I celebrated my graduation earlier this evening in this excellent restaurant. Well we passed a magnificent evening and the restaurant was clearly the reason for the outstanding evening. The stuff contributed in a very nice manner, the meals were appetizing and my guests were so joyful. We shall absolutely visit again for more events. thanks very much.

Had a great time coming out here for our first time. No cover charge was really nice, and the drinks were made strong enough for the prices which were actually pretty reasonable. All in all we hsd a good time here and I could definitely see us coming back next time we are downtown royal oak!

Im here right now and so disappointed. The person (girl) was so rude when we questioned the cover charge. Then when seated no one came to the table. Went to bar to get drink, was told someone would come to the table - they never did. The piano players are good - if not here for a party would have turned around at the door. Would not recommend.

I was with a group of 15 friends celebrating a birthday. Out of everyone, I was picked out as not fitting their appearance standards and wasnt allowed in. Outrageous; I was trying to spend time with my friends who I rarely get to see. I guess highschool drama of looking like youre a part of the clique still applies to some people way past their adolescence.

We were there for a bachlorette party on Saturday night. This place had great music, and was packed! Very fun!

Staff sure likes to pick fights and try to get physical. This place seems to have the worst reviews of any place in RO and I’ve seen most of the stuff described in the 1 star reviews as well so these reviews are legit. Don’t spend your money here when it’s so easy to find an actual fun place downtown.

My favorite dance club! Its a piano bar on the first floor, and dance club on the second floor! The dance music is usually a good mix of throwback and current songs.

This is a great place for a night out! The music is always good and it is easy to get drinks from the bar! no lines!

The service was terrible. We had to wait a half an hour after being seated to place our order. When our food finally came none of us had silverware. When we asked for some we were told we would have to ask someone else. After asking 3 different people, we had to find a manager to ask. By the time we could eat our food it was cold and did not taste very good. Our waiter was very rude. He rolled his eyes whenever we asked him a question. I will definitely not be returning.

A friend of mine was kicked out of the bar for throwing up in the bathroom. There was no issue with leaving because we were in the wrong. After we left we overheard the bouncer call her a b**** and that he wished he would have elbowed her in the face. I don’t care how unruly someone is, you can’t conduct your business like that. When I spoke to the manager all he did was apologize and provide 2 free covers for when we come back (which I never plan on doing).

They had a great dance floor and music

Gone here for years. Always a good time. Tonight they charged our whole group cover to get in and then wouldnt let in our last group member whose birthday it was. We asked for our money back and they closed the doors on us. Never will be back.

Will not come back to eat here. Ive had much better authentic Mexican food than this place. Food was ok, but overpriced. And you get charged for everything! first order of chips and salsa was free, but the salsa came in like a 2 oz bowl, so small, more like a sample size. definitely not enough for the basket of chips that you get. Chips were too salty. Ordered a 2nd bowl of salsa because the first one was obviously not enough, got charged 50 cents for it! They dont even have cheese dip here, what!?Not how a good Mexican restaurant should be run. Margaritas came in a cheap plastic glasses, not glass ones.

Tried to save my.friend from a guy that was creeping on her, she wasnt enjoying it and they kicked me out. This bar encourages the rape of women when they are.drunk. Shut it downThis bar encourages taking advantage of young women. Shut it down.

This was first time here. The service was nice, but the pricing was not what I expected. I was going to order tacos with my drink until the waiter told me $6 for one taco... I would call this place an over priced bar. I had a couple drinks with an appetizer and left.

The bouncers are are on a power trip. It’s kind of funny. And sad.

Im giving it a one because I cant give a zero. Made reservations, got there an hour before the show started and we still got a seat in the back corner and a high top was in front of us. It was hard to be engaged in the show when all youre looking at is the back of a persons head. The food was terrible, had a bite of the fish tacos and could not eat anymore. Service is terrible as well. Oh and super expensive, Royal Oak or not $17 for 3 tacos and nothing with it is horrible

It is the most bored place I have ever visited in Michigan... or USA maybe, no mexican music (as should be by the name Tequila), kind of expenssive.

RACIST ESTABLISHMENT!Management profiles who can enter based on race. We came in to celebrate a friends’ birthday party, with a guest of 14, but they denied us because one of our male guest is wearing Abercrombie rip jeans, everything else that he was wearing is formal dress code. Minutes later they let people in with this white a guy wearing a hoodie and sweat pants. I confronted the bouncer about it and he just insisted that he’s following the dress code. I guess their dress code is to be white and be wearing gym attire. We felt that we were discriminated because most of us were asians. We were about to drop hundreds of dollars for drinks, but our race wasnt worth the business for them. Don’t come and don’t support this types of places. The other bad reviews here really shows what type of business they are.

DO NOT GO TO TEQUILA BLUE!!!!Currently in the process of suing tequila blue!It was a Saturday night and a group of our friends went out to celebrate another friends birthday! All went well until one of my friends went missing so we headed downstairs to find him. He was intoxicated and he was being asked by the bouncers to leave (understandable) however, as I got down there I told he bouncers I would escort my friend out myself and take care of him since I wasnt drunk. On our way out the door This white bouncer (about 63 muscular build, short hair, mid 30s) approached for no reason and started to antaganize my drunk friend on our way out of the door! I basically told him to chill out and that we were trying to leave and that he was being rude! Next thing you know I turn my back as we are walking out the front door and he shoves me and my friend from behind and our heads and faces smacked into either each others heads or the steel door frame (doesnt matter, which ever it was it was hard) hard enough to break my pair of false teeth that cost me a fortune! The bouncer started talking smack to us and I was obviously very upset so I started talking back at him. Moments later my gf comes out to see where I went and she tells me as she was walking out of the door the bouncer sexually harrasses her! Are you kidding me? The worst staff Ive ever seen! The bartnenders have no personality and are very rude! And its expensive for no reason! Will not come back and I am looking forward to seeing the owner in court! DO NOT GO TO TEQUILA BLUE!!!!
