I perform at this venue once a month. Backstage is spacious. A lot of reverberation in the concert hall, which for classical music concerts requires players to articulate more. They have nice dressing rooms downstairs. Overall, the venue is good for performers and audience. I would recommend it.
What a wonderful experience for my daughter! We attended the Dolls and Dudes Disney Pageant for the disabled. The staff were so kind. The volunteers were knowledgeable and attentive. The ROTC came out and landed support too. There were so many people thT contributed to ensuring that our loved ones had one of their best days to date. The Center was immaculate and easy to navigate with valet parking as a wonderful bonus.
This is a wonderful facility and Richardson is fortunate too have it. Hopefully Covid-19 will abate soon and we can once again enjoy social activities in this stellar venue.
I enjoyed performing here and the staff was amazing! However I’m pretty sure if you are actually IN a show you aren’t supposed to get charged for parking- the attendant charged me twice over the weekend as I was leaving from rehearsals. Other than that it was a lovely weekend and it was amazing to get to be here!
I love everything about this location, went there for my boys art show and I had so much fun. We was greeted at the entrance and shown which way to go and how to go about the program. We even got free parking for the event which you dont get everywhere else. The pictures and artworks were beautifully displayed and well organized for everyone present to see and take pictures. My boy had fun too and loved it.
Very nice place. Parking is easy and close. Very helpful staff, and lots of them. Seating is good in every area.
We saw Shen Yun and it was the best performance I have ever seen.(I have been going to the theater over 30 years). A definite must see and better that expected.Warning - unlike other places you can only take bottles of water into the performance hall. There was as n intermission for more refreshments though.
Its a good venue. The staff was friendly. Both Inside and outside seemed to be well kept and clean. If you get there early you might be able to park on the street behind the building for free otherwise expect about $20 for parking.
Bought 2 tickets at $30 more than a month prior to the show. However, received a voicemail 1 day before the show saying they are canceling our tickets and refunding us the money and was offered couple of other seats for no cost.Since it was so last minute there was no choice available in the seats and we either had to take whatever seats they offered us or miss our daughter’s first recital. We accepted their offer. At the auditorium we find out that 1 of the seat they gave us did not even exist. There was a spot and somebody had to bring a chair for my husband to sit. Very surprised at this kind of behavior and will definitely try to avoid this place as much as possible in future.
This a great venue for up and close concert performances. Italian restaurant across the street. Nice lobby bar for early birds. Parking is all in walking distance. Arlo Guthrie and Herman’s Hermits were great shows.
Great venue with top notch entertainment. Sound and acoustics are incredible. I get more impressed with every visit. Event parking is only $5 which is an added treat!
Big place. Went to see Senior Follies with my Senior Center group. Great show!
The Charles W. Eisemann Center for Performing Arts or simply the Eisemann for locals is located in the Galatyn Park Urban Center in the heart of Richardsons business and technology area.Opened in September 2002, the Eisemann is one of the leading performing arts facilities serving the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The Eisemann is located just south of the intersection of Central Expressway (US 75) and the President George Bush Turnpike (Hwy. 190), is easily accessible by car. It is also easily accessible by the DART Rail’s Galatyn Park Station on the Red Line. The Eisemann Center serves the entertainment and special events.
Excellent!!I cannot say enough great things about the Eisemann center!I saw the Nutcracker play this afternoon.great location.easy to find. Its a beautiful building.Very clean and the staff is Outstanding!Valet parking available. Thanks
Probably the best venue in North Texas. Great acoustics and easy parking. The Rennaisance Hotel is just across the street if you want an overnighter.
Peaceful and a great place to work.
Enjoyed the concert. Ushers, and others very helpful and attentive. Have several other music concerts booked and look forward to attending.
This is a smallish concert venue that has excellent acoustics. There is a semi private arena mainly the front two rows and behind it is the main floor seats. There is also an upper level that appears too far from the stage but it really isnt. Seeing that the whole auditorium is small. If you have kids seeing a show here you might want to to sit upstairs as the sound pressure would be less. There is a food court available at the main entrance that offers random selection of fast food. Kind of mediocre but expected. Oddly enough theres a bank of America branch in there next to the cafeteria that looks out of place. Mostly the musical events here are of older bands or Indian shows. Asleep at the wheel was the only band I recognized on the list. They are playing March 20, 2020.
C. S. Lewiss The Great Divorce was a must see. Extraordinary performances to a very sophisticated adaptation.
Beautiful venue. I don’t think there is a bad seat in the house. The concessions have food, Starbucks, and alcohol. Self Parking is complimentary it valet is available.
This was an awesome experience. I loved the show, i loved their banter, it was a delightful bouquet for the ears and I highly recommend this
Beautiful center! My friends and I had the pleasure of visiting to watch Shen Yun perform on January 11th. It was incredible! We were blown away by the beauty and artistry of all the artists and musicians. The choreography was so entrancing and the colors so vivid. Before seeing the performance we walked around the Eisemann Center and also enjoyed the artwork from local artists. What a wonderful evening!
