This is an excellent place to take your toddler. It teaches them how to swim in a safe, controlled environment. The instructors are awesome and they go out of their way to accommodate you if you miss, or have to cancel a class.
My son has been swimming at this location since he was 6 months. We absolutely love it. I absolutely recommend it.
I came over from 8 months experience at another local swim school, and at first felt frustrated that my child wasnt progressing, and I questioned the Aqua Tots method. Megan immediately gave me a complimentary private lesson, and explained to me the differences in requirements and that my daughter needed to unlearn a few not so great habits she had been taught. Once I understood the different method, I was able to help her practice some things at home, and she coincidentally started excelling.this is an awesome swim school, and Megan, the owner/manager, is highly attentive and responsive to any needs or issues. She has gone out of her way to help me with a couple different issues with both my kids, and the staff has been very sweet to me. There is some turnover, yes, but thats really the case at any swim school that has multiple teachers and multiple times available... Its something we trade off for accessibility and affordability with busy working schedules. But the teachers are awesome, Ande and Tiffany are two of my favorites, and weve had a really great experience watching our 2 and 3 year old learn to swim this past 6 months! Also, more in response to some other reviews on here, Ive never found it to be unclean water or unclean changing areas. Its super clean for a pool! Trust me, Im a lifelong swimmer! And honestly, who wants to shower their toddler or kid at a public facility? The rinse off is fine. Take them home and give them a bath! A little chlorine is good for the germy kiddos!
Beware of the length of your class. They claim its 30 min, but not really...more than once they have gotten the kids out early in the name of giving parents feedback, but it really doesnt add up. If Im paying for the class duration, then I expect that amount of time spent on the kids.
There is such a turnover of “swim coaches” (instructors) that my children don’t know week to week who they’ll get and this does not lend to a consistent learning environment. Furthermore...the water is almost always cloudy and the pool room smells like mildew. They don’t properly treat their pool and rely solely on a UV system (which research shows does not respond well to cloudy water). I would find another swim school or wait and see if they finally get organized with a different management team.
Great place!
Loved this place!!
