Spreckels is an exceptional theater showcasing live performances of all types. With excellent seating, a large comfortable lobby and plenty of parking, this performing arts center is the best in Sonoma county. I am always amazed at the variety of performances here, and can count on a memorable experience when I see something.
This is such a cute theatre(s) that provide a more cozy and intimate experience because the seating is limited to three of four rows. Being a local production and very small theatre, you might walk in prepared for an amateur show, I must say that I expected that. What I found was far and away, wonderful production with a professional cast to rival the big cities like SF and LA. In this case, less (being more Spartan stage setting), with a small cast, was so much more!
Spreckles is a wonderful theater, celebrating its 30th year in Rohnert Park! Ive been to many shows there in years past & am so very thankful to have a beautiful, local theater in which to indulge my love of musicals!!
Our family thoroughly enjoyed The Nutcracker. Wonderful dancing, costumes, and the chocolate covered popcorn (sold outside the theater) was quite good.
I love enjoying all of the performances! Staff are helpful.
Went here for the movement lab performance. Its a nice venue, simple stage and seating.
Great plays. Not expensive to attend. Kids prices. We love sitting in the front row of the mezzanine because my daughter can always see without having to sit on her knees on the chairs.
Seeing a play with my dad who is in a wheelchair was lovely as they seated us first and then let everyone else in the theatre. Lovely, intimate theatre.
Great theater, great experience. Support your local Arts!
So refreshing to have such a special local theatre to enjoy variety of productions!
Saw Cinderella the performance was outstanding. Cast was wonderful, music incredible. Sound in the building is spot on. Very enjoyable
First time going to event there. Very nice theater. Comfortable seating. The Addams Family musical was entertaining and funny. Talented cast. A very enjoyable production.
Loved it. Saw Hamlet. The snacks are reasonably priced. The theater was comfortable. The facility is gorgeous. Parking good. Cant wait to go back.
Nicely appointed community theatre an easy drive from HWY 101.
I was an usher for the performing arts center. It allowed me free access to the plays. If you want the same opportunity go talk to Roxanne in the box office. It was a no pay position however I didnt have to pay to see the show either. They also have a gym at the center. Check it out.I live close to Spreckles so I frequent it a lot. Go check it out.
Love it Everytime I go there for many different reasons people are the most friendly
I was only at the ticket booth, but it was closed. Ive seen a couple plays here and have enjoyed the performances.
I went to see South Pacific here last Sunday. The sets were nice and because of the relatively small theater every seat has a good view. During the break the line to the ladies room was a bit problematic as the line was pretty long. Its easy to get to and has ample, easy parking.
Great space, lots of parking, easy to find.
The Codding theatre is a nice size, has comfortable seats and provides a good view from nearly every location. My low rating is due to the freezing temperature endured during an afternoon performance yesterday. We were told the heat could not be turned on due to roof work. Thats understandable but it would have been very helpful if signs were posted explaining the situation and we had been informed when purchasing tickets so we could have come prepared with heavy coats or blankets. I have often been cold viewing performances in the smaller theatre at Spreckles, but yesterday really affected our ability to enjoy the show. Bring extra layers just in case!
Went to watch my nieces performance great place
Love this place! Great play the Adams Family. Wonderful performance!
Good Little Theatre. Friendly staff
Medium size, comfortable, good air conditioning, however, limited parking.
Not a bad seat in the house. They serve drinks and snacks.
Great theater. Professional management and affordable programming.
Enjoyed a dance program
The Founders Day Parade ended here. They put on a nice little venue.
I want there to watch a live play of Little Women book Little Women and it was so much fun its just a little tiny theater and they were so good you got to try it out sometime
High quality community theater. Adams Family was hilarious and well performed.
Nice big parking lot with health club and other things to do.
Excelent atmosphere
Movement lab is just outstanding
Nice venue to watch performances
The show was great, the lighting was great, I practically grew up performing here and I was great, the venue is great, and my experiences here have all been GREAT.
Wonderful venue. . Great seats, fantastic performers. We will be back.
The theatrical quality is pretty good for a local theater; great place to come to catch an inexpensive local show.
Went to support the Miss Sonoma County, Miss Outstanding Teen and the Princess Program Scholarship programs!
Weve been coming here for years. The backstage is wonderful for performers, seats are comfortable. Wish they took cards for snack bar during breaks.
Decent for a community center! Great way to introduce the young ones to performance art! Theres always something local going on.
Lovely site for County Wide Obedience and Rally trials!
All seats have anywhere from a Good view to Great!
Excellent place to watch plays and dance performances. All the seats are good seats.
Great for many things .. You can watch theater or even go to rhe gym and take classes
Always nice preferences and beautiful
Watched South Pacific. Great performances
NOT ADA compliant - My family recently went to see a Sunday matinee performed in the smaller Condiotti Theatre. This theatre is open seating, which is first come first served for seating. We got there early because a member of our party is disabled and walks with a cane and needs a handicap accessible seat. I knew from previous experience that only the front row and the 1st row of the balcony is handicap accessible, because there is no railing whatsoever going up and down the stairs to the 2nd and 3rd level of the balcony. When we entered the theatre, ALL the handicap accessible seat were reserved for a group from Oakmont, who were not handicapped. We had to sit on the 2nd level with much difficulty. A handicapped woman behind me on the 3rd level had to lean on my shoulder to get down the steps. I think it is quite dangerous to force handicapped people to climb stairs with no rail, due to their current policy of reserving the accessible seats behind-the-scenes for groups who do not need them, but want front row seats.
See a show! these folks do a great job!
Great people, great stage, great everything!
Great production, a bit pricey but worth it
Wonderful venue for live music.
