The bar that has it all: several bathrooms, pool tables, outdoor patio and a wide selection of drinks and appetizers. The outdoor patio is a great spot for a first date. Its quieter then inside to chit chat and get to know each other better. Also, the chairs are comfy. I would recommend not ordering any complicated drinks. The black Superman I ordered, didnt taste like it had any alcohol in it, but the Jameson and ginger beer was heavy-handed. It could be that they were made by two different bartenders.

Huge Halloween party there last night. Capacity way beyond 50%. I don’t understand how rules only apply to some businesses and patrons.

Great vibe here. The bar service was awesome, the bartender was not too heavy handed on the drinks. Two pool tables and a dance floor with a nice spacious outdoor area if the club area is not your style.

R&B, hype music. Alot of fun.

Having my 29th (again) Bday there, the best bar in Roseville.

Bartender would not give me my change back it was my sister birthday so i went all out but I was completely sober I bought shots for our group and of course I expected my change back but was told someone might have took it or I grabbed it while i waited politely the bartender kept telling me oh wait Ill get to you twice my sister gave me the change that was due but thats not the point he/she tried to take advantage of me and im going to tell everybody that i know that onyx takes advantage of you whether you are sober or drunk

At one time I managed the onyx back in the mid 90s. This place is very sentimental to me. Eliose the owner at the time was very dear to all of us. Unfortunately she passed a few years ago, the onyx will always hold a place in my heart. God bless you eliose

The Onyx Club had been under investigation since November when Roseville police say they got a tip that bar staff were involved in narcotics sales while working.Undercover agents with Roseville police and the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control were able to buy cocaine. Several violations were documented, police say.As a result of the investigation, the bar’s ownership has agreed to several penalties, including: a 30-day suspension (beginning on Jan. 3, 2019), three year suspended revocation, limitations of alcohol sales to the patio after 10 p.m. from Sunday through Wednesday and 1 a.m. Thursday through Saturday, and the hiring of one licensed and uniformed security guard on Fridays and Saturdays.

I like the fact they have a outdoor patio area if you need air w/ heaters to keep warm. Also like that they dont get petty like most clubs caring about if your wearing Jordans or a hat. Will definitely be going back

It’s a low key chill spot, affordable drinks okay music selection with bomb dance floor. Outside bartender was cool for the most part.

Place has been here for along time. Weekend nightclub offers hip hop atmosphere. Super fun crowd. I had a great time

Its my favorite bar. I go whenever i get the chance. Employees are friendly, music is great, friendly people. Definitely should go check the place out.

I am a bartender myself, but I like how the onyx bartenders serve here. I had a blast, great environment of nice people I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who want to experience a fun night to remember. ....THE ONYX CLUB ROCK!

Bartenders are great and up to speed as long as its not that busy. Definitely would recommend to anyone trying to have a good night.

This is the most ghetto place I have stepped foot into. If not for my friend they wouldnt be lucky enough to have me come out to such a ghetto place. I had a horrible first time experience there yesterday mind you I was the only one dressed up there. I was pulled out by force by a bouncer and physically thrown to the floor by force. No explanation was given until after apparently there are no electronic cigarettes still not an excuse. This place is horrible I dont recommend it to anyone!!!! If you consider yourself to be high end this is not the place for you....

No respect for Designated Drivers whatsoever.Waiting outside three and a half hours for my party.Will definitely never recommend the Onyx Club in Roseville again.

I always have a blast when I go to the Onyx Club sometimes there are creepy people there but you just walk away and have fun overall I think this is a great place to dance have fun and just hang out with your friends

On two separate occasions I went to this bar had one or two beers and the next day I was charged $25 and $30 this also happened to my brother once here. Not a good place to go.

Ghetto and charges a cover charge, even at 1 am when youre just bar hopping. Didnt go inside because of how ghetto it was.
