I went to get a tattoo on somewhat short notice. My mistake.!!!! Dave was a good conversationalist, but my tattoo took 4 hrs and cost $350. I have been told I got ripped off, but not having a lot of experience getting tattooed, I paid the price financially and with the quality of work done. My lines are not straight at all and areas are not filled in all the way. I will not go back even to get the tattoo fixed for free. I will live with the mistake.

Just had a cover up done and the work was excellent. Was told to expect to return for some possible touch ups and was given a reference on what to.use to ensure that the tattoo heals properly. Will be back and and will refer to friends and family.

Dave was very nice .. horrible atmosphere ... not for tattooing was my sisters 21st me her and our other sister got matching tattoos lol not matching horrible actually but very simple tattoos .. very unprofessional dirty ... can’t believe my sister didn’t walk out when she walked in and looked tools aren’t even kept sanitary there in a mechanic tool box . Food out seems he can do great but not straight lines ... have to pay to have re done else where will never go back

Dave is a humble artist that cares about giving you a good tattoo. He always makes sure that you get what you want. I first contacted him back in March of 2018 on a Sunday night at 8:30, and within 5 mins he messaged me back. I was blown away by how quickly he wanted to start working on me. Other places said it would take weeks to get in. He always makes sure you are comfortable when getting tattooed. I will definitely keep coming back to him. Also Hauss does amazing tattoo work as well.

Hauss was very professional and awesome replacing my nose piercing when I lost the previous one the day before. He is very knowledgeable and used aseptic technique. I was very glad that DC Tattoo had Sunday hours and he was available. His artwork in the shop is also very impressive!Lori Davis

Im a little late on this I know, but talking about it and looking at it makes me realize I should say this so everyone can see- DO NOT get tattooed by dave. I went for small wrist tattoos, he looks at my others and pointed out flaws that werent there like oh see thats blown out! My tattoos dont come out like thatHA!Ended up getting 2 (WAY) blown out, and scared tattoos, with totally unstraight lines. Paid 100 bucks, no paperwork.I heard hauss is good, and his work looks good. Maybe he should work solo, dont let some hack job ruin your good reputation.EDIT IN RESPONSE TO OWNERno one told me to come back in?...how could anyone tell me to come back in of they never knew about my issue in the first place?How can one fix a permanent mistake?Stop trying to cover yourselfYour artist sucks get over it

Very unprofessional place. Been trying to get my tattoo complete and he has not been able to complete it. But post on their page that they have openings. I found out why because he felt uncomfortable tattooing people with a communicable disease. So he discriminated against me. So be careful when you go to this place.
