Left a one star review months ago when I heard their tips were going to the owners and not the workers. The workers were also pushing for better mandated mask wearing. They ended up firing all those workers, hiring all new staff, only to end up on the news today that they had their permit suspended due to NOT FOLLOWING COVID GUIDE LINES. How did they not learn their lesson? Because they wouldn’t listen to their ORIGINAL employees?

Years ago a used to be in a Duckpin league, so I was very excited to hear that Slingshot had Duckpin Lanes, so for a date night my wife and I thought we would check Slingshot out. Overall I enjoyed myself and know they were working out some kinks, but I was a little disappointed in a few things. First, its not real Duckpin, its half lanes with the pins on strings. This was disappointing. If you are familiar with Circuit which I believe owns this place the beer taps and food ordering is pretty much the same. You get a card and swipe and pour your own beer and there are menus located throughout the facility that you make your order on, then go pick up. I thought they had a better menu then Circuit though. I ordered Calamari and about 10mins later got a text that it was ready. When I went to pick up, the guy told me that he was sorry but it wasnt ready and he would have to make a new batch. He told me he would come find me once it was ready so I didnt have to come back. When we went to put her name in to reserve a Duckpin Lane the guy working gave us a pager, about 25 minutes later we were paged when I went up to the counter he told me that he had made a mistake and put me down for bocce ball so I had to wait another 20 minutes before we got are Duckpin Lane. He also didnt tell us that you had to let them know how many games you wanted to play oh, so after my wife and I bowled our first game we wanted to do a second but we got kicked off the lane because we didnt prepay and they had given it to someone else already. None of that was overly bad and I think they will tighten up once theyve been open a little longer, but it was just a little irritating. We been did put in for a bocce ball Court. The bocce ball court is fantastic. Its all computerized and measured through lasers or something its pretty cool I would highly recommend that. I saw they had skee ball I didnt play that but it looks fine as well. Like I said overall I was just slightly disappointed in a few things which just maybe me nitpicking oh, I would definitely go again I can see how you can have a really fun time there. I definitely want to go back and play bocce ball again.

Gotta love a place where you go to close out your tab and they tell you dont worry, well take care of it, then, upon further inquiry, you find out that they tack on an extra 20% gratuity, even though literally everything is self service - poured my own drinks, ordered and picked up my own food... who and what am I tipping? Im generally a 25-30% for good service kind of person, but trying to sneak a tip out of me for literally zero service is shady as hell. I wont be back.

A lot of fun and games. Great place to hang and get drinks. And nice selection of food.

Friday evening, the entire staff of Slingshot and Circuit wrote up a list of concerns for the owners. These consisted of such things as: not requiring customers AND owners to wear regulated masks indoors, withholding staff TIPS and keeping those tips for the business, refusing to abide by covid precautions because its a conspiracy according to owners, holding an open meeting to discuss and resolve concerns, etc. As of today, just TWO days later, instead of speaking to employees they deleted staff emails for management, removed employees from the scheduling app, posted on Indeed hiring all positions, and have still not paid the wages earned (which go back for YEARS).Join us in boycotting these establishments and helping fellow service industry employees get the money they rightfully deserve. Report to the Labor Union, report to newscasters, share this post and many more youll be seeing shortly, if not already, and deny these bars your business.We are sick of barely being able to pay our rents in addition to subjecting ourselves to unsafe environments at the hands of ignorant and selfish business owners! There is strength in numbers”

Love it.. best social game place in Scotts Addition. The convenient selection of taps circuit barcade, but well lit, spacious, and not grungy. Much easier to actually socialize and do something as a group. The outdoor space is beautiful and I cant wait to use it in the summer. Food is better than you would expect. I love the wings. Games are fun too!

This place is a great time. Games are great, decent crowd. There is a lot of selection for beers, but 42 beers on tap and most of them I don’t want to drink. No, I don’t want Pabst. A simple Miller Light (which they seem to run out of behind the bar) would go a long way but it’s not my bar so not really my call. Overall, a great time.

This is a fun place to meet up with your clique. The games sometimes have wait time on busy night. The equipment seems well maintained and we only needed assistance once to untangle our bowling pins after one of my friends rolled with a mean spin. Went to slingshot over the weekend. ItWas a great atmosphere, but I was charged $22 for one beer. There was a sign that stated if you walked out you would be charged gratuity, but I closed my tab and was still charged. Probably not returning to this establishment. Other great places around this area!

