This was one of the most fun local activities Ive ever done. My group of 4 got through the course in under 3 hours, opting to do the more difficult options when available. This was the first time for all of us and we had a blast. Staff was super friendly. The Tarzan swing will definitely wake you up! Cant wait to go back.

My husband and I went to this place on July 14/2019. We had a wonderful time and the place is amazing. Unfortunately if you are someone like me who will need some encouragement and have a little of fear pray to be assigned with a different person than the one we had! He kept asking me if I wanted to stop at every step of the way after letting me to be the first one to go which took all my chances of learning from a person ahead of me of course! He walked away at some point and the young lady with him was so nice and guided me a long way building my confidence and telling me what to expect and how to do them the easy way and so. He came back and I lost it and gave up:( I asked to return/stop and on my way back still at the top he kept asking me all sorts of questions.I told him if he could let me focus and wait until I am at the ground. All the other staffs that we met were welcoming though. Long story short, there was this guy in our team who knows all the tricks but He didnt start interfering in helping me until all my confidence was damaged! Which actually disappointing because I realized I could have enjoyed our adventure more had it been a good guider assigned. On the good side though, I ended up taking a lot of pictures while my husband passed through all the steps:). We are planning to visit the other locations for more better experience now that my husband knows all the tricks:)

A good outdoor activity, you can enjoy with a group. 1 thing that they dont mention on their website, which you should probably know is that there are no instructors on top of the trees! This makes the whole experience even more satisfying, because by the time you complete the first couples of zones, you feel more confident.Watch out for the skateboard zip line, it was one of the most best things I have ever done :)

THE BEST AND MOST FUN YOU CAN HAVE FOR THE PRICE.Go, just go there with your friends and family and you find that you love overcoming and fear that heights may cause you.I am not the biggest fan of heights but when you start climbing and zip lining, you will find the adrenaline and fun outweigh the fear.I recently went this last weekend and found that it was everything I hoped and more. The staff gives you a safety briefing that is thorough and they do not rush you. Your guide stays with you for the first few obstacles and then other crew closely monitor the goers through other obstacles. There is never a time that you feel left 100% unattended navigating the course. The training lesson sticks with you throughout the obstacles. The obstacles include long zip lines, traversing in air steps and rings. You can choose harder obstacles or a lesser an easier to some obstacles. They did a fantastic job creating the course. The equipment is easy to use and they reiterate to always stay attached (which makes more sense when you are there). The equipment is in good shape and you genuinely do feel safe navigating the course while the adrenaline is still flowing.I strongly recommend this place as a great thrill filled good time!#GoApe

Worth the price, we spent over three hours and loved it. Got up high enough to see eagles nest once. We are going every year now. Sign up same day for best weather. Rather go without heavy coats. So glad my kids were young enough to need an adult with them, so I had to go! Great activities to do while waiting. Water available all along the course. Nice safety features and monitoring for compliance. We came down starving, and its in a nice park with picnic tables, so in the future Ill have the picnic ready! Some of the best fun Ive had!

When we first got there it was a bit awkward. We filled out paperwork, but werent given an estimate of how long until we would begin. It took a while. The instructions and demonstrations were good. We kept running into other groups and had to wait until they finished. It was okay, but not worth the high price.

Really great instructor, Lucus, was fun and made sure all of us were safe. Good for families and groups with novices because anything that was tough had an easy option or very prominent warning. The air was fantastic and tons of zip lines. My favorite was the one that goes over a road.

Lindsey the instructor would personally receive a higher overall rating. This is the second location weve done a Go Ape course at. Although we had fun, it was rather disappointing to see part of the course shutdown for maintenance while we were there. Makes me wonder how much of the course theyre allowed to shutdown and still charge full price. I would probably be willing to go back when the entire course is open again but will be calling ahead to find out if it is.

A better value for fun vs. time you could not ask for. Training was great and the mixed parties naturally tended to space themselves out. We were never waiting for anyone as we moved throughout the course. Amazing fun! If you are thinking about going, JUST GO! GO APE, that is. :)

Horrible set up with regards to customer service. No indication about booking early. Have been to other Go Apes and we were able to walk in. Arrived at 130 on a Friday after 2 hour drive and sign said open Thry ttell us they dont have the people to give briefs. Ended up going to Sandy Springs Adventure Park. Only anther 10 minutes down the road. Much more pleasant and accommodating.

We drove all the way from Southern Bethesda to Gaithersburg for the zip lines adventures and talked and discussed with the office about my husband having three children all of a sudden when we arrived there was a limitation of two children per one adult. So you can only imagine how disappointing it was for the third child not to be able to go. Meanwhile there was a not little kids. Those are all 11 and 12 year olds with lots of experience and zip-lining went in other parks. So we turned around and went to Sandy Spring for the Twilight special of only $39 per adult and there were able to accommodate all of the kids and all of the adults

Some observations:Derick, the instructor was excellent! Very observant. He should be your trainers trainer. The slope of the landing was too significant. Im not a very heavy woman, so Im not sure if this is a factor or not, but I can tell you that the landings were too fast and a girl about 16 years old got a sprain from trying to stop herself from the landing. She was highly experienced, as she told me of about four other zipline parks she goes to. I didnt mind the heights, the climb.. The landings were the worst! This was the scariest part and it shouldnt have been. To be clear, I wasnt worried about the nets. I was worried about getting slammed at the bottom of a course. As a result, I will NOT be recommending your course.Sorry!

One of the most fun & challenging times Ive had in a while. Im a bit scared of heights, but once I got up on the platform, I felt safe and ready to tackle the challenge in front of me. YOU HAVE TO GO APE! Ive been to plenty of ropes & zip line courses...nothing compares to Go Ape!

I am older and would disagree with the statement that if you can climb a rope ladder that you can do this. MAYBE if you can climb a rope ladder MANY times, you can. We were exhausted by the time we were done. We may not be in the best of shape, but we both hike and are active. The humidity didnt help, but at least we finished!

Whod thought that the Brits (yep, Go Ape is a British franchise!) would put together such an awesome high ropes course!Ive been ziplining 4-5 times and Go Ape is one of my favorites. Its a legit high ropes course where you go from site to site via zipline and in between, there are all kinds of obstacles including some challenging walkways and a TARZAN SWING INTO A NET :) Theyve added a new section where you traverse over the road, and then zipline back over it!I like that they have water jugs at each stockade so folks can stay hydrated. And theres also a picnic/BBQ area and a firepit (bring your own firewood). The only thing I didnt like (that most people prob wont care about) is they dont allow inversions. Its a safety thing which I can sort of understand; but meh, its much more fun inverting.
