Honestly, I’ve never been here. Just watched the documentary United Skates.I used to love roller skating outings but only happened in my world once a year. Never learned how to do it well but used to be in awe of those that could.Sad to see rinks closing due to corporate greed and racial bias combining to overruling the community good.

Rich City Skate was one of the best skating rinks around its now closed, it closed in July of last year .

So the skating rink that I use to know as Olympic Skate World is still looking the same way as I remember it when I was in high school, back in the 90s. Nothing has been updated! The skates are the same, the carpet is the same, the concession stand is the same! Smh! The skating area is a death trap! Some parts of the floor are like skating on small rugged hills. The only thing that changed is the DJ area and name! Oh, yeah and they dont spray their skates down either! My cousin realized that she needed a smaller pair after she had skated in them. When she returned them for another size, they took the skates she had and immediately put them back on the self! Smh!

Tons of FUN!!!! ...and when you get tired of skating you can Step on the other floor. The owners are so welcoming...and it just feels like fam! (Why would you go to an adult skate without your own skates anyway?)

Loud, and bring ur own skates, and did I mention loud.

Best SKATING RINK EVER UPSET THEY ARE CLOSING DOWN ON SATURDAY

They ran out of skates for a school function.... A skating rink, ran out skates... it was a small school....

Smells like a gas station bathroom in the summer.
