Eagle ridge gymnastics is an awesome, and i mean awesome facility!!! It is cleaned everyday and their Covid-19 rules are great for social distancing. My kid loves it here and is always excited to go! The owner Brandy Wood puts so much work and care into his athletes and his gym. i highly recommend coming here. :)
Apparently the owner of this gym was the head male coach at Gold Cup Gymnastics before he decided to go out on his own. I heard that he trained Joey Hagarty, a member of the 2008 US Olympic Team that won a bronze medal. I got the feeling that this gym seemed to be more invested in the boys program than the girls. All-in-all a good gym.
I loved this place when my daughter first started gymnastics here about 4 years ago. In the last year I have stopped receiving billing statements altogether and every time I call no one answers the phone. The voicemail recording still refers to gym closures from Christmas and New Years.. it’s now March. Last Saturday I was dropping my daughter off for her class and realized that they canceled all classes for an in house competition without notifying any of the parents. Additionally, the last two performance evaluations that my child received had no information whatsoever about what she needed to focus on in order to improve her skills. This facility has become a huge disappointment.
My daughter has been attending for half the year or so. Ive had only one issue with an instructor, and when I addressed it to the Management they were very warm and helpful in the matter. Taylor, the Gym Director is a fabulous communicator and so pleasant to work with. My daughter loves this place and all it has to offer. As big as it is, they take great care in each child.
Polite and welcoming staff. My daughter loves the classes. I definitely recommend them.
They dont return phone calls or emails when you need to make a payment, then they charge you the late fee. They also tried to continue to charge me after I sent them a cancellation letter. Poor business practices.
My daughter takes the preschool class every week and loves it! She has gained so much confidence and strength. The instructors are all patient and fun with the kids. I also had a birthday party this weekend and it was a BLAST! all the kids had so much fun learning and playing on all the equipment. They cleaned up for us so double bonus!:)
Never answer phones. Over priced. Poor coaching. No individual care or attention . take your kids elsewhere.
Dont bother wasting your time trying to call and get information, they dont pick up the phone. When pigs started to fly and the heavens opened up I got them to answer once, all I got was information contradicting their website.
Best sweat bank Ive been to so far! Some of the best sweat provided in town by a mile. You can even buy sweat by the gallon, who knew! They even provide fresh loli sweat straight from the pantsu! Im in heavan!
Great place to eat, great service, great food and drinks are free with a 30$ purchase
Both my kids have been coming here a couple years now. My daughter is 8 and my son is 6... they both have a great time. From what I have seen, the coaches have all been very good and experienced. They are all great at managing the kids in their age groups, and developing their skills in proportion to their strength, flexibility, balance, etc. The owners are very responsive and care a lot about all their kids. Highly recommended!
Great Coaching, wonderful staff!I currently have 2 children attending Eagle Ridge Gymnastics. I have one child on the girls competitive gymnastics team (and has been for the past 3 years) as well as a little one in the kindergym class. From day one, I have been nothing but pleased with the coaching both my daughters have received at Eagle Ridge. The coaches are knowledgeable, friendly, and truly care about the gymnasts they coach. On the competitive team, the gymnasts are more than just a score to the the coaches and the entire coaching staff takes interest in the gymnasts. My little one recently started kinder gym and has greatly benefited from the training. Overall, the coaching is excellent and enhanced by the caring nature of the coaching staff and the owners.
The coaching isnt very good here. The coaches are always on there phones instead of coaching their gymnasts.
My son loved his first classes in the kinder class but when he later did the level 1, the instructor was rude, impatient and mean. He left upset every time and hated going. He went from loving gymnastics to hating it and not wanting to do it anymore.
Both my daughter and my son are in gymnastics here, and I couldnt be more impressed. Everyone from the coaches to the owner himself go out of their way to be supportive. Couldnt recommend it more.
I did gym here and once I got to level3 I just was only able to get one chance. But other than that it is very good
I highly recommend Eagle Ridge Gymnastics. Before they even opened, as part of the local Special Olympics team we approached the owners to see if we could use the gym for our Rhythmic Gymnastics program. They welcomed us with open arms. They even helped us start a traditional gymnastics program. My sons and several friends children have taken classes here and we have all been very happy with the way the instructors have taught our children. Brandy and Darleen have always been open to feed back on classes, instuctors, and the gym. Rio Rancho is lucky to have the Woods as community advocates.
Roxanne Waggoner is an awesome, inspiration, and caring coach. Not to mention a fantastic and wonderful human being.
This is a nice facility, but thats because they charge alot of money and have way too many kids in the gym at one time. They are more concerned about money and appearances than they are about safely educating children in the sport of gymnastics. This is a also a boy specific gym! Boys coaches have gymnastics experience, the girls coaches do not, and there is alot of turnover among coaches. Girls competative team frequently gets kicked off the floor by the boys competative team. There is extremely poor communication among coaches, and parents, not to mention unprofessionalism by the owners. Do yourself a favor and find another gym that cares about the kids, communicates with parents, and treats everyone (boys and girls) with the same respect!
I want to put my 5yr. in gym. I call the number is disconnected and the web page has been shut down! now arguing with groupon to get my money back cuz no one there to teach!!!!!
Facilitiy is not the cleanest. To many kids for one teacher.
My son loves gymnastics at Eagle Ridge.
Cool
