Over the span of two weeks Ive tried setting an appointment for three weeks out. I was extremely polite everytime Ive called and texted, and the girl on the other end never followed up on what she said she would do once. I tried giving THREE WEEKS notice and trying to make and appointment because of covid to ensure it would be a smooth experience. Really wanted my tattoo done here because I was referred by a friend and the pictures look great, but Im over getting the shaft and begging for a tattoo.

They did incredible work on the 3 1x1 tattoos I got! So much detail and great time work. They completed my forearm and I love it! Megan and James are both amazing artist! The owners are professional and it was a great experience. I’m definitely coming back for more!

The tattoo artist who did my crystal tattoo was bobby and he did a very amazing job, i recommend him if you ever want a tattoo that has clean lines and amazing shading. Had an appointment with Landon that I had to reschedule and then had to wait for a couple of hours after my scheduled time because the current client was taking longer than expected. I completely understand that and not really upset about the wait because he did outstanding work on my tattoo. I plan to go back but it is extremely hard to get an appointment for my next tattoo. I dont want to look for another shop because I really like this place but I wish it wasnt so hard to get an appointment or at least a response for one. Anyway, great place to get inked if you can get in. Highly recommend!

First of all, Friday 13th days are SUPER busy, so I was really amazed by how quickly and amazingly patient all the staff were.James did my tatts and he was incredible.Special shout out to the sweet receptionist who stayed calm through the storm.

Everyone was nice except a man who’s name I didn’t catch. He had long hair and a long beard and just walked by me as I was sitting in the front. Didn’t end up getting a tattoo but I guess if you like sitting in a chair being ignored it’s a great place

The guy that pierced me was great. ( sorry cant think of his name) got snake eyes.. Was kind of nerves at first but he did make me feel real comfortable. Very quick.. Would suggest if you want a piercing.. Very clean and professional.. Oh and price wasnt bad either..

JT (Tiny) is amazing! He gave my mom and I matching semicolons on the sides of our wrist, infinity sign with designs on her other wrist, and stars down my back. He has the personality to keep you calm and relaxed. He takes his time to make sure your tattoo is perfect, but he isnt slow. My mom and I got exactly what we wanted, the price was more than fair, and we actually enjoyed it! Neither of us are even sore the next day. He made sure everything was fresh and clean, too. Now all our friends and family are asking for his information, and we are gladly giving it out! Were going back soon!

I really feel bad about leaving this review bc I really liked the artist I worked with. She was so sweet and made me feel comfortable, but I am so unhappy with my tattoo. I waited for it to heal, thinking it would look better, but its just horrible. There are crooked lines, breaks in lines, the color work is bright but splotchy in places and looks more like crayon. I spoke to her a few months back about fixing it I didnt get a response.

Ive had a lot of tattoos at different shops but never have I felt as comfortable as I did here. My wife and I came to get a small detailed lettering tattoo and were introduced to Justin who absolutely blew us away with his skills. Everybody was very friendly and not the typical stuck up rude artist you normally deal with. They clearly appreciated our business and did everything to make us feel right at home. Extremely clean and overall amazing experience. Definitely recommend.

I went in on the recommendation of a friend to get my 1st tattoo. Met with Megan, and her assistant (hubby). Immediately thought that these were the type of people I could work with and trust. Talked, about what I wanted and commissioned the drawings to see what Meghan (degree in art btw) could come up with. Once I saw the renderings, setup an appointment. The appointment went well, I was trained on how to care for things during the heal up time, (thanks... no scaring or issues whatsoever).Overall, a very positive and good experience.Andy

This place is exactly as they say, Their artists are creative, artistic, very friendly and approachable, and will go overboard to ensure your tattoo experience is enjoyable and your art is second to none. The shop is clean and the front desk personnel a very helpful at answering any questions you may have, and do there best to make you feel comfortable while waiting for your artist. If your in the DFW area and looking for a place to get that special piece of art, then it is worth your time to go in and speak with one of these artists. The pick is of my most recent work of art done by Rene, one of the many talented artists this shop has. Please remember The ink on your body is forever, dont make the mistake of having your homeboy/girl who is cheaper and does it from their mothers basement do it. Go see these guys and get it done right. But if you dont, or have already made that mistake, just remember, these artists are more than capable of doing an amazing cover up.

