Our first time getting food here today. My wife went to public up our burgers. No frys or drinks or chips for 12 dollars a price. Which is fine. I figure we are paying for quality food and service. My wife has a boot on her foot for a broken bone and dropped a burger. They employees said there is nothing they can do. $30 for one burger. Horrible customer service. My wife left crying.
The food is quite tasty and rhe atmosphere is pleasant.BUT,...AND THIS IS A BIG BUT.THERE IS NOT EVEN ONE COVID 19 SAFETY PROTOCOL IN PLACE. NOT 1 !NO DISINFECTANTSNOT ONE SERVER IS MASKED! NOT ONE!This is appalling.
Lovely place...very friendly staff...I thought the gift shop would be bigger...would love to try there food and wine
This is one of my most favorite places. Atmosphere is wonderful food is great and wine is the icing to any great time! Love to come and just relax and enjoy having a moment to think and decompress. Don’t think twice stop and enjoy this place!Update December 2018 we had a private Christmas Party here and it was a total hit. The food was mouth watering and the service was on point. Jim the owner made a point to come and personally thanks us meet with us and assure us they were there to make our event a success. It was beyond our expectations. This is the place to host your next event. We will for sure!
Awesome food and a great selection of beer and wine. Dont let the outside fool you this is a big place inside plenty of seating room
Took 20 minutes longer to get my food than everyone else around me. I ordered 2 sandwiches. The manager brought out my food and offered 2 cookies for the wait. Didnt have pickle or chips. Had to go in and get a bag.. I seriously over paid this visit and I am disappointed.
Awesome place. Great staff and fantastic food !!
So glad I found this place! Looked for a couple days for someone to send a certain type of beer to my state. I can’t tell you how satisfied I am with all the packaging they used. Thank you guys and I will be putting in another order soon!
I took my wife there for date night we waited 15to20 min to get a drink 45 min later they still hadnt our order
A true oasis! They serve and showcase local wines and beers, and the ones we tried were all top quality. Staff is friendly and fun. An unexpected gem of a place.
Very good wine menu. Excellent Chardonnay..friendly atmosphere. Good staff and servers. Young & mature clientele.
We went with a group and had a great time. The food was very good. They have customizable wine flights (both size and wines). The wines and beers are all from New Mexico. We wish the server provided more information about the wines. The service was friendly and accommodating but somewhat slow and uncoordinated.
What a jewel here in Roswell, NM. What a great place for lunch, food was amazing, staff was very friendly and helpful. Great little setting. Will definitely be back when coming to Roswell.
Okay food, beer, and wine. However, my wife and I were the only ones wearing masks. No employees or customers were wearing masks. Major health risk at this facility.
Worst service we have ever had. 2 hours for a meal and no drinks. We were passing through and stopped for dinner. 3 other tables were being served with 2 waitresses to handle the orders. As soon as our waitress heard we werent drinking her eyes rolled and we didnt see her again for 15minutes. We had to ask her to take our food order. The food was ok. The pasta was at room temp but the flavors were ok. She never came back to see if anything else was needed or to give us a bill. We had had to ask. We waited for at least 15 more minutes while she catered to two other tables. And stood behind the bar for a while. This is the 1st time i didnt tip. Our server the next night reaped the benefits. Frank our server got his tip and hers. A 50% tip. Just because you dont think someone will tip doesnt mean they wont.
Great wine selection and a cozy atmosphere.
Excellent sandwich place. The only one like it in Roswell!!! Also, there is a winery there as well!!Great live music on the weekend!
Always friendly service and the food is always tastes great! Such a charming place!
Do not come during the UFO festival. Had to ask three times to be served waited an hour for 5 sandwiches. Did provide us with free chips. Most of the sandwiches were good. We were dissatisfied with the brisket and green Chile sandwich. The meat was bland the Chile was not hot. Also strangely the briskett was chopped not shredded. My sister was not fond of the bread on her Tuna sandwich. Cookies were good however.
