Great last night of the drive in series by a true class act establishment. Truly needed a break from current events. This town is so lucky to have such a great franchise that rises above and beyond the call of giving back to the community
Naomi Silver, Dan Mason and the WHOLE RED WING CREW need to be commended for their perseverance and creativity in keeping the Red Wings viable during this pandemic. My family and I just came from a delicious meal that we ate on the field-table was clean, waiting for us, food was amazing! As always!Highly recommend this.See you again soon, Red Wings!
I saw on the news that you wont be allowed to violate social distancing guidelines by hosting graduations. I was sympathetic for the students and didnt completely agree with the governor stopping it from the way the news presenting the story...until the spokesman said it was a problem for your profits. You sell baseball not graduations. You shouldnt charge for hosting in the first place. I am writing this to remind myself to personally cut your profits by boycotting your greediness and hopefully enlighten others to do the same. Try respecting the lives of others instead of profiting from peoples suffering.
Had dinner on the diamond yesterday and it was a lot of fun. Missing the games a lot this year so it was a nice thing to get a view of the field you usually dont see. Job well done Red Wings.
We really enjoyed the Dinner on the Diamond event. While not the same as seeing a game, the Wings worked hard to create a fun evening for fans. It was really cool to eat on the field and see a replay of a previous years game.
Weve always enjoyed coming to the wings stadium, and joining in as a fan family. We especially loved Dining on the Diamond during this undefeated season of 2020!
The Rocn Drive In was a great experience. KEEP IT UP!
Games are always fun, with covid19 its been hard with not having it! Love that they are doing outdoor dinners on the field! It was awesome!!
Watched my Grandsons graduation here from rsd. Was very impressive!
Great people. Great Stadium. Easy to get around and not a bad view in the place.
RocN Drivein was lots of fun for the family. It would have been nice to have a larger food selection, but given the circumstances I understand. Anywho, it was a good time and they should do this every year!
We had a great time at the drive in. My kids were too young to stay for the second movie
Great customer service and great idea to have people dine on the field!!!! Overall, it was an awesome experience....Go Redwings!!!!
This is ROCHESTER!!!Best place ti enjoy a fun family outing. Generally hit games on summer holidays..LOTS of things going on for the kids. Definitely enjoyed the option for kids to run the bases after the game! Fireworks & baseball go hand in hand. Food options are decent. Beer/Wine/Liquor prices are questionable for what you get serving wise...
Had a great time at the citys drive in movie venue during the pandemic!
An excellent night, fantastic ballpark food!
Even if youre not a baseball fan, this very clean park is a popular night out. They do a great job mixing in some fun sideline things for kids or those who arent that into the game. Lots of good food options are an extra bonus.
I love it. Dont get wrong.. I love a good grand experience at a big league stadium.. but there is nothing like a down to earth, home town experience. The Redwings is Rochester. I have come to love Rochester as my home and being at their baseball games has never made me feel more inclusive. From the garbage plates to the train passing by in the outfield.. this is home.
I really enjoy going to ballgames at this park. It has a Major League Feel too it, with Minor League prices. I have always found the games to be enjoyable, and the change of side entertainment is always nice. They do so many great promotions, and help out so many local organizations it is truly amazing!
Frontier Field is a great place to see the Rochester Red wings play baseball. my group happened to be gifted some excellent seats but in actuality there is probably not a bad seat in the house. Its a nice little ballpark with great views of good quality baseball games. The food and beverage options, though pricey like most stadiums, are also excellent here.
Always a great time and the staff is the best.
Rochester has great summers. An evening at the ball park is always special. Great food. Great beer. And it wont break the bank.
Perfect size ballpark for Rochester. Good experience every time. Concessions are good but can be costly.
Lucky to have such a nice stadium here. Great games. Family fun great prices
Friendly and well designed park. It is rather large and the seats themselves are better than most other stadium seats. The walkways between levels are wide, which is great. The stadium features good views. The only suggestion Id have is to better utilize the outfield with some general admission tickets or something as it provides a good view that no one uses as all those with buffet tickets stick to the far corners and no one else is allowed back there.
Spent the day with my youngest son. Memories!
