This park, honestly, has just about everything. From boat launches, to tennis / volley ball courts. Sandy beaches and beautiful green fields. Biking paths vs walking paths. Parking lots and bathrooms. They used to have drinking fountains but I feel like, post covid, those may no longer be a thing. Lots of giant trees (Ive seen beavers and bald eagles here) You can also fish or kayak. Lots of picnic tables for those summer birthday parties that always seem to be happening. Theres even informational panels along the trail and Ive even picked black berries here, in the right season. Oh, and kids playground swings. What more could you ask for in park?

Its beautiful and so close to the river. The playground was fun for the kids. Grounds crew came around at least twice checking out things while driving their ATV. There was only one bathroom in our area. Parking was adequate but not too close to the picnic pavilion.

I really do enjoy this park my son and I go on adventures all the time. The only reason Im giving this place for stars is that it is our tax paying money keeping this place alive yet the bathrooms cant be unlocked? Riddle me that one. Just makes no sense including when you have children mostly here just let him piss anywhere they want huh. Other than that its very well taken care of the people are weird but hey they are everywhere

Beautiful place to hang out in nice weather. Walking biking swimming grilling, all is possible here and on any given day you will see a large number of people doing one of these. Multiple picnic spots and parking space available. The entire riverfront trail has a number of hidden river beach alcoves that are absolutely serene. Lots of Pokémon’s to catch as well.

Its a pretty park with big, old trees that provide nice shaded areas during the heat of the summer. There is also a swimming area, a muddy beach, a nice volleyball sandpit, public restrooms, a softball diamond, a handball court, and several benches and bench swings. This park gets pretty busy, especially on the weekends in the summer and parking can be difficult to find.

Beautiful park! Amazing beach volleyball courts. Nice beach front sandy area. One of my favorite parks in the Tri Cities. There is a bathroom, water fountains, picnic tables, shade from trees, park benches, waterfront access for dogs to swim, 3 beach volleyball courts, and trail along the river. This would be a great place tp drop kayaks in. You could kayak around the little islands near the park. This picture is from the time the river was in flood this year. The beach is gradual and great for swimming. The benchs are obviously usually much father back from the water.

Ive been visiting this park since childhood and its consistently well-kept and a safe place to swim. They have a receptacle for used charcoal briquettes, clean, newer volleyball sand-courts, and covered dining areas with picnic tables and free power outlets. Accessible via walking and bike path connected to Howard amon, Columbia point marina, etc.

Je

Beautiful park. Right on the river. Lots of gathering spots that accommodate small to large groups. Theres sand volleyball courts, a well maintained beach front, and docks for fishing nearby. The main biking/ walking path in Richland connects this park to the larger Howard Ammon Park just a couple of miles south.
