What a fantastic evening. Great food and service! I love the new menu! My favorite part of the whole evening was the beautiful painting that I took home! Becky’s fantastic teaching skills and knowledge is a benefit to all who paint with her. I absolutely love this place!!
Such a fun activity! I love to paint but my family doesn’t. This is the only place we can go together that everyone walks away with a finished product they love which is such a beautiful thing. Worth the money and definitely an activity we shall repeat!
Oh my I have nothing but praise for Becky her mom, and the staff. Becky has worked very hard to create a place to discover what watercolors is about. She shares technical knowledge of how to. I have had my eyes open to the amazing modality of water paper and color. I always have a great time, coming home with masterpieces.
So much fun! It was my first class ever, and a little daunting painting my beloved doggy who recently passed away. I was so of messing it up or of not doing her justice! But the painters were great and really helped me along, giving tips and encouragement. I am absolutely in love with the finished piece! And oh my gosh, the Chicken Pesto panini was amazing! I wanted 10 of them!
I have painted at the Wet Palette several times and I always leave having a fantastic experience and I painting that I love. No experience is required. Becky takes you through the process, step by step. Its fool proof as long as you follow her directions and the suggestions of her and her helpers. They want you to leave with a painting that you love! The price is reasonable and I love that they give you the option to mat and frame your masterpiece that night.
I do NOT recommend, at least if your instructor is Becky Brice, the owner. I have only been once, and will not be returning. She was so extremely rude and talked to the class like we were a bunch of idiots, totally condescending. She is a painting Nazi. She will yell at you if you dont follow her instructions to a T. Dont you dare tear that tape before she says its ok to. It was not enjoyable for us because the whole time we were worried we would get in trouble. The helpers are super nice, however she talks to them like they are idiots too. The paintings are fool proof but its not the fun relaxed chill time it should be. Save your money and go to a more laid back paint night where you can actually have fun and not be talked to like youre a mentally challenged 1st grader.
The painting was fun the customer service did not exist. We paid to have our art framed. It was cut too thin and then she tried to blame the painting. This was fully covered ocean, but even if it was a negative space piece why wouldnt you measure the painting instead of chopping without measuring? No refund on the frame, no discount, no customer service.
I experienced the Wet Palette Studio for the first time last Saturday evening. I enjoyed the venue and their teaching is easy to follow, with a great artist. I was dissapointed in my artwork but I was helped (thank you so much Caleb) and plan to return to improve :)
I have invested my time and energy in my 4th class with Becky and staff and love it. I have learned so much from Becky about Water coloring. Thank I will be back and back and back again.
It has been a really hard week for me and last night was exactly what I needed. Thank you Becky and Phillis for everything!
