We loved this ballpark and the low-key family fun. Lots of family activities, reasonably-priced food and beverages, and great open areas in the outfield area where the kids can run and play. We never sat in our reserved seats as the youngsters preferred to stay at a picnic table down the right field line. Easy and ample parking.
Went to watch the Fireworks show they put on to celebrate the 4th of July. And it was really nice and family oriented. We were very pleased and had a great time!...
This place is AWESOME!!! Wonderful atmosphere and the kids will LOVE IT, big or small!!!! I loved hearing the ball hit that catchers glove and the bat crack when contact was made. Love $2 beer on Thirsty Thursday!!!! They usually have something else going on in conjunction with or after the game. I got to see Micro Championship Wrestling!!!!!
Its a small ballpark and it seems like everybody knows each other. The staff is very friendly. Many of them will strike up a conversation with you, even out of the blue. It is very affordable entertainment. Tuesdays are the best for the money. $2 tickets, even club level. $2 draft beer in 12oz cups including Coors Light, Miller Lite and Bud Light. Checkout the Hat Shack while you are there. All hats are $10 even the New Era fitted hats.
Go braves all ways a fun place to take family kids church group clean and healthy environment
Great minor league ballpark. I’ve probably been to 50 parks and this ranks in the top 5!
This is a great experience super fun to watch and go to. Love the true sportsman and competitive nature of the game.
It was closed down but my kids still enjoyed seeing it
We love to come here with our family to catch a game and see the future stars of the Atlanta Braves.
Excellent, fun experience. Good food at the restaurant too!
Its at home and fun to watch a good game.
My son is in a wheelchair and the medical let of take him to do his personal business in thier room. They were amazing. The mascot interacted with the crowd and the kids. The cheer leaders were great. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful if you had questions. The only reason I didnt leave five stars was truly the prices were extremely high. A bottle of water was 4 dollars, a kiddie (small) fountain drink was 4 dollars, a hot dog was 4, and last but not least a small dipping dogs was 8 dollars. When you have a family of 5, and of course everyone wants a treat, it can be very costly. Outside of the prices I would have definitely rated 5 stars. I am unsure the ticket prices because the company I work for I believe may sponsor them in some way so my tickets were free. Keep up the good work guys cant wait to visit again!!!
I really like the Braves, Rome or Atlanta. Ive been a fan since I was a kid.
I had an awesome time. I love that they have a place where I can sit and have my miniature Doxie with me. It really was a lot of fun. Looking forward to going back.
Great place to take the family. The staff is super nice a friendly. You can always get a game ball here. Great price also very clean.
Great place to watch a game. Can get very hot out in the field though. Very open area for kids to play while watching the game. They do go all out to entertain during the game. The players even throw the ball around to the kids sometimes during the innings and their warmups. Wear t shirt and shorts..you wont regret it.
We love coming to see the Rome Braves play. This is a great stadium to get up close with the players and avoid huge crowds
Cool team, maybe next time I sing there I can meet some of them
Great ball park, a great outing for families
Best value around. Great seats for $10
Not a bad seat in the park. People are friendly. A lot of fun.
$2 Tuesday was fantastic! Parking, ticket, 2 hotdogs, and a lemonade cost me $13.00. The only thing that would have been better is if the Braves had won!
My family loves the Rome Braves! The games are beyond fun and super affordable plus the staff is great. It is awesome getting to see and meet the players of the Atlanta Braves organization in their first full season of professional baseball! Plus, State Mutual Stadium is beautiful and offers the best experience and atmosphere in Minor League Baseball! Easily the best place to spend your summer evenings in Rome, GA!
Im not a big baseball fan but they keep it interesting with things between innings. I think all of the seats are good. The food and drinks were really expensive... as are all ball parks suppose. Of course the team changes regularly as the Braves move people around. Sometimes we get players from Atlanta that is on the mend.
Fireworks night is a blast!! Lotsa FUN!
Great place for a baseball outing. Came here for the Best in the East Showcase and had a great day of baseball. Very envious of the people of Rome; they have a great facility.
Very fun park.
This was a great place! Especially if you have children, the players are so interactive with the kids, autograph stuff for them, this was a great experience, one that my daughter will never forget as well! We will be going again!
Great park, prices and product! Nothing better than watching the baby braves
My Brothers and I returned for another game last night and we had a great time once again. A little rain shower passed by to cool things off. Announcing is still one sided but no affect on a good game. Well keep coming back.
Best value in the area for baseball! Family four pack is the way to go on Sundays, just check the website for the amazing deal. We go to at least 10 games each year because its so much fun and such an easy drive.
We enjoy going to the Rome Braves games and thankful its right here in our hometown
Ive been to my local baseball stadium a few times. It is a great place to go over the summer with family or friends. It is a great local stadium, and the tickets are very inexpensive. However, I would suggest stopping somewhere else to eat unless youvdont mind splurging on food because the food offered at the stadium can be pricey. I love our local stadium though, and I hope I have time to attend this summer, especially on some of the event nights like firework night or school spirit night.
Affordable fun! Great seats and fun family atmosphere!!
It was a nice get away from the big crowds of the Atlanta Braves. Prices were very reasonable. Up close and felt like I was there in the game. More up close to the action at a fraction of the price. Less traffic and very easy to get in and out. Highly recommended to anyone who likes baseball.
