I went in on a Sunday. The lady I asked for help walked me to the section I was needing. Very friendly. I bought a planner and it was messed up so had to go back in and swap it. I also noticed I was charged wrong for a clearance item. The cashier was very friendly and gave me back the difference after I showed her the price on the peg. They were all very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back next time I’m in town.

Very nice arts and crafts store. My son was excited to see they had the Echo-1 model car. They had lots of different stencils and more to choose from. I wish we had one in my town and I didnt have to drive 30 minutes to the Rome one.

Michaels is always great, every one is always so very helpful and I always find a great deal.

I called the home office and filed a complaint about how the cashier handled my items I purchased. The manager of the store called and confronted me about my complaint. They where supposed to be holding an item for me and call me when it was time to pick the item up and the manager never did because she was mad !!

Useful but I wish they had more options paint-wise. Its a good store for the occasional craft but not a consistent hobby. Canvas usually has a good sale going on though.

Well you kinda have to love Michaels since its the only big box craft store in Rome. Wish it were open on Sunday though for the last minute things you need for a project on Monday. I really dont like that theyre closed on Sunday. Really bad decision.

The employees were super friendly and helpful. I found everything I needed. The prices are higher than other places but they consistently have good coupons online that makes them competitive with other places but there are limits and restrictions so it pays to do your research if you need more than a couple of items. Wal Mart sells some of the same stuff for a fraction of the price even with the coupons.

Great service. I had trouble finding my 50% off birthday coupon and the salesman honored it for me anyway. Its nice to shop at a place that respects and appreciates its customers.

I keep thinking Ill retire so I can finally enjoy all the different crafts or rather types of art Ive created since college and sold with friends ijn the Piedmont Arts Fair for one. I seem to move from project to project so I dont really know how to describe what I do. The past two years I spent trying to dye, an art I was taught by Doug Landrum in the mid-80s and had no idea the reward knowing about 100% wool, dye lots would reap later when women friends learned I could match anything. Unfortunately the last two years I was not using machines I thought I was. Ive just tried the new violet which is beautiful but should have retired in 2000 and cant seem to. My place is filled with different things I somehow make into art and often sell for a price that shocks me. My talent has been a Godsend as I planned on my career all my life and never dreamed of art.

VERY helpful staff. They are generally extremely knowledgeable on their products. If they do not know an answer to a question they will find someone who does and you learn together. The only negative is if youre in a hurry, during a rush time, there arent always many staff members and usually only 1 cashier open. Overall a great choice for craft stores!

Great store for many different crafts, florals and assorted home decor. If you are looking for a hobby, this is a good place to browse. Employees are always friendly and helpful. Parking and entrance is handicap accessible but store is a bit crowded and somewhat difficult to maneuver. A plus -- they often have coupons and good discounts!

One of my favorite craft stores,you can find anything under the sun, especially if you are a true crafter.The staff is always helpful,and they dont leave you standing looking like youre lost.They have a full assortment of pens,cloth,felt, coloring crayons, jewelry making kits, decorative boxes,yard, basically everything youre looking for.

Michaels is like a maze of craft projects i want to do but Im completely devoid of talent so i just wander and look at stuff and people who are capable of doing things with all the cool stuff at Michaels.The employees at this particular Michaels are always really helpful and nice. And when my husband needs some sort of craft thing (art teacher) they usually have it and teachers get discounts with their school IDs. If youre a teacher and you havent been taking advantage of that youre missing out.They also sell good candies (all variety of gummies and Lindt chocolates) and umbrellas! I bought the cutest bubble umbrella from their that i had wanted from Hunter and the Michaels one was $15 and had a coupon and the Hunter was $150 and my $15(+coupon) is just as cute.