Stopped by for a quick bite and drink and we were taken care of right away. The green chili quesadillas were soooooo good! We were in and out in leas than 30min and back on the road, oh and the house Malbec was wonderful.
We always have a great time, love the shows, fun and friendly atmosphere.there so many choices of beer and wine, you can also do tasting if youre not sure what you want. The food is amazing as well. Overall a great place!
Always such a wonderful experience, and the ambiance is fantastic! The wines its all about the wines deelishis! And lets not forget fabulous food! Yes all in all I had a wonderful time! And suggest you visit, you will love it!
Good service, good food and nice atmosphere.
Great service. Great food. Great atmosphere. And that guy Josh aint so bad either.
A little pricey for what you get in food. Good food just expect a little more for the price.
Fun. Clean great service
My wife and I love to come here on date nights. The food is pretty good, the drinks are great, the atmosphere is outstanding and the service is really good. They has some great acts from time to time as well, we really enjoyed the Jackopierce concert last month.
I place large catering orders with them whenever Im in town and they always have great service and amazing food!
Great beer! Nice atmosphere as well. We had the cream cheese and green chile with crackers! Mouthwatering! Our dogs seemed to enjoy the outing as well!
Great food great refreshments
First in the brochure and on the TripAdvisor website it says FREE wine tasting. That is totally wrong the prices are three 1oz pours of various wines of your choice for $5 or get three half glasses for $12 called Flight. Theyre still the flavors of your choice. Again I cannot stress enough that it is NOT free wine tasting. We called, and the woman that answered did clarify the address and then hung up without another word. When we showed up we were greeted after standing at a bar for a few moments. When asked about the tasting she directed us to another bar. We then asked about the free wine tasting and she informed us that in the two years that she has been there theyve never had the free wine tasting. I then took my phone went on the website and showed her it said free wine tasting. She did give us each an ounce of our choice of wine to taste for free. Her manner was not very friendly. after she walked away and then returned a few minutes later her demeanor was a lot better.
Terrible food service and the sandwich was so bad especially for the price they charge. The bar side had better service but the beer is unfortunately not good either. Over hyped.
Best sandwiches, homemade salads, and dinner specials in town. Their homemade cookies are made daily, and they have the best homemade focaccia bread that they use for their sandwiches. Their cheese trays are pretty amazing too.
Great wine. Great beer. Tuesday $2.50 drafts. Their patio is awesome and they have a variety of tables inside.
Great wine food and service. A unique experience.
We had our high school reunion there a few weeks ago. It was awesome working with them on planning the event. They were very flexible and helped me find an option that would meet our budget. Everyone had a good time, the food was good, the beers were awesome. The tres leches cake was to die for! Ill be making this place a regular stop when Im in Roswell.
I enjoyed the food and wine here. I tried one of their own wines and it was very good. The charcuterie board was put together really well and the service was great.
Great food and atmosphere, and even better service.
Very helpful staff. Stop here everytime Im in town.
Love to come here with friends to unwind and relax. Great menu and wine options! It even has a game room where my kids like to hang out and play a board game. They even get capris suns!
You have to eat here!! The food is wonderful. We had a salad sampler and were amazed by the flavors. We will be going back when ever we can. We took some to go with us. The service was impressive and the atmosphere delightful. Don’t miss visiting with Morima De La Rosa. So sweet and an awesome cook.
We went to Roswell on a whim. We got there about the time most things were closing up. But the one place in town open for a while was Pecos. And I love wine so theres that. My husband and I both did a wine tasting and had dinner. You can taste any wine they have open or serve by the glass. We lucked out and also got to try Kiva (a brandy infused white wine) and their green and red chili wines. If you dont know what you want, let the bartender and locals guide you. Great atmosphere, great people. If were in Roswell again we will definitely go back to Pecos.
Great! Service, food, and the place itself. If you will be anywhere near Roswell, this is a place to eat.