Weird drinks! Lol, the Eisman is a great hall, I go see the orchestra with my gf who is a violinist that plays with them. Of course i partake in their bar items, they have some interesting combinations including a sparkling gold drink I had once, little sour for my taste but still interesting. They do have food but its not allowed inside so go early if you need a snack!
There was a bunny outside the night I went to the Eismann for a work event. Would recommend for any event, with or without bunnies.
Lovely location. Hosted a great production. Smaller venue than I was expecting but it was comfortable and the overall experience was fun.
By far one of the best performing arts centers in the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex. We were just there for this years RCAS annual juried art show, in which my wife is exhibiting. Everything was impeccably handled. It is a stunning facility inside and out.The art installation above the ticket counter of halogen lighting through diffraction gratings is sheer genius. It looks best at night.
Great evening hearing Frank W. Abagnale,Jr. speak. I have seen the movie about his life 4 times,Catch Me If You Can. After sharing his life story he shared ways to protect yourself from fraud. Very informative.
Clean and spacious, nice ambiance. You get a clear view of the stage no matter where you seat. I usually sit in row K. However, it is not worth paying vallet for parking.
When we got to the center, we were expecting to seea play, but I wasnt expecting the place to be so so big and beautiful. The stage was HUGE and there was beautiful lighting and curtains. Not many people were there, but I could tell it could hold way more people than it did. Its the best place to watch a performance and I very highly reccomend it for any book tour, performance or even opera!
I appreciate them offering their facilities for the Community Outreach Programs throughout Plano (and other cities too Im sure). The parking is easy to find, the lobby is large and full of light and there are plenty of food / drinks options (alcohol too!) Cashier was very friendly and overall we had a great time!
Very nice performing arts center! Highly recommend. Beautiful artwork inside and in the gallery on the top floor. Comfortable seats, clean bathrooms, great sound quality. What more can you ask for?
Great venue serving wine& snacks & even dinner on certain nights. Helpful, friendly staff!
Very nice facility. The only problem is getting out of the garage. No traffic control at all. We waited 20 minutes just to get out.
Great place to see live performance. Good seating
My daughters spring performance was held here today. We were disappointed with the seating, we ordered front row seats at the price of $35.00 per seat of course thinking they would be the best seat in the theatre. To our surprise the stage was over our heads, we could not see from their feet to their ankles on the ballerinas. It was so awkward, uncomfortable and disappointing. To charge $35 for the worst row in the room is just ridiculous, I would highly recommend sitting 3rd row and beyond. Maybe even up on the balcony to get a great view of the whole stage! That front row is just way too close to the stage, so of course that initially knocked off a star for a review. Then, right in the middle of my daughters recital, the fire alarm went off, the whole theatre had to be evacuated. We waited for fire dept. to show to be told it was a malfunction and only a tech person can fix it: so we had to leave and MAYBE come back at the 7pm show. We had 4 family members drive from out of town and had to get back home, we had dinner plans so of course the 7pm show didn’t work for us. So my daughter had to miss her own recital. I understand these things happen but I expected some more professionalism as far as rescheduling went! another date would’ve been more accommodating. I later found out only 4 girls from my daughters class showed up to perform, that’s 4 out of 12!! I called to get a refund for my 8 horrible tickets and immediately the lady said yes of course! I was very grateful for that, it was the least they could do. Which is why I hold this review at 3 stars. Beautiful theatre, convenient flower shop inside and there were cute ballet trophies! I really hope this doesn’t happen again to anyone else! It was heartbreaking.
They have pretty good salmon. My residents love the food here.
Very nice venue. We were sitting high-up and to the left of the stage and still had an unimpeded view. Bathrooms were easy to access and clean. For a stage production I would want to be down on the main floor. The staff were friendly and well informed.
It was actually pretty amazing. I went to see a concert, it was epic!
There is a nice balance of types of performances plus reasonable close parking. Its much closer than the Dallas arts district.
Place was so Fancy I felt like Julia Roberts in pretty woman
Awesome!!! When I left the performance center I was so relax. Love it!!!! Well be there next year.
I always enjoy coming here. The performances have been excellent and the acoustics are great.
Beautiful building, nice venue, and easy to get to! Definitely recommend!
Looks like a great venue for musical shows. I was there this evening to watch the Richtones chorus for their annual show this coming Saturday. Looking forward to this show with my sister Monica in it.
Womderful Place To Connect w/ Wonderful Productions! #seniorfollies
When you want to hold your event at a world class facility in DFW area choose Eiseman center. They cater to all cultures.
As always the Pegasus Black and White production was a superb experience.
Went to see the ballet Gizelle. Clean area, ushers were really helpful. Show was beautiful. Overprice food and drinks but to be expected. Worth it.
Very spacious and good views from all seats. The parking garage in front of the hotel is directly attached to the Eisemann, even though they always list the one across the street on the side as the one labeled event parking
Fantastic facility! Very clean and all of the employees are readily available and able to guide you to the correct place.
