This business has no integrity, honor, or respect. Hidden fees, no route for open communication, and they took money from customers during Covid without giving them a way to contact CAL family fit to get it back. Absolutely selfish, greedy, and broken moral compass company.

Probably the largest California Family Fitness in the area has all amenities. Lots of parking and extremely long hours. Pricey and you have to buy into a contract.

I’ve been a member for about 5 years now, with a 1 year gap. Great staff, and location! Where they lack, is in the weight and cardio area. Much of the equipment is dilapidated and very worn. Some of the barbells are bent, which is inherently dangerous. Please, invest in new bars and collars!

Great facilities and inexpensive

I have been going here to play soccer for the last 3 years now and have had nothing but good experiences with the morning crew that works there. Have had some issues here and there with my membership but it has always been taken care of. I mainly come to this location for the basketball and soccer but as of late I have been going to workout as well and have had nothing but a good experience with that as well. I would definitely recommend this location to friends.

I want to make sure that those that are trusting of people and companies in general are well informed. Let me tell you what happened with my experience at Cal Fit and you can judge for yourself whether you want to be a member in their institution.First, after I signed up, I was called, emailed and even text messaged, several times a week to sign up for additional services. I requested they stop contacting me, they did not. I had to mark their emails as spam and put a block on all their phone numbers to stop the calls and text messages.We signed up for swim lessons for our son. Four, during the summer of 2018 if I am remembering correctly. We were told they were at a certain time and given a schedule. We did not realize that the final class was an hour earlier than the previous three classes and did not show up on time. We asked if there was anyway it could be rescheduled. The person at the front desk told us they would have a manager call us. We never received a call.Be SURE to read the entire contract. In fine print, they indicate they are going to charge you $50 extra every year for a Club Enhancement Fee. While this was my fault for not noticing, I would never have thought to look for this in the contract which does not include it in the initial price or communicated at sign up. I will accept responsibility, but I want to make sure others read everything.Further, when you try to cancel, it was pointed out that the contract is worded as such, I understand that on my Anniversary Date, as set forth above, my membership will automatically be converted to a month-to-month membership at the rate(s) in effect on my Anniversary Date. When this occurs, I may cancel the membership at anytime by providing a written notice and making one final monthly payment to: California Family Fitness, P.O. Box 2350, Orangevale, CA 95662. Again, its the one final payment to Cal Fit I did not quite catch. I am no longer a member but I have to pay for the month of July/August anyway. This oddly feels like a processing/start-up fee which they supposedly waived because of a promotion...Just know that, when you sign up for this agreement, all these fees and charges are there. Its sad that companies bury this in fine print. Ive now spent $184.99 on items I wasnt expecting. I will never consider being a part of their institution ever again.

Calling me after 8pm several times a week, when I havent been a member for over 5 years. Send me a flyer, call me once, but incessant and poorly timed calls is not how you get me back. Ps, I do yoga and life heavy kids, I dont need your jungle gym.

Been a member for 5 years. Recently cancelled because of personal reasons. I now once a while come to drop in soccer to get to play and see old friends. The problem is the ridiculous 10 dollars fee. 10 dollars to kick a ball for 30 or 45 min. I remember it used to be 5 dollars back when i was a member (,of course i didnt habve to pay at the time) which is fair even though I think it should be even less. At Mahany park they play full football field for 5 bucks I mean come on. Its good to make money but its better to keep customers happy and gain their fidelity. I propose to drop the fee from 10 to 5 at least. Not because nobody can afford 10 but because its just ridiculous for an hour of kicking a ball. Thank you.

Basketball courts cannot be used by members because Cal Fit rents them out to non-members, soccer teams and trainers 5 days a week. When I complained I was told to use a different Cal Fit Facility - and even told in an email from their main office that they need the revenue so will provide for the renters over members.

This place is a joke, sports are inherently dangerous, but the refs make it worse by doing a terrible job of controlling the game and protecting players. I had my ribs broken and dislocated, and was on the ground trying to breathe when the ref said to stop acting, on top of making no call against the player that slide tackled the goalie(me) already on the ground with the ball. complaints to management go unheard and weekly fights are occurring because of it. Yet we see the same referee week after week.Good luck if you play there, it’s made me want to stop playing recreational sports completely for fear of injuries thanks to the poor management.