Now, after 3 visits, I finally have this place wired. I seem to be confused by the dinner side vs. the sanwich side, ordering on sandwich then sitting in the dinner side, or sitting in dinner side ordering shared plates, then the confusion of dinner vs. lunch hours. So now Ive become accustomed to their quirks I really like the place - their menu is fresh and varied, good selection of beer for a winery, and amazingly good live entertaintment (J. P. Harris and the Tough Choices). All-in-all, its a great little place in Roswell, New Mexico. McKayla in the kitchen was graciously accommodating and Tara was friendly and sweet server. We like it here.
Good food and brew, friendly service.
Excellent food...wines..craft brews..give yourself a treat..check for who the entertainment will be.
We like going in at lunchtime and enjoy some of their amazing and original sandwiches
Quaint little place. Staff was very courteous and explained things through. Sandwiches were delicious, and the cookies looked scrumptious! Wine selection was great, and steward made great recommendations according to our tastes.
Absolutely loved this place, the atmosphere and our server, Robin. What an absolutely wonderful find! The wine is amazing, the service was the best, and the owner even came to our table to see how we were doing! We flew in from San Diego and only had a short time to experience New Mexico, and all I can say is lucky us for finding Pecos!! THE BEST!!
Always great food with good wine and beer. Its a fun and welcome environment. Also, its good for cute and nice gifts.
Loved the food, wine atmosphere and excellent customer service
Great food.
Always good service, great beer, and good food.
Very clean and friendly service.
Friendly service, good wine, and cheese platters.
The concert was great. The limited menu they chose to serve, not so much! The nosh tray with cheese, olives and nine grapes had no crackers or bread!! Is that for real? My husband ordered a Santa Fe 7K beer and swears it was a different beer every time he asked for another. However, it is a winery and my pinot grigio was very good.
Friendly staff, great food, and a perfect stop for lunch
Excellent service and food!
Nice and cozy atmosphere. Good drinks and food. Cool events.
Hot Club on the Pecos entertained tonight and sounded great. The waitress was very busy but found time to be attentive. Food was good. Lots of friends were there tonight. Great evening.
Worst service in town by far. The waitress was very rude when I politely pointed out that my burger wasnt cooked. Instead of offering to fix it, the waitress asked how I had ordered it. I certainly didnt order it raw. Waited 20 minutes for a glass of water and never got any refills on any other drinks. Had to go ask for our ticket, and the waitress handed me the ticket and took my money without a word. No please, thank you, sorry we served you a raw burger, nothing. I will definitely not be going back there.
Flourless torte amazing. Old fashioned.Chicken salad on point. Must seeWish the cashier was faster and she didnt get my order correct but kitchen saved her!
Very pleasant atmosphere, the wine was good, and good service
We had a nice long lunch and wine tasting. The green chile stew was great. We bought bottles to take back home. The service was lovely.
Quaint wine store that has Deming wines available.
The warm bree came out cold--it still tasted okay and my date seemed to like it so I didnt say anything. But then when we left we got charged about half what we shouldve been charged. I brought this to their attention and it took probably 15min for them to get this sorted out, all the while we were standing awkwardly at the bar. After this, I expected some polite gesture in the form of let me take this glass of wine off for you or something similar--it didnt happen.
Its walking distance from my home, the food is healthy and delicious. The people who work there are awesome...and they have Senior Circle coffee! Best coffee in town!If they had stayed completely alcohol-free, Id be giving 5 stars.
Nice place, pleasant surprise!
Great food and wine! Amazing service, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will stop here every time Im in Roswell! Love Compadre Cabernet!
Great environment and great drink selection. Almost every weekend they have a great show going on. Its definitely worth the visit, especially if youre looking for a chill place to hang out and have fun with friends.
Lots of sandwiches and salads to choose from and they are all yummy! You can eat in the wine bar and try a wine before buying a glass. All the staff were friendly and helpful!
Not the quality of gift items I expected. Nothing Local or made in USA, all made in China. Local wine selection was more limited than expected but the local wines were good quality and drinkable.