This is a nice place, and its one of the very, very few such venues where all the workers are really, really nice and friendly. And the Concession.... Ah, yes, friendly people, reasonable prices, and generous pours of wine and liquor... Really...instead of wondering why youre getting shorted, you cant believe they are still pouring.Turns out (I realized after I got my credit card statement), its run by Renaissance Hotels. Maybe I need to start staying at Renaissance Hotels.Oh, and one other nice plus... You can take your drinks into the theater!!Someone has been listening.
A beautiful center that offers a comfortable and pleasant venue for live performances.
Alllwohe sound, the spacious room, the lights were wonderful ! It really allowed me to enboy the show ! This includes parking which is also reasonable and well attended too.
There are no bad seats. Box office is accomadating.
Attended Hamza Namira’s concert there. Very clean place and all staff are very cooperative!
We went to see the Senior Folies. It was so good. The Eiseman is easy to get to, the acoustics are excellent and they feature wonderful entertainment.
Expansive architecture, high ceilings, spacious enough for large groups and breathtaking to experience. I highly recommend it for any occasion. Small tables with chairs in one area outside the concert hall, but inside the building. Vendor tables were set up nearby along with a permanent concession stand.
Excellent ambience for a show, acoustics quite goodFamily friendly and nice place for an entertaining and enriching evening
Update: The center has contacted me and made it right.I have been to this venue before and never had issues. However, my daughter is in a dance recital at the venue in May. I logged on at the time the tickets were going on sale and I had all the tickets loaded into my cart. As I was trying to pay for them the system shut down. Not only did I not get the tickets I had selected I ended up having to sit way further back then I originally had selected.I understand that there are technical issues that do happen. With that said your team should have stopped the sale of the tickets for that event. I am extremely frustrated and upset. With the amount of money this venue makes from events throughout the year you would think that they would hold tickets for a specific amount of time before another person is able to select/purchase those seats.
Enjoyed show. Nice facility with interested food and drink choices more like a sporting arena. It seemed the ushers needed to be better trained and more familiar with the facility. If they cant direct you to your seat, they should get out of the way and let us find it.
Went to see a play, great small venue but the seats were SO uncomfortable that I had to stand off to the side almost half the time.
This place is very nice! We went to see Leslie Jordan and his show was great! This is a nice place to spend an evening.
Great place for recitals! Im sure other things as well. Clean, lots of available parking and courteous employees!
Saw the clowning around with murder. In living black and white. It was terrific. The theatre is very nice, clean and well run by many volunteers.
Chamber Music International - Ghost Opera by Tan Dun. Amazing performance!
This is a wonderful venue..i just wish they had a variety of acts..and big screens...
Excellent place to see and hear performances. The place has great acoustics.
We just watched Stomp. Out of the 4.5 years dating, we both agreed it was the best show we have seen together! The theater was very nice and clean, too. No issues whatsoever!
Ive never been disappointed with a performance here
Perfect venue for the Vocal Majority concert that we attended!
Nice auditorium, small, good for small programs. even if you sit in the last, you can see the stage clearly.
Nutcracker was amazing. Facilities are very nice.
Fun time.. beautiful performance.
Saw a great play. A bit quant and pricey but the talent makes all the difference. Very convenient to Dart.
This is a great place to watch a concert. The acoustics are really good. I went with friends to see Hermans Hermits.A fun night was had by one and all.
Beautiful building very helpful staff and a wonderful performance
Intimate venue for events, comfortable and well run!
Excellent location. Walkable distance from Galatyn Parkway station as well.
Mangnificient building, great sounding auditorium and professional staff. Coffee could be better though
Valet parking is quick and seating is better than most
Paid extra for boxed balcony seats. Not worth it!!! Most uncomfortable chairs Ive ever sat in. Wound up sitting on the step part of the time. Regular seating is much more comfortable!
The Eisman center has various price ranges We paid $12 each for the highest seats in the house. We took the elevator to the top floor BUT still had to climb 23 steps to get to our seats. However, the Vocal Majority singing group was worth even paying to park two blocks away. They do have valet parking.
Good seating. Nice and clean.
Beautiful performing arts center. Easy access from US 75 and Greenville Ave. Plenty of parking and dining facilities within walking distance. Excellent acoustics.
Beautiful auditorium spacious seating. Replaxing atmosphere
Bathrooms are horribly located and only one elevator to the ground floor of the primary auditorium is absurd. On the bright side, quality entertainment...
We attend several events... Plano Spooky Symphony was latest. Always clean facility. Friendly workers. Snacks including alcohol available for purchase... but check what you can take in to the theatre. Booster seats are available for children or others who have difficulty seeing the performance. Very limited street parking. Garage parking available, usually for $5. Valet parking available as well.
Very nice and clean area. Ushers seemed well trained and everything went as planned. Good venue.
The location is a bit isolated in a mewly developed area of Richardson. We enjoy the performances there because the isnt the congestion of a downtown venue. Parking is not free, but its in a garage and not expensive.Ticket prices are also reasonable, but they dont tend to have top-name talent, either. We enjoy it because its a pretty stress-free evening out.
