Not a bad park just not the best option. The park was expansive and the walking trails were nice. However there was not much shade. The picnic facilities need some touch up love as the park benches were rotting. The bathroom facilities were in rough conditions. Bring your own soap. There are lots of ducks and turtles in the small pond. Be aware that there are a lot of snakes in there. We saw at least four separate snakes in the water while we were fishing. The expanding prairie is nice.

We love Seabourne Creek. It is a little piece of paradise in the middle of chaos. There are little habitats all around and you often get to see the friends who live in them. The small lake/pond has many turtles and ducks with nests so for sure there will be more to enjoy in the future. We have also seen spoonbills, cranes and several other birds. Nutria have been sighted in the wetlands area. Recently they have put a small butterfly garden and a prairie garden. There are several benches and a few picnic tables scattered throughout the park. Look for the plaques marking native plant and tree species. Great for the whole family.Bring a blanket and have a picnic.

Great place for frisbee golf. The course starts just east of the parking lot, goes around the lake and through the woods and some trees. A lot of fun and nice change from the other disc parks around Houston.

This is a great place for a family adventure. You can go on a hike along the trails to see the ducks or go fishing in the large pond. There is a large gazebo that can be rented for events. We had a family Easter egg hunt there one year. There are public restrooms in the parking lot at the head of the trails.

Not the best park. When you arrive you see just a few acres for recreation but on the description of the park it advertise 164 acres. Where? Lots of space not being used.Very small parking lot. One water fountain. Their should be several through out the park.No lighting what so ever. They need to extend and create more trails. They need to clean up trails and maintain them better.(refer to images) I honestly think their should be a playground for kids. A volleyball court, more picnic tables and more seating like benches. So much space not being used such a shame. They have plenty of space to make a section for dogs because DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED.

This park has had a complete makeover in the past few years thanks to partnership between City of Rosenberg and Coastal Prairie Chapter Texas Master Naturalists. I recently attended an event there and must say it is fantastic. Dont go for soccer fields. Go for NATURE !!

As a night owl, I love the fact that this park closes at 7 PM! As for the park itself, theres a lot of distance for people who can walk or run the whole day and the scenery is amazing for people who love to make art (the locals dont seem to mind either). I mean, there are basically two lakes and a bunch of forest in the park and its kind of cool to walk far enough from where you park to the actual creek for its namesake, although it happens to be surrounded by concrete on the other side just to remind you that youre still in civilization.Of course, Im probably biased since this is the closest park to my house, but this place really IS nature, so one bit of advice, be careful. Even the restrooms at the front of the parking lot are clearly part of nature so try to let go of your insectophobic tendencies if you plan to go here. Otherwise, youll love it!

No reason to shut down a public park 2 days in advance for 4th of July event and city employees who are obviously lazy didnt even clean up the mess. Huge firework cannons left on the track. Absolutely no reason for that. Shut down the park for 3 days so when you reopen it should have been spotless.I have been coming to this park for 6 months. Great place to run when its not crowded and what I mean by that is that there is lots of space but for some reason parents with kids in strollers and their bikes like to scatter them selves across the track. Stay far right and out of runners way. They dont maintain the trails very well. Usually takes them a while to clean up debri after storm or if tree limbs/branches fall on trails. And not cool for city employees to drive their vehicles through the park on the tracks and especially when theres people.
