Fun little Musem with a short film about the Teton dam breaking and the impact of it. The Musem also some great artifacts from early settlers to the area.

This is such a beautiful building inside and out!! I’ve been there on two different occasions: once for a concert then most recently for a masquerade ball. Both times I was blown away by the lighting, decorations, set up, and acoustics. The sound system was incredible. I loved the seating and the scenery. What a fun place in rexburg!

Love watching plays and recitals and all kinds of things here! The acoustics are amazing! I wish seating were more comfortable and not so close together. And during the summer it would be nice if it had air conditioning, but over all, Id say its a great, beautiful structure! Lots of fantastic architecture!

We attended the Friday evening performance of Handel’s Messiah. The orchestra was excellent, the choir sung beautifully, and the soloists were very good. The arts are alive and well in Rexburg. The acoustics of the tabernacle lend themselves to a performance like the Messiah. We sat in the balcony, but I doubt there is a bad seat in the building. It was the perfect way to begin the weekend before Christmas day.

This is a great historic venue that we are lucky to have in Rexburg! It is in a great location, right in the middle of the downtown area. I attended an Operation Underground Railroad presentation a few months ago and it was great! Good venue for it and very well put together. I know this venue is also used for others events such as concerts, galas, and gatherings. The venue has welcomed The National Parks, Jenny Oaks Baker and Evie Clair. The Rexburg Tabernacle Orchestra also frequently performs here. From the moment you walk in you can feel the essence of what a tabernacle is. The design is very unique and the architecture is rich. The pews aren’t the most comfortable, but that is understandable because they are old. It is neat to have something in Rexburg that is in the National Register. I wish more events were held here, even special guided tours would be neat.I wish we still had more tabernacles around. There is a lot of great history and stories to be heard about this place.

We were there for a Farmers Market Meeting. This building so so pretty! It needs more upkeep to preserve the building. The floor inside looks like it was just concrete I think? Now that Ive finally made it there and checked it out, I really see how important it is to take care of this beautiful building for future generations. Look for ways to contribute and help keep it beautiful! There are many places around the building, inside and outside, to take pictures for weddings, senior pictures, etc. There are many community events there all year round which makes it even more special!

I love the musical performances that they have here. Its not about the money. They are always free and supported by donations. Its a nice place to just experience the culture of music. I love the acoustics and wish they had more comfortable seats.

This stone building is over a hundred years old, is in great condition, and is still used regularly, often for free community events. Floor and balcony seating on wooden benches; a small foyer in the front. Easy to find location close to restaurants, a supermarket, and a bank.

Review №17

Okay for Community meetings and concerts, but the benches are made of wood which can become uncomfortable after an hour or so, and its Acoustics are great which is wonderful for musical concerts but for speaking not-so-great because there are other people speaking and they overwhelm the speaker at the front. Another issue is that their air conditioning and heating doesnt always work. FaceTiming doubtful they have any. Last time I was there was during the summer and they had to open the doors to cool down the place

I visited for a production of the Lamb of God. The venue was BEAUTIFUL! However, it was really warm with all the humans in the room. It detracted a bit from the phenomenal performance because of all the paper fans.