Dinner on the Diamond was fun!
The food is always good and the fireworks are the best I have ever seen. Plus the Red Wings are having a good year.
Great dinner it was fun
Grand children loved the free hat day, dipping does and all the excitement of the game. Fireworks show was the icing on the cake.
The ballpark and the entertainment are good but I wish they win more often
Great seats except for the bees. They need to spray and get rid of them. Got stung as soon as I sat down.
We always love coming to Frontier Field for a Red Wings game! So much fun.
Fantastic prices for parking and tickets. Food and beer prices arent crazy, especially for dollar days for Wednesday games. Cant beat one dollar hot dogs, peanuts, and cracker jacks! Fun fireworks after most weekend and Friday games. Plus they are always changing things up and keeping it fresh with different theme nights and giveaways. If you like baseball, its worth taking in a Rochester Red Wings game!
Nice small AAA baseball venue - nice variety of eats and drinks.
Best value in town. Always entertaining.
An amazing experience a great place to bring your family or gather with friends for a good time. the only thing I wish they did have is some history and pictures of the old stadium which was located on Norton Street called Silver Stadium. The food I feel is a bit pricey but definitely worth it.
Beautiful stadium, good food choices. Easy to get to and from.
Always a fun night out at the ball game. One of those summer traditions you have to enjoy at least once each summer. The fish fry on Friday nights was surprisingly good-- with the fish being excellent beer batter style-- but the french fries had sat a little too long under the fish by the time we got them. Still, the food options are varied and can satisfy just about everyone, and theres always the traditional fare of peanuts and hot dog! (and for my friends, a beer. )
Food choices could be better but always a good time at the old ball game.
Redwings games are always fun. Food was the best
Not a bad seat in the stadium, home town baseball at its best
We went for Y night and it was a really great time! love the redwings!
Awesome time. Fore works too.
I’ve always loved going to the Rochester Red Wings games at Frontier Field Stadium while growing up. Unfortunately, my feelings towards this place have suddenly changed drastically, especially after today! One of my best memories I have was how good their pretzels always were, and now they taste absolutely horrible. Not sure what changed, but they basically taste worse than Wegman’s pre-made freezer box pretzels now. A complete rip-off in my opinion, maybe you could charge $5 for a homemade pretzel and be ok, definitely not worth the $$$ for what they serve us anymore. Today, I went into the Stadium as it was raining, and my Mother asked me to go out to get a couple umbrellas from her vehicle. As I made it back to the exit, there were signs everywhere saying “NO RE-ENTRY”. I was completely baffled by this, but luckily the rain finally held up and we could all stay dry for the most part. As the game went into the 7th inning, I wanted to go grab myself a coffee and have a quick smoke. I also wanted to ask someone about the “Bark In The Park” days at Frontier Stadium. I’ve always wanted to bring my Dog to one of these events, and I think he’d love it too. As I was taking a gander around the premises, I found a couple Security guards sitting around that I thought I could ask. The one Security guard acted like I was bothering him, and he quickly responded by saying it already happened, and that I missed this event. The other Security guard then said that they were having another “Bark In The Park” event on July 2nd. Though, he also said it is very restricted to where we can and can’t bring the dogs in the park. The restrictions were just too much, either under the tents or in the grass. No bleachers?! Are you serious? There’s no sense in bringing a dog to a game if you pay for seats and can’t even sit in the stands you payed for to watch the game. They said their restrictions are in place because of lawsuits (that probably never even happened), because they don’t want anyone getting bit. My Sister said they do events just like this at other fields around the Country without these asinine restrictions. So basically, we are making rules up now based on something that never happens, that could possibly happen. Then I got an attitude from them when I asked where I could go to smoke. I was told I can’t, and that the laws here have changed which is completely absurd! I was able to smoke there last year, and the year before, and every other time I went there before that. Now they are treating me like I’m some damn criminal for just smoking a cigarette. It was completely ridiculous how I was treated today. I smoke, and I am not the only one out there that does. I reassured these two Security guards that this company is obviously loosing business due to their ridiculous new policies, policies that made me want to leave pretty much instantly! This place used to be packed full of people every game that I went to as a kid, and I could not believe how many empty seats there were today. I’d have to give this place now ... people still smoke, get over it!!! Just give us back a little space for smokers to smoke! Some people grew up around smokers, and some people don’t plan on quitting. Or maybe you can just take away all of the alcohol sales if you truly want to make it fair for everybody, since I quit drinking and I don’t want to be around that damn booze!!!
