this establishment there many other restaurants nearby that offer great customer service.

Service was horrible. Literally took 30 min for someone to help us out. And even then i had ro go ask them to help us. We had been walking around all day and just wanted food and a drink. Then the waitress was in a very crappy mood like she didnt want to help us out. Looks like a cool bar but horrible service.

This is the worst restaurant experience Ive ever had. The waitress was so rude. She didnt bring any drinks for us and didnt even notice. There is way too much to type to bring clarity to how bad this place truly is. Please dont waste your money.

The staff were extremely rude. The white ball for my table was missing and the staff would not give us another one even thohgh we had paid to use the table. They randomly decided to close early and started shouting at people to get out and would not let us finish the game. They were literally pushing people out the door, and taking drinks out of peoples hands as they screamed at everyone to get out 40 minutes before the bar was supposed to close.

If I could score this negative stars I would! I just went in to get some appetizers and drinks, we got our appetizers literally 30 minutes before our drinks came! We asked for some water even so we could eat and it took 20 minutes to get them. Then when our drinks finally did come, they were WRONG!! We sat here for 2 hours just trying to get our food, then drinks and then to tab out it took a good 30 minutes. I could count the people in here, it wasnt busy at all, there is just no excuse! I will NEVER come back! I suggest you dont either!

Nice staff. Chicken fried steak sandwich was delicious and was reasonably priced for the amount of food you recieved. (Which was almost to much to finish)

They Take forever to serve you.

Disgusting!! We were iffy on the service, the two younger girls at the front dont talk, smile greet people, nothing. Theyre surly and of zero help. Food took *forever* to get to the table, and when it did the nachos we ordered looked 3 days old, and we couldnt taste anything but salt. Sent them back, and a server, or maybe manager took the plate and PUT IT ON ANOTHER TABLE. That violates so many health rules, its nauseating. DO NOT EAT HERE.

Drinks are decent, but this place was trying to hard to be a nightclub and not a dive bar. Very strange arrangement. Also I have never been to a bar where i had to go through a metal detector and get wanded.

Came for lunch, and was seated. We place our order and we then waited for about an hour for it, while the table that was seated about 20 minutes after us got their food before us. When. We did get our food, my boyfriends fries were cold where as my fajitas were barely warm. They seemed like they were severely understaffed for spring break or they were just slow in general.

We showed up on the night of a UFC fight. It was one of the only places open in town. Got there a little before 9:00 p.m., and were told they were open until about 1 a.m. They werent showing the fight... cool, no big deal. But then the waitress proceeds to tell us they just closed the kitchen and we cannot order food or appetizers; not 5 minutes later, the table right next to us puts in their order and receives their burgers and fries about 10 minutes after that. She also told us about 9:30 that they wouldnt be stopping tap service and only selling bottled beer. However, a band was coming around 11 if we wanted to go grab some food and come back. She was nice about it and I still left her a decent tip for the 2 beers we were barely able to get. But how does a bar that is open til 1 and getting a band at 11 stop serving tap beer at 9:30? This was my first trip to Ruidoso and my first time at this bar and I was EXTREMELY disappointed.

Good food, fantastic service. The bartenders know there stuff. There the first place I go to when Im in town visiting.

Unless your going here to get hammered, this place is a dump. The last time I ate here the food was disgusting with terrible service to match. Also, the ceiling above the booth we were sitting on had some sort of spores or fungus growing on it. This is not the kind of place that should be serving food. I can only imagine the kitchen. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Beware: visited this place paid with card, and found unauthorized charges on my bank account the next day. Additionally, bad service, I mean really bad service.

This place is so sad, the service is terrible, the food horrible. The waitress brought us food, but forgot the silverware. We ordered salad & asked for the dressing on the side, but were told thats not possible. The dressing will be on the top. The BLT sandwich was bad, the burger was terrible as well. The chips were tiny broken pieces, the salsa tasted old & watery, the guacamole was bad. We asked for Beers, but werent served any because we forgot to carry our IDs with us. Doesnt matter if you look old, you still wont get any drinks if you dont have IDs, thats the rule in the State of New Mexico.

