This place kicked me out for playing one on one basketball and while I was leaving the bald guy in the front started touching me and I told him not to because he kicked us out for “touching each other while playing one on one” so I thought he didn’t want no one touching no one then he said I had a attitude and gave me a one week ban then i said that’s bs then he gave me a month ban and threatened a year ban. First time here and for sure last time here!

I love the place I can hang with my friends and also play basketball with other people including my friends!

Visited here on Saturday for a badminton session with my friends. They had tried to accommodate basketball, volleyball, badminton, etc. on the same court space. So there were crazy number of court lines with different colors which was quite confusing to get used to. I always played in dedicated badminton courts so maybe this is how these facilities are.But it was pretty cheap to use the facility, I paid $5 for 4 hours. Wasnt too crowded and was neatly maintained.

John in parts department is fantastic. He went above and beyond to help me. Found what I needed at another location, went and got it, and delivered it to the tire shop. Great people at Huffines! Second time they have come to the rescue! Would recommend to anyone in the Dallas/Richardson area!

We love Huffines! Samantha the dance teacher is AMAZING! She has been working with my daughter for years now! Everyone that works there, Samantha, Michelle, the entire front desk, everyone is super nice and helpful!

I love the kids playground and the walking trails. Its definitely a family oriented environment!

A city owned gym with a sauna, basketball court, and recreation room. Its a nice place, but can get crowded since its small. Your experience will depend on what time you go and how busy it is.

They where racist to me.They just told me to leave and come back and they let my other friends go in with no pass.

Our small group of people (called Pray! Richardson) who pray together for the city of Richardson, the state, the nation, and the world, on Saturday mornings from 8:00-9:00, were graciously permitted to pray together in the Huffines room at the Rec Center. Our usual venue by the Richardson Civic Center fountain plaza was preempted by other events taking place there, so we appreciated the opportunity to pray in this Richardson location. The Huffines room is clean, very spacious for our group, and there were chairs available for us to set up for our prayer circle. (We usually bring our own chairs to the Civic Center.). Thank you to the staff who provide the chairs, allow us to use the space, and keep the rooms there clean and neat!

Love this place, friendly staff, etc. Just wish they would open earlier on Saturdays..

Front desk could be nicer. I always say “hello” or “how are you.” And I never get a response or a smile.I don’t know it just makes me want to stop trying to be nice.

This recreation center is great. You need a membership to join. But its really cheap if you live in Richardson. They have a gym and a small workout space. Most of the equipment is cardio and dumbbells.

My son and his friends love to play basketball here! Great friendly people work the front desk, and the facilities are extremely nice!.

Can’t bring water bottles into the basketball court? How are the league players supposed to stay hydrated? The janitor was very rude about letting people know about the no water bottle rule. I think thats what made my experience with the workers there unpleasant. Other than that, the place looks well maintained.

Fun place for kids and specially elderly people

This is a beautiful recreation area and park. It has a nice walking and biking trail. It could use a little bit of cleanup, but, otherwise a great place.

We recently became members to take advantage of its exercise equipment, basketball court, and small game area. The facility is very well kept including the restrooms. The only thing I have issues with is how loud and obnoxious some of the kids can be without the staff saying anything to them. I usually have my earbuds in listening to loud music and can hear them loud and clear. Im a parent myself so I know tweens/teens can get quite excited when having fun, but there should be a limit.

Its clean and well maintained, everything looks new or newly renovated. The staff is friendly and easy to work with, and the variety of programs,classes, and camps is top notch.

Great places for classes, gym, or a walk. They offer a ton of stuff for a low cost. Look into it.

Such a beautiful park and facility.

Inexpensive, clean, full size basketball gym, table tennis, adequate weights and 2 pulley and cable exercise machines. A good number of treadmills, elliptical machines and stationary bikes.

Great place to workout and have fun. They just refinished the Gym Floor and have signs all over saying No Food or Drinks Allowed which makes sense with a new floor.

Great facility and great staff as well. Friendly people all around.
