South Salk Park

Sth Salk Park playground by the preschool is an excellent playground for young kids (2,3 & 4) age group.Watch out for the rogue squirrel though! We brought snacks to eat and this one squirrel was super aggressive. We ended up leaving because the squirrel jumped into the stroller.Thats the only downside (and the reason for four stars) - playground lost points due to potential of catching rabies.

Neat park with awesome slides!

Fun playground and lush park. Usually easy to find parking. Only downside? This place always seems to be busy with other families, so plan accordingly!

What a great park for children of all ages under 10 ( or older that was just a guess ).This park has a couple different play structures that I have not seen at other parks. My three-year-old daughter absolutely love this place and had a blast, or course leading to her not wanting to leave, throwing a tantrum when time came to go.I found that a good judge of how entertaining someplace is for children, is to correlate your childs reaction to having to leave.

Great for baseball. Nice open fields and walking paths for dogs also.

Used To Walk This Park From Kirchoff To Algonquin Rd When I Was In School. Very Friendly People Walking By. They All Say Hi Or Good Afternoon. Today I Went Back In A Long Time To Walk My Dog There And Met A Lot Of Other Furry Friends. Nice Park, My Dog Was Really Tired Afterwards.

We had such a blast celebrating our friends the other day while our daughter ice skates for the first time (at two years old). The facility provided great assistance tools for the kiddos. The only thing I would change would be expanding the size of the party room to accommodate larger parties.

Clean and spacious facility with a swimming pool area and baseball fields.

I love the morning walks at this park, my dog and I always go up and down the hill several times and it is a great start to the day!

Great park to play baseball at or bring your kids to play on the playground. Its right behind the ice rink and pool so there is a ton to do. The kids love the playground and parking is only a few feet away so its easy getting the kids from the car to the playground.

Priya Indian restaurant is a great place to go again . Food is delicious.

Good place for kids to play. Sports complex is good for ice skating and hockey and gymnastics but too many children are left unattended and run and scream and yell making it frustrating for others.

Renovations are great. Really could do with a bathroom though.

I watch baseball, softball and fireworks here as well as taking walks with my dog. I love it here.

New park and very cool for kids, has a water fountain, park, basketball court, and benches.

Great for cross country meets except in muddy spots after rains.

Its a nice park, but annoying middle school Suburban gangs keep trying to mark it with their dumb symbols. You live in Rolling meadows, not the projects....stop.