My $7 hotdog was undercooked.Sloe service.Ballgsme was fun,price great
Rome braves are a great price and fun. My only complaint is food could be be better not bad just needs improving.
Concessions usually crowded & inexpensive however, the ball Stadium never that crowded except for special events like fireworks, hot, and the speaker system is way too loud. Not a family atmosphere at all. lot of drunk people an alcohol smell lingers even on Sunday.
Always a fun time
Im just not gonna pay the money or make the time it takes to go to that controversial new Atlanta Braves stadium up in Cobb county. I will, however, attend a few Rome Braves games these days...its a fun time at the ballpark at a fraction of the cost. Great seats are well within just about anyones budget. Chop chop!
I love this place can have a lot of fun there
Fun game! great place
Awesome grandkids loved it great atmosphere for familys
Great experience. Event was family friendly with a lot of contests before the game and between innings. Concession stands were friendly and reasonably priced. Excellent location for families to bring their kids and enjoy a great game of baseball.
We always have fun with family and friends
Rome Braves are an excellent team great ticket prices
Fun Family Atmosphere. This ballpark is located in Rome, Ga. The Rome Braves are a Minor League Single A farm team from the Atlanta Braves. The environment is child friendly and family oriented. Located 70 miles northwest of Atlanta. If you enjoy going to Suntrust Park in Cobb County make the extra trip up to Rome to come see the future stars for the Atlanta Braves.
All of the seats are good. The staff are very helpful. Great way to have a blast with your family and not have to spend a lot of money.
Very nice minor league stadium. All seats are good and tickets are cheap. Dont understand why they charge for parking. Drink and food prices are high.
Had a good time. The crowd was not as bad as a major league game and you felt a little closer to the game
Always fun to come to a game. Concessions were fine and the experience was good.
The boxes are awesome, in the shade, inside and out. Park is clean and food is great to. Its a wonderful place to take the family for a very reasonable price
Small, Intimate, Fun. Easier to enjoy a game than at a big league stadium.
Love goin to the game
Great ballpark for single-A, no question. New, plenty of stuff for kids to do, lots of good food, plenty of shade.
Super place to take kids for a great baseball experience.
Family fun for Fourth of July, enjoyed the game & they had very good fireworks following the game. I ate @ Bubbas BBQ very tasty & very generous portions. (FYI: No one has any salt to add to food.)
Great baseball at an awesome price
Great seats and overall good time
We’ve been to a few minor league parks and can vouch State Mutual (Rome) is a great little park. Not a bad seat in the house, and reasonable prices. Very family oriented. We’ve been going to Rome for around 7 years now, and the only consistent negatives would be the food and restroom cleanliness. The food quality is not that good compared to other ballparks. They have made some changes over the years, but seemed to miss the mark. Beer prices are reasonable and of the choices, Chik-fil-A is our goto. But overall a fun place to watch a game.
This is a great family experience. My entire family loves being able to watch baseball and meet the future Atlanta Braves players. This clean and family friendly stadium is tons of fun.
Had fun :D
Good stadium and friendly staff. They do let a guy there be a supreme nuisance by yelling at inappropriate times and way too loud behind other fans. They need to stick him in the outfield berm where he can make an ass out of himself without the disruption.
Older stadium but it was still fun watching the game. The food prices were reasonable.
Great ticket prices. Food was ok, nothing original. Parking was $5 but very close. Looked to be 3 gates and it was bobble head night. We showed up 30 min early and did not get one of the bobble heads. There were 1000 and one of the workers said they split the bobble heads 250 each gate. Once we were in, there was a vender handing out bobble heads to random people. So I doubt there was a 1000 at the gates.
Professional baseball at a fraction of the cost. Its a great minor league setting in a beautiful town like Rome. Love it!
Awesome minor league stadium. Clean, spacious and affordable
Great day with our grandson!!!
Great for families. Lots of parking big bathrooms. Clean park.
Beautiful stadium. Drop In and catch a game. Has a big league feel at a small price
Love this team and the staff in all the vendor areas are fantastic.
Minor League Baseball whats there not to like, affordable tickets great seats fun and friendly staff normal priced food and we always end up with at least one foul ball and some autographs
We love the Rome braves!! The stadium is always clean and plenty of food choices.
Fun times!
Always GREAT family fun that is ALWAYS so affordable!
Great fun at the ballpark cannot be beaten! Single-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves and 2003, 2016 South Atlantic League Champions.
All seats are good. Players are friendly. Staff is very helpful and their stadium is clean.
Really nice and modern minor league ballpark with that old time baseball feeling. They hosted high school baseball plaoffs too, big hit for players and fans
Very rude staff. I did not appreciate the way I was talked to and one of the staff put his arm up against my husbands chest blocking him and raised his voice at him and he was trying to help me and doing nothing wrong for the employee to do that expect walking through the section that we were told to walk through to get to our seats. Me and my family will NOT be back.
So much fun, a fraction of the price of SunTrust and it was clean!
Kid friendly.
Great place!
Awesome ball park!
An excellent minor league park. Comfortable with good prices. Great prices compared to ML parks.
If you want to feel at home while at a stadium, check out the Rome Braves!!
Take me out to the ballgame!
The games are fun see you at the playoffs
As much fun as the other Braves games and a whole lot cheaper