Never forget to close your tab. They will blatantly steal from you. Normal places of business may add a small fee or 20% tip for tabs left open. A 157% fee is outrageous, however.

Games awesome! Great drink selection with self serve taps! Food... eat somewhere else. Hamburger over cooked and kitchen easy very disorganized. So many other good places to eat nearby. Dont waste your money. $4 for popcorn poured from bag from Costco!! Plus observed staff touching cooked food with gloves on and then wiping dirty apron and back to food.

Great atmosphere, even with kids on a Friday night at 7:00. Staff is friendly. Beer wall with pours charged by the ounce is like an adult sweet frog. Would give 5 stars except the wings were soggy. They were cooked, just not crispy.

Really neat spot with some fun games with a small twist. The beer wall is a great way to pay as you go. The staff is very kind and helpful and did well with being prompt and explains how their system worked.

Such a fun and unique concept! Way higher quality than Circuit. Im excited for the spring so we can enjoy the patio space as well.

Of all the game bars in Scotts Addition, I found slingshot to be the most fun! Bocce and bowling were super fun, and the space is just spread out enough that it doesnt feel crowded. Loved the whole experience.

Good atmosphere in the afternoon on a Sunday. Not a fan of kids being allowed in but I guess its a family place still. It must be better at night, I didnt see a dance floor but theres enough space for dancing.

Dont support businesses that take advantage of their workers during hard times

Owners are terrible. They take tips from their workers and don’t follow guidelines to help with the spread of COVID-19. People that work here are great but the owners are degenerates. Don’t go until you know that change has been made.

Phenomenal experience. Reserved lanes for 2 hours for a 6 year olds birthday party. Kids had a blast, parents had a blast. Food was great, staff was helpful, and everyone left extremely satisfied.

Great open outdoor space. Unique concept. Easy to order food and drinks.

Keeping employee tips is about as low as it gets. Not following COVID safety guidelines is a danger to the community. These people do not deserve your business. Awful.

Fun but crowded. You put your money on a card to get self serve beer. They have skeevy ball, duckling bowling and my personal faves, radar enabled bocce. Lots of fun!

Had a blast playing bocce for the first time! The place was packed, but we were still able to get food/drinks just fine (thanks to the great beer wall!) and reserve a bocce game without an excessive wait. Definitely worth a try!

Great place for a drink with friends

We tried just about everything on the menu and played every game so here goes: farmers flatbread, calamari, fries, nachos, all ok / not great. Pretzels were really good and huge. All the games were great, I think Bocce was the most fun but you are also paying by the minute and not by the game. Beer wall had a great selection and was really cool, there is also a full bar in the middle where you can get cocktails and spirits. We had a really great time with a group of four, will definitely be back.

So tired of these places in Scotts Addition. Somebody should just open up a warehouse with dirt floors and a pile of greasy fried food splattered on walls.I ordered nachos here, and they dumped the bottom remains of a few bags of seemingly Private Selection tortilla chips into a bowl. Ta-da!If you have a large party and want to hang out in a cesspool of loud drunk semi-adults, I suppose this one of a few options to be miserable at.But hey, the beer is priced pretty well and who doesnt like to pour your own drinks? Three stars!

First time here. Saturday night is definitely NOT the night to come of you dont wanna wait...for everything! Drinks at the bar...food...all the games....you gotta wait. But they had plenty of board games to keep u busy if u could get one. The bar line wasnt too bad. I guess I couldve just got beer & had no wait. Didnt try any food- once they made an announcement the kitchen was behind 45 mins I figured why bother. The guy working the desk for games told us an hour wait for any game but it ended up being like 45mins for skee-ball. Had fun thoDefinitely going back againMaybe during the week when its less people

Super Skeeball (skeeball with duckpin balls) is the most fun, but duckpin bowling & bocce are still a great time.

Went with 6 friends on pre-opening night. Food is good. Beer, cider and wine are all self-serve - pay by the ounce. We played duck pin bowling (no bowling shoes reqd), skeeball and bocce. All fairly priced. They also had lots of board games and bucket ball. Fun atmosphere. TION is a manager and huge asset to Slingshot. We had some food timing issues and he was there to accommodate every step of the way. I went back Sat, Nov 9, for another great night. Tion remembered us, gave a hug, and took care of us once again. Even offering a menu update on the spot. TION WAS REALLY GREAT and alot of the reason we came back a second time. Customer service goes a long way!! A+
