Clinton River Trail

Getting rough but still usable

I love Clinton River Trail to ride my bike and walk! I love that it is paved mostly and that they have history markers throughout the trail. It is such a scenic route and I always find myself stopping to admire the views! I love how well maintained it is!

Beautiful day for a walk. Lots of runners and bike riding

Converted into a trail from a former railroad, this trail goes for several miles crossing multiple counties for both biking and walking. There are several trailheads along the way. We use the map AllTrails to get into different trailheads each time to enjoy the vast scenary in various places. It touches Clinton river at many places making it pleasant to hike. Its our favorite trail in this area.