It’s a shame for a black man and white woman walking in the bar and the bartender refuses to serve them saved us a lot of money went to see our friends play in the band and the female bartender Avoided us at all cost . After not being served we left and will not be back .

Terrible! The waitress did not check on my table but one time in almost 30 minutes. Its not like the place was busy, maybe 25 people in the entire establishment. When the food finally came out, it was cold and sent back to the kitchen! Im not one to ever complain but this place sucks!! I finally told them never mind and I did not eat there. Highly NOT recommended place to visit.

Ruidoso is an amazing place, we have always had great costumer service everywhere we have gone. We decided to stop here after some horse races. We are hispanic’s and one of our friends had his consulate I.D when she asked us for our I.D’s. She was quick to say it wasn’t government issued. I have never seen that in my life! Her floor manager approved it once we showed her our veterans I.D. at the end but just the way she approached the situation made it very uncomfortable. They also said kitchen was closed, an hr and a half later a table right next to us was served. They stop serving drinks to us when we had only had max 2-3 mixed beverages, said they had a limite.Im from Texas, im not familiar with the rules but we were sober before arriving. I don’t want to use the word racism, but i have no other explanation. Horrible place!!!

Very good service. the bartender and servers cared about the business. the burger and fries were great as well! this is now my favorite bar in ruidoso

I dont have a review but a request. My wife and I will be visiting in a few months. Im not that big of a country music fan but Ill give anything a shot as long as there is a variety. My request is, are there any bars there that play more that just country music

Great live music and amazing food right in the heart of Ruidoso! Alot of bikers stop by there so if you love bikes thats the place to be.

Definitely better than Grace OMalleys, if you want quick service come here.

This place was just sad. Two pool tables that had not been cleaned...Ever. in fact, the whole place felt kind of greasy. Taking into account that it is supposed to be a dive bar, doesnt mean it has to be a dirty, nasty dive bar. Heres a tip guys...Wipe off tables and chairs, clean up the pool tables and level them, maybe buy a few new pool balls that arent chipped up, and put in an air purifier. Marked this one off our list of places to check out...Forever!

Great staff, excellent food and music

Through Ruidoso. They have great food, drinks, and a lively crowd when it gets going. Really the only nightlife in town. Our lodging is always within walking distance for a reason!!! Lost a star because there was absolutely zero country music on Saturday night, and the waitress forgot we existed. Id still come here again...unless we find something else!

We didnt even get served. Was looking forward to it since we were recommended by a nice man. Disappointed we couldnt eat there.

Two girls were our waitress (very beautiful ladies) and we were very confused! The wings were horrible and on the menu they had two flavors (which is ok)but when i thought hot was going to be HOT then i expected a little kick. the nachos we ordered had cheese that was sour and the the chips were soggy (meat looked ok). The waitress took 20 min to get to our table each time.we even had asked her for some napkins which never came and we were a bit messy but we did say when she had time but i guess she never had time for us... i went to the bar and asked her for some water... so i had to literally get up and ask could i please have some water and while there at the bar ( I dont like alcohol that much) and asked for a Virgin pina coloda (because they are much sweeter) . Well i got alcohol and im 18 ! Dont they ID? They did not want to make another one and i was very upset! They didnt charge so i was quite ok with it. Also for the record i saw a bartender eating ribs while working and also making himself a drink and i guess totally forgot my non alcoholic drink. I know he was not on break bc he kept going back and forth serving others. Also while at the grill one girl that was our waitress was scracthing her buttocks which i found inappropriate especially the way she dressed. I think women can dress the way they want but not like the way she dressed . Also touching your hair is not sanitary and its disgusting. The great part was the water, music, and HOW FAST OUR WAITRESS CHARGED OUR MEAL. We will never go back. Thank you.

Bad service, cold food, didn’t our appetizer until we got our meal, didn’t bring the dinner salad until after our meal. Went back later that night to try and have drinks, ghetto as hell, took forever to get a drink, DJ played the same song 3 times in the 30 minutes we were there. All around trashy as could be. Bathrooms were disgusting

Rock, pop, country and DJs. A nice break from the constant country across the street and around other clubs locally.
