Nice quiet park not bathroom facility
Park is fun with a pond full of life and a tennis court.
Lots to do and wide open spaces.
Howard Johnson Park is very small, and is most used for shorter walks and a young child playgrounds. It is well kept and managed, and quiet so one can enjoy nature.
Nice place to play for the kids.
Great looking park. Not huge but lots of things to do!
Pretty small playground but the little one enjoyed it.
Nice little park with tennis court, newer kids play equipment.
Kids always have a great time here, the equipment is fairly new. If you play pokemon go there are 2 pokestops and a gym
Nice clean place for kids to play
Good Pokemon.
This place is great, it has two tennis courts, however it can be busy, I have gone there couple of times, and people were waiting to play there. There is a near by park, behind best buy that has tennis courts too.
It was a nice park, I had some extra time to read so I stopped there. It was clean and had a new jungle gym. There was a pond but it was disgusting and green. I didnt see how far the park extended into the back, but it was a pleasant little place to stop.
Great park...
Heres what you need to know:Parking: LotAge range (playground): 3+Sidewalks: Paved to play area with a trail around the parkSeating: Benches by play area and along trailBathrooms: A porta-potty by the play areaPicnic tables: One by the play areaGrills: One by the pondSports field: Tennis courts and open fieldsMy kids were so excited to get out of the car as soon as we pulled into the parking lot at Howard Johnson Park (1260 Woodhill Drive). Along with the popping color of the play grounds (that yellow!), theres an incredibly steep slide they were eager to try out.The playground has a combination of mulch and synthetic flooring (the latter underneath the playgrounds themselves). Its also got two playgrounds: One for kiddos 2+ and another for kiddos 5+.Younger kids can take stairs, a curved ladder, or raised steps to yet another curved ladder to reach the top of their playground. They can take any of these options back down or ride one of the double slides.Even though this playground is meant for younger tots, the only way Zoey (16 months) could get up was via the stairs. Even Titus (3) struggled with the raised steps (theyre tall and far apart). Madi (4.5) was the only one who could comfortably navigate the smaller playground.Older kids have a variety of vertical challenges at the bigger playground, including a sideways ladder that connects one part of the playground to another. This feature is definitely not for the faint of heart; Im not sure Id cross it myself! Also included on the big kid playground are several slides, a curved climbing net, and a climbing wall. Madeline enjoyed the challenge of the climbing net, but steered clear of the sideways ladder. Titus mainly used the stairs to get to the half of the big kid playground he could reach. The swing sits opposite the playgrounds. It has the full assortment of swings: high back, baby, and regular swings.Between the playgrounds and the swing set are a low-hanging hammock, double-seated spring riders balance beam, swirling seats, and other spinning equipment (both seated and hanging). Madi and Titus couldnt reach the hanging equipment but did enjoy spinning on the other features. As is the case with most Roseville parks, the play area is in great condition. The parking lot also sits right in front of the play area, a convenient location, especially for a mama with lots of littles in tow.Unfortunately, I found this park best suited for school-aged children. Most of the equipment is intended for kids who have a strong control of their gross motor skills and are physically tall and strong enough to confidently navigate obstacles such as the sideways ladder (which hangs about 12 above the ground).Unless kids can cross the sideways ladder, or scale the curved climbing net, theres also no other way to reach the steep double slides. Because of this, only Madi got to try out those slides.Younger kids who cant yet scale the big playground will quickly tire of the little playground. This is where we found ourselves near the end of our visit. Not surprisingly, we ended up swinging for the last 15 minutes or so.While Howard Johnson Park is beautiful and well-kept, our next visit will probably be a couple years from now.
Great little park located on Hamline and Woodhill in Roseville. There are tennis courts with lights that will stay out until 10pm. There is also a playground and an open field with a lacrosse net.
Nice playground
Another great park in Roseville!
I around the trail and David and Dylan play at the park
