Lovely old theater that is lovingly maintained. This theater sponsors lots of great events, like the Polar Express Christmas readings, plays, events, and live music performances. Parking is a little harrowing. Do not park on Broad St! You have to pay or be towed! Otherwise, no issues there.

Seven Hills Fellowship Presbyterian Church meets here. A good mix of hymns and contemporary worship songs. Preaching is excellent and reformed.

I moved to Rome originally in 2005 and was always fascinated with the DeSoto, and community theater. I never made it there, and even moved away for a while. I recently returned Rome sweet Rome and today my 9 year old and I caught Alice in Wonderland. The kids were fantastic! The theater was magical, and the day was an entire success! Thanks DeSoto, we will be back for Scrooge!

Took my 4year old daughter to opening night of Alice in Wonderland! Was a great show, cast took time to take photos with her and we will definitely go again! Wonderful time!

This is a lovely historic theater that has many wondeful events, like the Polar Express program. They host live music events, plays, and more. You purchase tickets online as well. They are reasonably priced. Ticket sales go to ensuring the restoration of the theater, and keeping it beautiful.

Very entertaining. The people there were so friendly. My 7,9, and 11 year old kids sat quietly through the 2 hour play. They really enjoyed meeting the fantastic actors after they play.

The DeSoto Theatre hosts a number of wonderful plays throughout the year. I highly recommend visiting if you have the chance.

This is a wonderful, historic theatre in the heart of downtown Rome, GA. The staff were very kind, and the production of The Producers was a lot of fun!