One of my favorite wineries. Ive been buying wine from here since 2007, and my favorite has been the Pecos Applause.Staff at the winery are always friendly and helpful when it comes to finding that perfect wine. They are always glad to pour you some tastings that border whatever type of wine you are interested in.The winery carries more than just their own bottles, but many bottles from wineries across New Mexico. With unique flavors and blends including hatch chilis. They carry one of my other favorite vineyards, Black Mesa, which is located near Espanola/Santa Fe.The new location as of 2016 now offers a food menu, in a small bistro attached to the wine area.If you love wine, this is a must stop. Especially if you want to try a variety of the New Mexican wines without traveling all over the state.
Great atmosphere, food is super delicious, and the service was excellent, definitely coming back for more of their wine and a great fine dining experience.
Great place! The new location is amazing and the staff is super friendly and helpful. I love having lunch here during the week (get the Brinkman) and the live music shows on the weekends make for a perfect experience. Grab a bottle of wine and a cigar on your way out and support a great local family business!
Great place for a drink if your in the mood for New Mexico made.
This place just made me uncomfortable. I guess the sandwich counter had closed at 3pm, we got there at something like 3:05. Instead of politely turning us away, they acted so awkward! I said hi, one of the two people there made an unhappy sort of face, neither spoke. I didnt know what to do, but proceeded to choose something from the menu. I asked my boyfriend out loud, what are you getting? And we talked about menu options standing right in front of two of them. They waited till we gave them our order to finally spit out that they werent going to serve us and treated us in a way that made us really uncomfortable. Whatever it was that set them against us we left feeling really unwelcome. It IS ODD to close up part of your restaurant at 3pm, and hours for the winery are untill 8pm so they may want to get better at turning hungry people away, or put a sign on the sandwich counter when it closes.
Love the food, spirits and look!
Always great. Attentive. From Seattle with love. Kenn
This place is awesome. If you havent been, just do it. Local beers and wine, good food and lots of food items to purchase. Hidden gem of Roswell.
Staff is pleasant, food and drinks are good as well. The atmosphere is cozy.
Very nice establishment. Friendly staff. Good beer and wine selection. Great place to socialize. Service can be slow and inattentive when busy.
Absolutely awful experience. Staff was uninformed on the beverages they serve. They were out of many beers on the menu but yet later in the visit the beer miraculously appeared. They offer a small menu but were out of several dishes. The Pollo frio tacos werent all that great for the price. And mass confusion with the service. At one point we had two or three people taking our beverage orders.we had to make sure we were being charged appropriately. Definitely will not be going back.
Nice place. Good atmosphere. Friendly staff. Alien wine is good
Good wine, great atmosphere and their bistro is SOOOO good! fast service and they often have bands playing on the weekends. There is a nook with games to sit and eat with adults or kids!
Lovely place, friendly staff, and all the best New Mexican wines and beers.
The sandwiches.... SO DELICIOUS. We tasted lots of wine and came home with 3 bottles and I recommend the pepper jelly bought 2 bottles of it too. Worth the stop!
Great food, beers and wines and customer service. Lovely place to hang out and visit or listen to music.
Great venue for the Roswell Jazz Festival. Tasty food, wine, and friendly folks.
Fun venue. Wines by the glass are dependant on what bottles are open... interesting concept.
Very nice and good lunch and wine. Will stop again when in the area.
The young lady working today was very sweet and knowledgable, we tried several local craft beers and we loved the Alien Amber. Also sampled several local wines based on what I normally drink and she picked the wines that I would like. Would highly recommend, well worth stopping.
Service is great friendly atmosphere quick service
Mediocre, very small quantities for the price. The beer is reasonably priced but the bartender had no idea how to pour a beer. Wouldnt go back.
The two ladies working tonight were just the sweetest and were very helpful. They have a great selection of New Mexico wines in a variety of price ranges and a nice selection of local beers. They offered me sample tastings of nearly everything they had. We didnt stick around to drink, but the seating looked very comfortable and the other customers there seemed friendly.
The food is always good
Great place to sample local wines and enjoy a good selection of tapas.
