Love the Mississippi Crafts Center. They have so much to offer from local artists. Everything that you can imagine from handmade flies (for fishing) to ironworks and everything in between. The facility also hosts classes from some of the local artists! Definitely a must see.

Mine and my wife’s anniversary is tomorrow and she told me she liked some items from here. So I went on their website to be SURE they would be open today (Sunday).....but no, they are of course closed. Would be nice to change the website if you aren’t going to be open when the website says you are. Now I have limited time to figure out what to get. Our anniversary is tomorrow.

Lovely place to visit and pick up a unique handcrafted souvenir from Mississippi. Wish I lived closer to take advantage of classes they offer.

This spot is close to the Craft Museum and the Trace near the back of the museum. You will certainly enjoy this quiet escape off the regular well-known trails. You will find some interesting pieces constructed from recycled metal machine parts.

Beautiful crafts! I got some unique, handmade gifts. ( see tiny flowers made of clay) The sculptures outside were a delight!

Right off the Natchez Trace, this place showcases local artists and craftspeople. A fabulous building and it has a working blacksmiths shop on site. Pottery, glassware, textiles, weaving and more. We saw an exhibit of Choctaw baskets and beading. Well worth visiting this wonderful spot!

I came here for the Bladesports Competition. Its a great place to have just about any event. There is a great little blacksmithing shop in the front yard. The building is a modern looking structure that is unmistakable and its located right on the lake.

This was our first visit to the new crafts center. We liked many of the items we saw, especially since they were produced by area craftspeople. Our mission was to replace my wifes handmade coffee mug we bought several years ago on a drive up the Blue Ridge Parkway. There almost too many choices at the Waller Center, but she finally settled on one. Just wish we had a little more time and a bigger budget!

Such a great place to view and buy local and regional craft items. Lots of pottery options. Several reasonably priced small gift options. Also have jewelry. The building is small but beautiful and modern.

Last week of May - synchronous fireflies behind the building! 9pm peak time. Dont shine your flashlight in folks face. Park in the parking lot, take the stairs down on the left, walk across the bridge. Itsbeautiful!

Beautifully done and great crafts

This is a very interesting and educational place. If you love crafts and the arts you really need to come here. I was so impressed with the weaving classes. I wish I lived closer so I could sign up for some of the classes that they have to offer.

Amazing arts and crafts. Got caught in a freak huge rainstorm. What a lovely way to spend the time until it went away. Loved watch the gentleman cane the chair seat. Great conversation.

Very interesting place. Arts and crafts from different artist and craft people from around the state. Even have classes which involve many different classes such as black smithing. Something you wouldnt normally think of.

If you are looking for locally made unique gifts, ornaments, pottery, quilts and art, you have got to check this place out. The back patio also connects to the Natchez Trace multipurpose trail so you can stop there after a run or bike.

This was a very nice place for a seminar. The craft shop has so many beautiful items by MS artists.

Different things to see each time you go. The volunteers are always a pleasure to talk with and the items for sale are fantastic! Something for everyone!

This place is not for everybody. It is a very nice building filled with supposedly hand made knickknacks. Most are rather expensive. In my mind I am thinking that these items are the way the items you see at garage sales look when they are new. Others in our party are enjoying the visit and appreciating the items in a different light.

The Mississippi Crafts Center is a very cool stop to check out their crafts made by Mississippis very own artisans. Their shop features one of a kind pieces you literally wont find anywhere else. If youre a musical craftsman, consider joining the Mississippi Craftsmans Guild!

My younger sister’s wedding reception was held at this venue and the air conditioning was not properly adjusted and the entire reception was so hot and muggy that it was quite miserable. When the staff was approached about the problem no solutions were offered. Would not recommend.

Weve stopped in twice on different trips and have been consistently impressed by the quality of the works and the friendliness of the staff. I highly recommend this if you are interested in regional arts and crafts. Several pieces came home with us to remind us of our time in Mississippi.

20171018 - I found a quick access to this crafts center and after a short walk from the Old Trace parking lot on the Natchez Trace, I found myself at the Mississippi Craft Center. While I was browsing the center, I over heard another would be customer say You have a lot of wood bowls, but they are really high priced. I can get the same quality bowls online at...The clerk at the center replied, The prices are what the artists set them at.I did not purchase anything from the center because I too thought the prices were way too high.

Great place to stop and see the amazing works of Mississippi artists. It seemed every genre was represented, with the wide variety and abundance of works. Absolutely loved it.

This is a very nice craft center. They have very nice hand made items, artisan type. Prices are fair depending on what you want, just keep in mind theyre artisan made.

Craft items in a beautiful environment!

Wonderful place to buy items from artist who show work they create. There are also demonstration of crafts and classes. Just call for classes and scheduled events. You will love it there.

Beautiful place inside with guild members one-of-a-kind fine craft artworks. It is the only place you can find the Chimneyville Festival all year round in the Gallery! Every time I return to take a class from one of the guild members or shop here, something is new and inviting... Love this place!

This place was very interesting. I was visiting from California and couldnt stay long, but I enjoyed what I had a chance to see and talk about. Looking forward to visiting in the future.
