The park itself was great, but some people werent being very careful about coronavirus. The one guy was wearing a mask and then drank out of the water fountain. One woman sneezed without a mask. And there was an entire family feeding the ducks bread despite the numerous signs.People really have to get a grip. The park itself was good. My 7-year-old man had a great time
Very nice n clean like the rest of the park. People in dog park were self distance
Beautiful and quite place to relax and take a walk.
Great place to take the family
Good place to spend time especially during the week because it is not so crowded, but otherwise it pretty good all the time
Great dog park!
Only park around ... water situation is terrible, but #2 bags provided. Two fenced, sandy areas for small and LARGE doggos. Great for a quick runaround for our dog to release some excess energy.
Its a fine dog park and people overall are fine .There will always be aloof people at every dog park but the occurrences here are rare and people keep a good eye on their dogs. The rest of the park is nice as well
Great bike park and bike trails.
Nice dog run separate sections for big and small dogs. My dog got slobbered on. I was freaking out, she was fine. Will be going back often.
Great park. On the small side. Friendly people
Super cool dog park I used to bring my pup yoda here but he has since passed away but he was sort of crazy so its cool. There is a pen for large and small dogs. Also my friend Doug tried to kiss me here..... Not cool man. But still a great place for dogs.
We have a Great time with my family
Great dog park lots of friendly people
Doggo
My dogs love this park.
Okay. Not ideal for tiny dogs. They have small dog area. Unfortunately the dogs in the small dog area tend to be larger than the suggested size. Also owners tend not to watch their dogs. Meaning dont bring your dog in or just prepare to leave early when it is not safe for your dog.
Loved it, our puppy Rocky had a great day playing with the other pups!
Great place to exercise my dog! Just wished other owners would clean up better!
Fairly good place, high fence. Awesome place to let dogs play with each other, but no training places and stuff
Quiet place during weekdays during the workday. Crazy with dogs after work and weekends. Clean place but too many retractable leashes.
Always lots of pups, fresh water
Theres 2 separate bog areas.1 enclosed area for large dogs and another enclosed area for small dogs.Water fountain and restrooms.
Cute dogs to stare at. I dont even own a dog. Good place to pick up some dogs real quick before owners yell at you.
I like watching the dogs play and walking around the pond. Its relaxing
This park has a nice size kids play area.
Hi please let me know about this and I hope you feel better soon and we will see that mohsen
Solid dog park. Nothing special but no real problems
Dogs love it. There are separate sides for large and small dogs.
Great place to bring your dogs
Great for dogs to hang out and get to know each other,
Beautiful, safe and you can take your dog there
Awful. Dog owners do not pay attention to their dogs. My dog was cornered by growling dogs and got him to the ground. No one came to get their dogs off of my dog. Extremely scary
Nice park good area even more nicer people
Nice park
Okay dog park. Unfortunately, dog parks are few and far between in bergen county....but compared to others Ive been to this one is just sad. There are two adjacent parks that are basically caged dirt plots. One for large dogs the other for small. No grass or pavement so it can get unusable if it rains due to mud. No seating except for one sad worn-down bench in the large dog part.A water fountain is nearby but often doesnt work. Many of the dogs that come here are unbelievably vicious and the owners laugh it off.Generally I wont bring my golden in unless there is 1 or 2 other friendly dogs otherwise he gets attacked. You are better off taking your dog for a walk around the pond. Its much more scenic and since its paved you dont have to worry about mud.Quite honestly a town like ridgewood $$$ should be ashamed of themselves for investing nothing and not policing it better.
Peaceful place, great walk on a nice day
GREAT DOG PARK!!
Not a fan of dp design/entrance/exit. gravel gets on toys etc. no easy access to water to fill water bowls. too close to main road. not thrilled w owners not paying attention to dog behavior/corrections needed.
It’s an okay dog park. It is a smaller space than I expected, especially for the large dog area. There’s no water hookups or spouts inside so I noticed people bringing water for their dogs. That’s disappointing
Great dog park lots of dogs
The dogs & owners are usually well behaved, I would definitely recommend it
One of the worst dog parks Ive been to. Usually dog parks have gravel, stone or wood chips. This park had nothing and was extremely muddy. It also smelt like straight urine to the point that I just left. Walking around the lake was the nicest part of the whole experience. I wouldnt recommend taking your dog here.
Always clean and maintained beautifully.. Perfect for dogs
My dog loves it here
Some owners dont watch their dogs and ignore signs of aggression. A guy laughed off his dog attacking mine. The second time, my dog was bit. I should have left when he didnt.Too much socializing in general, and not enough people paying attention to what their dogs are doing. The rules are ignored and young children are brought into the runs.I stopped coming years ago because of people not following the rules. It hasnt gotten any better.
Nice park. Large dog and small dog areas.
Nice kind of small
Plenty of socializing for the pups, and divided for small and large dogs (under and over 25#) though, as with any group large enough, theres sometimes that one dog/owner that causes problems. Most owners here (and their pups) are friendly and sociable, and theres a great group of regulars.
I was not that impressed. Maybe Im spoiled from living close to Brookdale Park. The water here looked nasty. Very dirty. Not scenic at all. The small dog park was clean but there were no benches inside for the owners to sit. Nowhere to hang leashes. No obstacles for dogs to jump on. Just a small gated area. The park itself was small and the kids area was just meh. I would not go back.
Lots of dogs and nice people
Turns out, dogs taste like chicken.
Lots of space for dogs to roam around and sniff each others butt
Several times we have witnessed owners not paying attention to their dogs. Our dog was aggressively attacked 3 times by the same dog today. The owners response was we were here first. Many people were complaining and saying they should leave the park.
Great place to socialize your dog.
Love to walk here, but goose droppings everywhere around the duck pond.
Good place for all dog size they have two side one for under25 lb and the other side is 25lb and up.your dogs going to love the place some dogs are little too protective but still most dogs are GOOD DOGGIS
Dog parks = inattentive pet owners and fleas
Largely shaded for hot days.
You have to be careful and watch your dog carefully.
Hate dog parks
Nice place
Enjoyed it...
Way too crowded.
Nice place, I got lucky, no one was there.
Great dog park. Our puppy has lots of fun.
A little overcrowded, otherwise perfect
Needs benches for the humans to sit on. Otherwise nice dog park.
Great place for large and small dogs. There are two separate enclosures for the different weight class of dogs
Beautiful, well maintained grounds. Restrooms are easily accessible.
Decent park with friendly dog parents just wish they offered a fountain inside the dog park and some benches....
I like big dogs separated from my tiny cuties.
Fun for dogs
Good paths to walk or run
Wide open place with great trails to walk or ride your bike on.
Wonderful views a great open space.
Love dogs.
Good place for a dog
