A really nice, family friendly ballpark. Its old, but well kept. the artwork brightens up the inside quite a bit. The food lines moved quickly and staff was very nice and helpful. I wish more of the stadium was outside and uncovered, but it was still a really nice time. I got there when the gates opened and parking was very easy and quick. Ill be back for sure. Go nuts!

Great place to watch a baseball game. Plenty of seating options. Tickets are less then ten dollars. Large parking lots have plenty of spots right next to stadium. Lots of places to eat and drink. Great views of downtown Richmond as well. Lots of weekly promotions add to the fun at the game.

They allowed the Wounded Warrior Program to host movies on the outfield. As a wounded warrior/military veteran, my sister and daughter as well enjoyed this event tonight.

This is a great organization. They had the 380th Army Band Brass Band Chop Busters out for a pregame performance today. Im really happy they give the Athletic Trainer their own baseball card. The transitional activities are a lot of fun between innings. Ive always wanted to perform there, and I finally got the opportunity. I would like to play again sometime.

I really love going to Flying Squirrels games! This is derived from the fact that the stadium is really well maintained and the fact that the food is pretty decent. The environment of watching every Flying Squirrels game I go to is always upbeat and overall just fun. If you haven’t seen our local minor league baseball team play, I recommend that you come to one of their games. My only problem with this stadium is that certain staff members can be extremely rude at times. Other than that, this is the place to be if you’re a baseball fan!

Family friendly environment and experience, great place to catch a ball game in Richmond if you dont want to travel up to D.C to see the Nats play.

I really enjoyed the game tonight. The atmosphere was wonderful. There were a little bit over 7000 people there on a Thursday. The food was good. Good customer service. I loved how they used different tactics of how to keep the crowd going. Afterwards they had fireworks which were awesome. A good place to bring your family. Ill definitely be back.

Love this place. Easy parking, tons of things to do on top of the baseball game. Family friendly. Love that they changed to Pepsi! They also have new wine bars, a bunch of food options with a new meal option (fried and drink) and beer.

They have stepped up their food, beer, and wine game since the started here in Richmond and they put on a great show. Always fan and especially kid friendly. Love how they give back to the community too. Such a better product than the Braves when they were here.

Fun, clean, organized venue. Fair tix pricing, fun environment. I would guess nearly every seat is a good seat. A fun diamond indeed!

My kids and I love watching the squirrels..Gams are always a great time..Concessions and beer are a little high guess thats all part of having fun..I always Park in the $5 lot right behind the diamond sometimes hard to get out at the end of the game but for sure where its going and checking the game or two outIts a lot of fun

Have fun, Go Nutz! It is so fun to watch a baseball game here. You can relax with a hard cider, beer, or even some food from the concessions. I have found seats for 15 dollars right by the dugout or even lower. There are even small events for kids and family. During certain times of the year, the Stadium does host other events.

Great game! This was our first baseball game. The whole family enjoyed the game. We sat in the upper area behind home plate. Im glad we did because you have to play close attention to the fowl balls which tend to move very fast into the other parts of the seating areas. This was the night when the squirrels won by way of a walk grand slam home run!!!! We will definitely make time for a few games next year.

The game was fine, the seats were fine, the food was fine, the drinks were fine ..... the parking however was a cluster @#$% ... there were almost 10 attendants when we came in (and paid) and when we left 1 .... 1 attendant to hold back the mob and it never goes well

Always a fun time for the family! My oldest LOVES the Squirrels and it was such a treat that the kids got to go with school last year! Love having a stadium so close to home! Reasonable prices, friendly staff, and AWESOME food ;)

Its always fun to go to a Squirrels game. There is plenty of parking. There are not enough food vendors. The lines for food are a ridiculous. Not much in the way of vegetarian options but its a baseball stadium so I dont really expect that. Regardless of that, the rest of the experience is always great. Everyone that works for the Richmond Flying Squirrels is really friendly and helpful, and that adds to the overall experience of going to a game. The stadium is clean. The games themselves are always fun and run very well, with plenty of side entertainment. The theme nights are great, they do lots of firework nights, and sometimes they have live music at the games. If you live in Richmond, you should be going to some baseball games. Go Flying Squirrels!

Nothing like a beautiful evening at the Diamond watching our home team win 6 to 2! The chicken fingers and fries were delicious...hot and tasty! The facilities seem fine to me but this is the only sports facility Ive been to. Lots of people there cheering for the Flying Squirrels! Well be back in a few weeks when our grandchildren are here! Cant wait!

Had a very good time. Even saw them shoot a man out of a cannon plus fireworks. Fun evening.

Great experience, great prices, great for kids. This is a great minor league baseball field. Its actually like they shrunk a professional park and made it a baseball field. Every seat is a good seat. The outfield has a wonderful panoramic view overlooking Richmond.

Always a great time! Food is priced as expected as well as the beer. Last time I went was for the 4th of July and the fireworks were amazing! They have fun activities and giveaways between innings that dont take too much time away from the actual game. The parking is easy and there are a lot of good restaurants and breweries within walking distance of the field. A great time for friends and family!

