The store is a little hard to find but its a nice and cozy store other than that. I wanted to check out Tiny Aquatics since I saw it online and also heard it by tongue while working. Its pretty small on the inside but they really do make the best of it. They have heaters, shrimp foods and regular fish foods, rocks and woods, siphons, and two rooms filled with freshwater fish that are ideal for small aquariums plus a table filled with small plants like anubias and more. Prices are fair and reasonable for the quality of their livestock and dry goods. The staff was very friendly and greeted me immediately once I came in. Definitely coming back in the future to buy some of their goodies.

I go to Tiny Aquatics at least 1-2 times a week! The service is amazing, Both Tran and Don are super friendly and kind people! They’re the reason I felt comfortable diving into the hobby. Its one of my favorite places to go and I recommend them to everyone I speak to!

Also, it was some of the best/healthiest livestock Ive seen, especially their shrimp collection; miles ahead of any chain pet store. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend Tiny Aquatics to both beginners and experts in the hobby. Well done!

This store is simply fantastic. The quality of livestock and plants is top notch for most things, and the prices were reasonable as well. Ive been wanting to visit since they opened and now that Ive finally made it in I wish I had flubs the time sooner. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and the scaping in the tanks is all incredibly well done. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Tiny Aquatics is an amazing place to start an aquarium adventure. We are new to aquarium keeping and had been using big box stores. Boy were we on the wrong path. Mariah was our fish expert and she is awesome. Super knowledgeable and I have the strong impression that this is the norm for all the staff there. There is an amazing selection of fish, live plants, crustaceans, and supplies. Even on a busy weekend we felt like Mariah was thinking of nothing except how to help us with our questions and needs. We have found our home for all things freshwater tropical fish.

Stunning display tanks, healthy fish and extremely kind and knowledgeable staff. I could have stayed all day just to look at the display tanks. Crazy to think about the amount of time and care that has gone into this store.

What an awesome place! Very well stocked with healthy creatures all around. Staff is super friendly and inviting as well as extremely knowledgeable. Helped me find some good tank mates (chili rasbora) for my shrimp tank. Will be coming here again for my next purchase.

Me and my daughter had the best experience. The owner and staff were awesome. You can tell they love what they do. They answered all of our questions and were just fun to talk to. There was a large selection of healthy fish, snails and shrimp e.t.c. I cant wait to go back.

Tiny aquatics is a cozy little shop with extremely friendly and informed staff eager to help. They have the greatest selection of shrimp I have found to date both neo Caridina and Caridina. Coming to this store was a wonderful experience and will be my go to LFS.

This place is awesome. Very helpful staff and everything you could possibly need to start your fresh water aquaspace. Nice selection of live water plants, rocks, driftwood, etc. Many different species of very healthy looking freshwater fish. Highly recommend.

First time there, its a nice little shop if u need nano tank fish and accessories. Owners are nice and pretty knowledgeable. The beta fish room is pretty nice. All in all it was a very good first impression.

Wow, where to start?!? The customer service and personal touch provided by Don and crew is unmatched. They truly want you to be satisfied and will go to great lengths to ensure this. To be greeted with a warm smile is a good start but they follow it up with knowledge and lots of great products. It’s called Tiny Aquatics but they have everything you would need to get started in this beautiful hobby. I will never go to another shop and don’t mind driving over from Leander because it’s well worth it. Keep it up guys!!

A family owned local fish shop, well maintained, intimate space with great variety and knowledgeable owners. They have just about everything an Aquarist or beginner fish keeper needs! They have a healthy selection of well kept and organized fish, and a great selection of plants too. I will keep coming back because the experience is unlike one youll have at a big box pet store.

Have been here twice now, once for hardware. The second for red crystal shrimp and guppy’s. Both times has been very friendly with what I was looking for, including sea chem products. I would recommend this place over any of the other north Austin pet stores I have visited for aquatics. Worth the visit!

Admittedly, I was initially skeptical of this shop due to the name, I expected a small shop with a few tanks for shrimps and snails and maybe some betta. However, despite the name, this shop has a very large and varied collection of fish and plants for its size. Its absolutely filled to the brim with aquarium supplies at competitive prices, it has the inventory of a shop twice its size. Very awesome selection for aquarist and aquascapers, with tons of scaping stones, wood and supplies as well as a wide selection of tanks, rimless as well. The plant selection is pretty good too. Very friendly staff who are happy to help and answer questions and are very attentive to your needs. Yes, the fish that they have tend to be on the smaller side as they focus on smaller aquariums, but the owner has told me that they are planning on opening a third back room for larger fish in the future, which Im very much looking forward to. The only complaint is that the fish prices are a *bit* high, maybe about 15% - 30% more than what I can find from a wholesaler or breeder online (Not including the shopping costs which is important, because they range from $15-$30 flat for shipping) but you dont have to pay shipping costs so you mostly save money there. Overall, love the look, the service, the selection, and the atmosphere, highly recommended, cant wait to come back.

Just found out about this place from a friend. Ive kept aquariums for the past 25 years so not a novice here. Just like the name states its a smaller place but the store is laid out well and easy to navigate. They have lots of products for both fish and plants. One thing that struck me was their aqua and hard scaping. The owners seem to be very passionate about this hobby and it shows. Tran(sp?) She was very helpful and real friendly and knowledgeable about all the fish and plants they had. Their fish rooms are smaller but they did have what I would consider the popular fish in the freshwater community. Danios, tetras, guppies, cichlids to name a few. They do have a beautiful selection of Bettas. These are not the kind you find at PetSmart. Their hardscaping selection was varied with different dragon stones and driftwood. They also had many thanks that were already scaped and gave me great ideas. The place is well organized clean and easy to get to. The prices are on par with the other places around and are very competitive.The parking lot is easy to get in and out of as well. All in all I will add this place to the places I will go to for my aquarium needs. I would definitely recommend novice hobbyist to check this place out and ask questions and get ideas.

Great local fish store run by knowledgeable and friendly staff. They breed their own shrimp, and have a large variety of high-grade neos and caridina. There is also a good selection of fish, plants, and aquarium supplies. Im excited to hear theyre already expanding, and looking forward visiting again soon.

They breed their own shrimp so the health, quality, and selection of shrimp is unmatched. There is not a crazy markup on testing kits and chemicals. The staff who I met, brother and sister, were friendly and knowledgeable. They only carry freshwater fish and they all looked happy and healthy. There are about 4 other aquarium stores between my house and Tiny Aquatics; however, I will be revisiting them the next time I need to stock a tank.

Got some Crystal Red Shrimps from them. The owner and staffs were really friendly and knowledgeable. They give good advice and not just trying to pressure you to buy things. They have high selection of Neo and Caridina shrimps. Their prices are worth stopping by. Definitely will be back, 10/10 would recommend to another friend.

Beautiful small store with a focus on...tiny aquatics! Made the short trek from austin to pick up some ich-x that the other, closer, LFS didnt have. This store is awesome! Its small but has great stock of shrimp and small fish. Plants too! They also had great stock of food and assortment of fertilizer and other treatments. Lots of small tanks and light too. Worth the drive.
