Historically important building in Rockford. Nice display of veteran memorabilia. There is a auditorium with balcony used for performances and other civic events.
Love it, best-kept secret for Veterans, family and the surrounding communities. Lots of Armed Services history, there is so much more. Visit the Arts too in April, see local Veterans Art that incorporates their Character...Come see, do not take my word for it.
I liked getting the opportunity to see the major and a few other important speakers/people that are looking out for the community and helping to keep it safer than it has been.
I had no idea this was even here! What an awesome tribute to our soldiers past, present and future!
Im a musician, and I was hired to play a banquet here.Pros: Good size venue, the staff was very friendly, and I LOVED that it seemed to be at least 100 years old, and true to era, yet well kept.Cons: The banquet hall is up a flight of stairs, and theres no freight elevator, just stairs and a regular elevator shared with the public. All things considered if I was hired to play there again I would look forward to coming back.
A special place with a lot of history. Must see is the upstairs auditorium. Well maintained.
Scott and the staff at Memorial Hall are extremely professional and courteous. I held my wedding here and Scott did everything that he could to make the experience special for us. There is a civil war museum within the Hall and the decor is breathtaking. A great place to hold an event or party! Highly recommended!
Great visit for its historical prominence. Dedicated in 1903 and houses local military items on display. A great place just to visit and houses several veterans organizations that meet there
The program I attended for Black History Month was excellent, I really have to find time to go back and explore the exhibits.
Awesome place a lot of History there we had lunch there awesome food
Nice displays of local veteran memorabilia and stories, some at the national level.
A lot of history. Dedicated by President Teddy Roosevelt in 1903.
Built in 1902 to commemorate the veterans of Winnebago County. Nice museum. We saw a concert in the hall, sat in the balcony. Seating is old but ok. Floor area was seating and for dancing. Great time.
Was here for meeting. Beautiful and fascinating building.
Nice place to explore
Its great to have a place like this in Rockford. Its so historic and yet useful. Its a museum, its a place to hold events, a place to learn. It holds veterans offices in the lower level and an auditorium upstairs. Scott and is staff are awesome!
Beautiful place full of local veteran history
Love the space. Needs better restroom facilities.
The Pokemon gym is a great place to raid or put your Pokemon in for a day or even just a few hours. They also tend to have a lot of spawns in this area.
Definitely worth a visit.
A trip down memory lane. Easy access, clean and friendlyb

Nice displays that represent our vets...
Charming building, quiet atmosphere, mediocre displays. Cool place, but not a whole lot to offer.
Beautiful place to visit, and the concert there was very enjoyable as well

Rockford memorial Hall is a great place to spend a morning or afternoon. Scott Lewandowski does a great job managing the place. General John Borling, a great american hero, has many personal items on display. I salutethe General, a must see.
