Excellent place for american food. I was super full. Had a friend come into town and she asked me to take her here again. The bill wont break you. Food is like a restaurant in Jacksonville I loved.

Never been to a drag show brunch and always wanted to go. Finally went to Godfreys 27 Sept 2020 and it was phenomenal. They’re opened during a pandemic but definitely take every precaution to ensure them as well as their customers are being safe. Sanitize stations all throughout the bar. A touch less menu and tip. Super safe! And the performances oh my goodness!!!! I had a great time along with the people I came with. For a first time experience Godfreys, staff, and the entertainers definitely set the tone!!!! Loved it thank you for such an amazing time.

A great show! I went with a group for a friends birthday and we all had a blast!

Great atmosphere, beautiful queens, and a great time. We went for my best friends bachelorette party and it was fantastic. Its 7 hours later and my ears are still ringing. Oh and the food was amazing and the drinks were super strong.

Best drag/gay bar in Richmond. The staff is fast so you won’t have to wait too long to get a drink. Cleaner than Babe’s and a younger crowd than Barcode.

A bartender at my hotel suggested I visit Godfrey’s and I ended up here with family Boy did I have a great time. The show was so much fun, and the energy of everyone I came in contact with was positive and upbeat. The cocktails kept flowing, but the charges were really quite reasonable. I would definitely suggest you add it to your night if you’re a local or visiting Richmond like me.Xoxo Lorenzo

Fun show, outstanding food! Only complaints were that our table was by the window and midway through the show we couldnt see due to the sunlight and it was crazy hot. Often had a hard time understanding the host, but that could have been due to the sounds system.If you and your girlfriends have never been ... GO! You will have a great time!!

5 stars for the (Sunday brunch) show and quality of service, 1 star for knowing when to cut people off. The party seated next to us had at least 4 ladies that were FAR too intoxicated to continue to be served. They broke 4 glasses, sprayed champagne on our group, and were a general and obvious nuisance, one girl left to throw up in the bathroom. This was clear to management and nothing was done. Safe space means physically safe too.Also its $20 instead of the advertised $15 for brunch

Honestly its a great place! I only go when its Wednesday and 18+ for the club nights! Its so much fun, must make sure you go with a group of friends. Police right outside the door to make ya feel safe. Id definitely recommend to go and see the drag shows!

This is a great establishment of business for the LGBT community and friends to fellowship along with eating great food. However, every Friday “Saturday morning” at 1:45am to 2:30am, there are multiple altercations that occur at this establishment. It has now become a safety issue and I don’t recommend anyone to go to this institution around this time. I really wish management will handle this situation accordingly as it puts a damper on the community in Richmond. There are also multiple videos as well of these altercation occurring at this establishment. Some people have also been seen with weapons as well. Please be safe if you are attending this establishment.

First time there, everyone and everything was excellent

Wow, this was my first time at this place and I absolutely loved it! The women were fantastic and put on a great show! It was a lot of comedy too. Definitely one of the best places to go for food and entertainment.

Walked in pretty early to this place just enjoying new and old friends (2 male 2female). Us ladies were told we HAD to check our coats and pay $1 per coat. Eventually others arrived, they had a small drag show which was wonderful. I did however notice other men and women there with coats and even inquired if they were asked to check them, obviously not. Addressed this on our way out and we were basically told its its whatever therei decide and not to come back. So i will definitely pass on the overpriced weak drinks, cigarette smoke smell, and overall rudeness and wont return.

The show and brunch are incredible. For all that is going on, the service throughout the show was spot on too. Definitely worth the experience

Fashionista Loves The Brunch... regularly!I guess Im a regular... probably have attended this popular event at least 8 times. It never disappoints. Staff is very friendly, food is great (go for the Eggs Benedict), drinks are strong. And seriously, everyone leaves happy. It is a fun, fashionable (who doesnt like a sparkle), feisty time. What a fabulous place to go! I visited Godfreys for the Drag Brunch this last Sunday and had the time of my life. The food is delicious, the cocktails are creative and executed quickly, and the performers are absolutely spectacular. Plenty of love to go around here!! Will definitely be returning.

Show was great and food was HORRIBLE. I ordered seared salmon salad what I actually got was small fishy pieces of boiled salmon.

Always have a great time when i go. The drag shows are a site for everyone to see, some of the best queens do performances here on wednesday nights. I havent tried any of their food yet, but their drinks are worth EVERY penny.

I work there so Im biased but they are the best in town. Drag shows are incredible the staff is friendly and its a well old machine.Food is really good too. Drag shows or adult themed but very funny. Fun to be had by all!

Came here on a weds night and pretty sure I saw roaches in the bathroom. Nasty place. I guess the only reason this place is still going, is because its one of a few gay bars. One that Ill no longer be going to. I left with dirt under my finger nails, even the air is thick and not to mention no AC! Gotta go outside to cool off. There are other gay bars, dont support this one. Ive only heard things about the owners but from what I can tell, they were accurate. Nasty place! And to think this place serves food during the day! Can someone get the health and food service department in here please?

I checked this place out on pride weekend. There was literally no A/C on. It was a sauna. I am not sure how people didnt pass out dancing. My friend and I left and the security guard laughed because he knew it was true. Music was good.

Our waiter, LaMont, was fabulous. The food and drinks were awesome. The entertainment as usual was wonderful.

It was a nice club, but the people were alil weird.. It wasnt even a nice crowd.

Godfreys is amazing. A little smaller than what Im used to. (Im from Philly) but I felt more than at home here. I went there for purple night and really enjoyed myself. Im definitely visiting them again

The show itself was fabulous. The cramped and packed establishment made me a little claustrophobic. The food was good but it took WAY to long to get service for food and drink. I would snack before you see the show.

Brunch and a show! The performers were super dope and very interactive. Wonderful staff and delicious mimosas. Very fun brunch. 4 stars because the omelette was a little dry and small. My advice, get the French toast or a sandwich.

The food was great. I thought the show would have been a little more entertaining. It was kind of all the same routine. But none the less, we still had a great time.

The best! Huge windows so you can watch the city street, great staff and you must go to their Sunday Brunch Drag Show weekly. Ive seen gay, straight, families with their kids there on Sundays and Its all in good fun. Dont judge until you go there yourself and Im sure youll agree.

Visited a friend in Virginia and she took me to Godfreys for the Drag Brunch. It was a great show, the staff and performers were super friendly, the service was fast and the food was great! I hope to make it back there again!!

We went for the besties bday. And I think you can tell from her face that we had a lovely time. We partook of the Sunday brunch and both our meals were yummy. Service was top notch and drinks had a kick. Lets take a moment and give the ladies around of applause for their preformances. We would definitely do again!