I have lost 2 balls here. When I talked to the people at the front desk, they told me they coudnt do anything, and told me to buy a new ball. Once they told me to ask the maintenance manager, and I asked to speak with him, and they said they didnt know who he was or how to contact him. I hope they fix the problem, because the balls were expensive and I would like this back before I can give a five star review, come here more often, and tell my friends to come.

Sexual harassment alert! Discrimination alert!I have been a member of Rocklin Warren Drive CFF for 12 years, 2 of my boys were practically raised in kid care. I have brought staff fruit, cookies and candy over the years, purchased merchandise. I am clean, modest, fitness loving woman who actually likes to not be a bother and workout to close to people to give them space. I am friends with many of the instructor, elderly people, fellow moms and long term staff there. I get daily high fives from other members saying that I am the most influence they ever had there and that they find me inspirational. They said my smiles and kindness come through. Today I was emotional abused and have never felt so unsafe in my life. The manager Nick Duncan told one of their staff members named Megan a newer employee flag me down after exercising during one of the slowest hours of the day. I do my cardio where I never even have a neighbor and find mats in the body dumbbell area after women have already left. Megan when on to tell me that the manager didnt like me breathing. I immediately asked to speak to manager and felt crushed and confused. Nick Duncan (the manager) when on to meet with me and he told me he was offended by my breathing and didnt want me to breathe basically. I immediately felt threatened and I have never been sexual harassed like this in all my 12 years of being a member there. He made me feel like a sexual object! This is where I go for my peace of mind workout and I consider this place a sanctuary for me. I am having extreme anxiety now and I feel like this location is not safe and CFF doesnt protect its members.

Awesome gym. Full complement of free weights with room for everyone to exercise. Full cross fit section. Full basketball court and volleyball and soccer field indoors. Second story of cardio equip and a lounge area.

I LOVE THIS COMPLEX! AMAZING PEOPLE AND AN EVEN GREATER OPS MANAGER!!! JOE KLONT IS AMAZING!!!

I have no idea why anyone would not love this place! The staff is very helpful and welcoming and even hold the door for you. They are very patient and fun with your children in child care. For my youngest, she runs in so excited to see everyone especially her favorite Lorenne. I guess you could say one downfall is they are a bit smaller then the other child cares at other cal fits but they do venture out on the sometime empty fields to play.Secondly, everything is very clean and its well organized and open space.I would say only problem is no pool! But not sure how they could add one with the two soccer fields and two indoor basketball courts! Hopefully they figure out some way!toadssoondo it...

Dissappointed. Hidden fees and terrible communication. I would spend many hours trying to figure out my account, managers not calling me back. The managers are terrible. The only bonus is their amenities.

This gym is just horrible. They charge you $50, and that is way too much for this place. The staff is so so bad. The guys are complete tools. They arent friendly to anyone but the hot girls and heavy lifters. The people that sold me my membership was a complete tool. He tried to tag me with $115 a month for personal trainer fees which he didnt even ask. I had to ask for a receipt of the contract i signed.They didnt ask me what membership i was looking at, charged me for one, i wanted another one, and they didnt cancel my first transaction. I am still waiting for them to reimburse me for what they owe me. ONly reason i go there is because its down the street from me. It is a horrible place, and i dont recommend anyone going there.

I went in this afternoon to see if id change location and was really disappoin. The front desk personell was useless. I asked where the womens locker room was and I barely understood that he said the bathroom as he flailed his arm gestering in the direction of around the corner. I had to ask two parents because I had no idea what he said. Youd think since Im asking for the locker room the front desk personell would give me a quick run down of where things were located they never did. The rest of the staff didnt bother either as I kept walking around trying to figure out other exits to leave instead of taking the long way around. They need a map on the various leaves telling you where exits, aerobics room, locker and bathroom are. The layout of the building is awkward.

The read head girl at the front was very rude.

Terrible business practice they have going on, they charged my card twice after I cancelled my membership.

Their contract and cancellation policies are not well explained and some staff themselves dont understand them.

Joined again after quitting and joined another gym. The other gym not at calfit level.