I was a walk-in at 5:35 for my first piercing. I was greeted quickly, got my form signed, got my piercing, and made it home by 6:10. For a Tuesday afternoon they were nice and prompt! No complaints for my first visit!The receptionist who answered the phones was also REALLY nice! So props to her!

My husband and I got wedding tats here on our fingers today with Hannah. The atmosphere was professional yet comfortable and the staff were super nice and funny which was a plus. After 42 years I swore I would never do it.... but I always said if I did it would be arm bands with my kids names. Well Amy wanted me to take her and do something and this is what I decided. We started out with google and looked for Rockwall Tattoo studios. And we found google 5 ️ studio called Broken Heart Tattoo. And we were told to wait and they would help us. After an hour and a half the guy was done, walked up to us and said I’m late for lunch and walked out the door. The other guy said I don’t have time, you will have to come back another day!! Pissed off I walked out and had noticed when we pulled in I noticed Fresh Ink Tattoo Studio. Walked in, got with artist Rene right away, he drew it up and was exactly what I wanted!! Good people, good conversation, good music, awesome atmosphere and great professionalism!! Already thinking of my next one in memory of my father!!

Took my daughter here for her industrial. Friendly, skilled staff and a clean, well decorated environment. I know family friendly may seem odd, but I feel it applies and would definitely recommend.

This was my third tattoo, Ive gotten my other two in another state. Made an appointment a week in advance, got there and waiting almost two hours past my appointment time before I finally got to go back. I had originally scheduled with Landon but he was running late then as I was still waiting to go back he took another customer back. Im not a wimp when it comes to pain but Dakota, who ended up doing my tattoo, was unnecessarily rough and I was in tears for the whole 3 hours it took to do my tattoo. I left dripping blood and had to run home and wash my shirt before it stained. I wasnt charged the last hour of work, so I cant complain about the price. And it was pretty when he finished but now, only 2 weeks later its faded and patchy like Ive had it for years! I didnt pick or scratch it while it healed, I took care of it like I was supposed to but Im VERY unhappy that Im now having to go back and get someone else to fix it but I will NOT be going back here!

My boyfriend called ahead to inquire about an appointment after a friend referred us. We didnt even get out of the car because some drugged out guy was hanging out front smoking what we thought was cigarettes until we rolled the windows down. Any shop that allows open use of drugs is a pretty big red flag.

I sketched my own tattoo a while back and ive been waiting to get it tattooed and I found this place and I am so grateful! The girl who did mine, Bri, was very nice and fun to work with and she did an amazing job very quickly! Definitely a great choice of place to get my first tattoo!

I dont know if I would trust this place for piercings... On both me and my friend, the piercer didnt use antiseptic techniques to clean the area. Just confirmed the dots on our ears and went in for the piercing. We felt too nervous to say something in the moment, but we were very concerned about the reputability of this place thereafter. (I got a helix and conch, friend got an industrial, and none of the piercing areas were cleaned prior to the piercing) Wont be returning.

Im not going to lie this place is clean and professional but I didnt like that the guy doing my tattoo seemed like he was in a hurry to finish. Like Im paying for the service so might as well be done right especially if its gunna be on my body forever. The guy who did my tattoo did an okay job BUT he was the only one there and more people kept showing up so he did my bird really fast and was suppose to fix another bird I had into a butterfly but he made it seem like it was impossible to fix the way I was telling him. I guess cause he wanted to get to the other customers so I ended up going to a different tattoo shop where they fixed the bird he did in a hurry and where able to turn my other bird tattoo into a butterfly the way I wanted which was the way the guy at this tattoo shop said he was not able to do.

I got a piercing yesterday and he was good...he took his time and was gentle... He did an awesome job, and I love my piercing...