I have been to a ton of Minor League Games and by far this was the most fun! My team didnt even win and I still had a great time! Beautiful Clean Park, Amazing Food at really reasonable prices (West Coast Dog is everything!), family friendly activities every half inning, and even the fellow fans were respectful and kind. I will make the drive to see more games here in the future, without a doubt!

Best entertainment deal in Richmond!! Parking is plentiful with easy access. All seating is comfortable and the concessions are readily available. All prices are reasonable and the games are almost always competitive!! Have FUN!! Go NUTS!!

The way this place is managed is poor. Due to a rained out game, we were told that our seats would be the same. Once we showed up, there were in fact people in the seats that we had reserved. We were told to go to Will Call and they were completely unwilling to help make the situation right. The new seats were given were seven sections over and our party was split. As an employee of the aa affiliate of the Marlins, I was not impressed with the service mindset. At our stadium we are instructed to make any situation right and make sure the customer returns. It is very upsetting to see this stadium run so poorly.

Flying Squirrels baseball is a great time for entire family. Fun games and good entertainment Im between innings. Plus the stadium has a lot of food and beverages options other than the standard fare. They are an asset to Richmond community.

I have been to several games and all of them have been a lot fun. All of the evening games I have been to have had really good firework displays at end of them. Flying Squirrels games are fun for the whole family.

Been going to The Diamond/Squirrels Nest for decades. Major fun and good baseball. Just dont sit in the Peanut Gallery. There is a main aisle in front of the seats that people walk the entire game. Pretty annoying. Blocks the game.

Parking is a nightmare, all the lots were full. Wait in line for 3 innings to get a hot dog. You would be better off driving to DC or Baltimore to see actual baseball. The stadium is in shambles and cant accommodate the amount of fans. Build a new one Richmond geeeezzzzz...

I love going squirrels games. they are fun, in between innings they have fun competitions for kids to win a prize. They shoot free tshirts into the stands. You are surrounded by people that enjoy a good baseball game. Their food tastes great. Then they give you a coupon on the way out for free food at a restaurant. I highly recommend going to their games, you will enjoy it.

My Heart, I love me some RVA FLYING SQUIRRELS, season ticket holder last 5 years and love every moment there. Its greats for the family, its fun for a date, with a large group of friends and Ive gone alone and still had a great time, everyone on the staff are incredible, and even when youre alone a baseball crowd is like family and pulls you in and you have instant new friends, if you live in or near Richmond and havent gone out to support the Squirrels youre missing out on a great time...... they also are incredible for our community with everything they do, I THE RICHMOND FLYING SQUIRRELS

Probably the best entertainment fall in Richmond. Seats right behind home plate are super affordable. Theres something for the whole family here.

As with most minor league experieces, the park works extra hard to make your time enjoyable and family friendly and affordable entertainment for families. It was a hot August evening, but the stadium was festive and the crowd was in a good mood. Food was decent and cheap by major league park prices and better than most movie studios. Walked up and got great, last minute, field level tickets for $14 a pop and the section was good enough that the governor joined us a few rows in front in the bottom of the first inning. The home team lost but if you were looking for a relaxing evening, the fans like us won. If you havent been to a Flying Squirrels game, give it a try.

Worst time ever, sound system sucks at best. All you hear is garbled noise. No more Jumbo dogs, no ushers to speak of. New paint looks like they let a bunch of 3 year old kids loose to do it. Place has not been cleaned all season.

Despite aging facilities, the Flying Squirrels manage to have a fun and engaging atmosphere for a baseball game. You can get into the baseball, or enjoy the other silly things going on if your kids need extra entertainment. The food and beer options are pretty decent, but the craft beer selection and availability could be a bit better. Still a great way to spend an afternoon or evening.

Brought our 10yr old son out with his friends and family for his birthday (pre-planned party). They had a party area, sodas, pizzas, cornhole, other games, allowed him to do first pitch. They were expecting us once we arrived asking for us by name at the front entry to the party zone.My son was excited to get a chance to throw a first pitch to the squirrels catcher.The service level was brought up another notch when we forgot to grab a bobblehead (had a promition for the first 1000) and we came through a back entrance. My wife emailed the party coordinator (Hayden) and he had bobbleheads sent to the fan services for us. Certainly not required, but a very nice touch.Highly recommend the Squirrels for similar parties!For the adults, the food is what youd expect, lots of options and there are many local craft beer options.

The Squirrels know how to put on a show! The game was very enjoyable (we won!), but between-inning activities were just as much fun to watch. The announcer was very good, too. The downside, however, was the long lines for food. It took two full innings to get some munchies, which is a great indicator that there should be more locations to purchase food. It also took quite a bit of time to get out if the parking lot after the game, which we expected but is still a little frustrating. Overall, though, our $9 per ticket was well spent.

I like the ease of getting in and out. Unfortunately its located in an industrial area so there is no night activity after the gm.