Pretty good selection of eats and drinks at a AAA stadium.Parking - good luck with that. . . .Fireworks on Friday nite after the game so thats cool!
Always love a good game and a dog.
Fun, cant wait till next year
Great experience. Lots of positive energy
Always a great nite.
Great views from any seat. Excellent concessions. Open spacious airy seating in a nice safe well-lit location of the city. Superb fireworks. A wonderful Rochester asset.
The best place to be for Baseball, fun, food, music, drinks,. The staff is amazing. Come and enjoy yourself. Lots of different things to see and do. You wont be disappointed., Dont forget to cheer for the Rochester NY Redwings. Spikes and mitsy is there too. Also the cleaning crew keeps the stadium nice.
One of our favorite family friendly places to go here in Rochester. Great seats anywhere in the stadium and at great prices. When you want baseball, hot dogs and more, Red Wings stadium at Frontier Field is a home run for your whole family!
Nice minor league park
ALWAYS THE BEST!! Now a new concession with many craft beers... The Dugout on the first base side almost to the end of the concourse.
Love love love this park and the team. Best food of any local ball park, lots of fun promotions too. Even better when the Wings win.
A community owned AAA baseball team. Farm team for the Minnesota Twins. When the franchise was first opened the field was inside the city (I dont remember the street). The second stadium was on Norton Street and called Silver Stadium where the farm team went from the St Louis Cardinals to the Baltimore Orioles. This stadium has some nice architecture, is easy to get around, plenty of bathrooms, good seating and good baseball. At the geographic center of Monroe County, its easy to get to, plenty of parking, police on site for safety in crossing. cant go wrong with the ticket prices either!
Got to see clayton pitch
Nice place for a family outing.
Great place to watch a game.
It was a good time. Had fun at the concert. Sorry did not go there for a baseball game. Great place though
Wow great family oriented experience, clean facility, easy to get in and out of, lots of parking at 5 to 6 dollars. Great seats at very reasonable prices!!! Loved our time there!!!
Its always fun at the game!
Fun for families and kids️. Wish players were more interactive with young fans.
Nice, family fun experience. Not overpriced.
Beautiful stadiums. Great staff. Awesome box seats. Roomy stadium seating. Friendly local atmosphere.
Best sport to watch in Rochester, particularly from a family environment standpoint. You can always catch a deal on tickets as well. In 2018 they have said they will continue to play as the Rochester Plates during all of their Thursday games.
Great for a night out. Lots of food & drink options in the park. Love watching the baseball.
Best AAA baseball anywhere. Menu options for every taste and great family fun.
It was very cold that day wish we would of won. Left early because it was too cold
Great place to catch a game, as expected food and drink prices are out of this world.
Love going to watch the redwings play. Pretty good food selections for a ballpark. Love the fireworks after the game!
Best baseball experience for the dollar!
Wonderful minor league ball park. Lots of food choices. Relaxed atmosphere.
Found our great seats. Cant wait until next season
Wonderful modern facility. Great views of the field. Lots of food choices.
Always want the wings to win and the plates is a nice theme
A great family - friendly venue - loyal fans, but not drunken ones - reasonable prices - excellent food
Love Minor league games. Reasonably priced, easy access to players, a fun time.
1st class organization! Nothing minor league about how Mr. Mason & company run things.
Always a good time for family for low $. Food is best part. Always stop at Red Osier. Got the new trash can this year.
Frontier Field is a great venue for watching baseball. And, given the Red Wings are AAA, the cost is reasonable.
These games are always fun to go to very in with the crowds and you get a wonderful game to.
Best value for a sporting event in town!
The stadium is showing age but its fun
I love the Red Wings at Frontier. This is the best entertainment value in sports. A real hometown favorite.
