Ive been going to Michaels for a long time and they still have a lot of merchandise but what I like to do best as make jewelry and Ive noticed theyve gone away down on your jewelry supplies but other than that theyve got just about anything you want. And due to the cost of living I guess through their prices have gone up but thats to be expected but if youre in the Roanoke area and you need supplies for crafts Michaels is the place to go

I really like this place. I use to shop at AC Moore all the time (because it was more convenient), however since they closed I have started shopping at Michaels. The employees are very helpful. I called them last night to see if the ribbon I wanted was in stock. Was told they had it at the store, I asked them if they could hold it for me until today and they said no problem. Really appreciated their help.

I just love to go to Michaels. I can usually find what I need. Ive found different pieces to help in fabricating a halloween costume. The staff at the one, here in Roanoke, is pretty knowledgeable with crafting of all sorts and they are helpful and friendly.

Undoubtedly the best craft store in the Valley View area, with great selection and prices! I come here to get inspired. Home decor section never disappoints. Friendly staff, GREAT sales (look online for coupons,) and best selection of beads and pendants in town!

Store was pretty well organized with not much clutter but prices are kind of high.

I always spend more than, but thats what happens when you see great deals!

So I just called customer service to get help because a canvas i purchased was ripped. They said that because it was a pack of 6 they would not replace the item. If it had been half of them damaged or more only then would they have replaced or refunded. I offered to buy the whole pack (of 6) for a discounted price (of 5) to make up for the 1 damaged one and they said they couldnt do that. I said so basically I just get a damaged item and deal with it and he said yes. As much as I order from michaels they should be trying to keep my business! Instead they make me feel like they dont care about me receiving damaged items.

Great selection of whatever craft supply you can think of and more. Very helpful and friendly.

Its a pretty cool place for arts and crafts... I was there with my wife and she was as you would say lost in space lol... I liked Michaels...

It was nice and clean and hade a lot of nice stuff but to tell the truth i love the old store better they dont have they things they did there at this store.

Sending off a picture to be framed, that department is great, always helpful and so nice. I love dealing with them. Their suggestions on color and combination are always great.

We shop here often. Typically have the items we need for our projects. Friendly, helpful service. Clean and well maintained store. The routine 40% off coupons are a bonus. We always find what we need and save money at the same time... we recommend..

I went in looking for lress board or sticky board but I didnt see it so I asked one of the associates if they had any. They had no clue what i was talking about. I even showed them a picture. She said they didnt carry it before even looking. So I went to Joanns and found it within 5 minutes

Good selection of items and I shop here regularly. No 40% off coupon to match Hobby Lobby across the street however. They give a coupon receipt good for your next trip, but no instant discount is an inconvenience

They did not have any craft paint at all. Found the package of 4 so I got that.

It was an okay trip. The aisles were filled with freight and pallets. It looked like there was a clearance special of some sort going on and that caused even more choke points. All in all the visit didnt make me really keen on visiting again anytime soon.

Wow... looking for Halloween decorations? This is the best selection I have seen outside of a Halloween store.

Lots of variety and great selection at the new, bigger store. However, theres so much that it can be hard to find what you want. Also hard to find an employee to ask without going to customer service. Staff is friendly and helpful, just hard to find.

I was so excited to see a live stream video on Facebook because I discovered that Michaels now has acrylic paint pouring medium! I had been wanting to try this, and voila!!! PS: This store is NEW and in much better shape than the place they were located. It is well stocked and organized in a way that makes sense.

Its your typical Michaels. All are about the same. Staff is hit or miss.

Great Michaels with a lot of selection. The store is always clean and organized. They do not have a large clearance section like their old location did; however, the last time I was there they did have a very small clearance section in an aisle on the right side of the store. The only con of this particular store is their new location; the shopping center that they are located in can be tricky to get in and out of during the holiday season.

Very well staffed the staff was willing to help was nice and knowledgeable with the products and questions I asked about I was doing some epoxy work trying to learn about epoxy tables with the rivers in the middle of them looking at pigment colors and the lady was knew exactly where it was and sent me on my way and was very nice

Not the best service!I asked for a particular product, and the associate told me I made a mess is the aisle before telling me where the product was. I didnt make a mess in the store it was the clearance section that was previously a wreck, and instead of showing me where the aisle was I was expected to know the store layout and spent 20min wandering around looking for it... guess all she cared about was getting me out of that section

I needed to return an item and get another. Got it and it didnt take long to get in and out. The cashier was able to do it all in one transaction and in a friendly manner

This store and its employees are phenomenal

Went to a birthday party here for my daughters friend. It was AWESOME!! The crafts seemed endless and the kids enjoyed it so much. The store has really stepped up their game as far as merchandise too. Love it!

Clean store with a nice classroom area. The crafts shown were fun and easy to replicate. The employee was kind and appreciative of the teachers who can to the craft event. She expressed her gratitude to all of them for the time and effort they put into their jobs.

A great place to find pretty much anything artsy you would be looking for. Anything from books, to sketchbooks, to writing utensils, to decorations, to wood work. Youll very rarely leave empty handed in here!

I visit here weekly sometimes daily depending in the deals and the projects I need to complete. Majority of the people who work here are friendly and helpful.

Amazing staff and very well organized store. Always have what I need and is stocked very well. Theyre never out items. Every space on the shelf is filled and If you cant find something theyre very eager to help. I refuse to shop anywhere else for my art supplies!

Friendly employees, clean store, easy to find what your looking for.

Like the new store. Getting in and out of parking is worse because its mixed with mall traffic, meaning during holidays I will visit less. Still hard to find a floor employee to ask a question. The Michaels app is nice as it has a semi-helpful map. And you can price check right from your phone. The store is clean but if youre in a wheelchair or are with someone in a wheelchair, beware its not friendly to people who cannot walk.

My favorite craft store in Roanoke! The new location is awesome and more conveniently located near Valley View Mall. They always have what Im looking for. The associates are very quick to help and will typically know exactly where to guide you for your needed item. The store looks a wee bit cramped when you first walk in, but its laid out very well. Restrooms are always clean. Classes offered are always posted for you to sign up.

Fun store to shop at. They have a bit of everything for the crafter and even a few things for the not-so-crafty. My children and I always enjoy walking around the store to look at the fun items they sell.
