Outstandingly entertaining place to be in the summer. Though only 2 slides the wave pool actually has decent size waves compared to other water parks and the lap pool has a divider so you can swim laps without random people getting in the way. The food is also pretty good for a water park but the price of the food can get big if you order more than one item which you probably will if you are actively swimming. Also the tickets to get in are insanely cheap. I would recommend this to anyone that wants a cheap but fun place to go in the summer.

Great place to take the kids! There is an admission fee of $8.50 for anyone over 5, but there is loads to do here! From lap swimming to water slides to wave pool to lazy river there is something for everyone! There is even a food stand in case everyone gets hungry. And all this is just a 20 minute drive from Wild Waves (if you wanted something calmer for the day).

Am intimate, quality recreation venue. Renton has provided the community with a much needed indoor and outdoor activities center. From exercise, dance, weightlifting to the outdoor pool everything here is open to the public.

This place was great! Went to special needs night last Saturday. The staff was supportive and fun. The water was warm and inviting. There is something for everyone... Slide. Lazy river. Kiddies section with spray guns and dumpers. A wave pool. Oh and a regular lap pool. Clean and safe. We had a great time and we will be back!

The church rented the place and the kids had so much fun! There was good amount of lifeguards to watch the kids. I like that the wave pool wasnt too deep for the 8yr olds.

Visiting from Utah, I found the physical facility to be great - lazy river, wave pool, slide, etc. So why the bad rating? Because I have been to many community pools, but I have never been harassed by lifeguards like this one.-In the wave pool, they constantly got after kids if they were in water above their shoulders - no matter how well they could swim-If kids were accompanied by an adult, but the adult was more than a foot from them, they would get after the adult.-They only let tubes in the lazy river, unless it was an adult accompanying a small child, but the adult had to have their hands on the tube the whole time or they would yell at them. They also kept getting after anyone who wasnt sitting properly in the tube.Im big on water safety, my kids have all had swim lessons, and I keep a close eye on them in the water, but this was so ridiculous and so annoying, that all the fun I would have had was overshadowed by the constant helicopter lifeguarding.

My family absolutely LOVES this place! I love how it’s outdoors. On a hot day I can still enjoy the sun l, get a tan, and cool off in the water. The slides are fun, I like how you have the option to go down with or without a tube. The wave pool is our favorite! We live right next to Wild Waves and the wave pool is WAY better than theirs. Be careful! The waves might knock you down if you’re standing by the shallow area. This is the first aquatic center I’ve been to with heated water and I LOVED it. It makes It so easy to jump in and stay in! Overall, the venue is clean, staff is friendly. We lost our locker key and the guy who helped us was so nice. It’s great you can bring your own food! I deff recommend this place!!

Inexpensive smaller version of Wild Waves water park located just off the freeway in Renton. I think WW is what $25 or $30 to get in? This place is no more than $8, so youre saving a few bucks. If you are a Renton resident, you get a discount. They operate in 2-3 hour sessions, which can get full quickly, and they have to turn people away but thats never happened to me. The water is luke warm, so it makes it easy to sit and get some sunshine for a few hours and a nice tan. I spent a ton of time here during the summer with my kids and its a def must try. They do have some food options here as well.. Nachos, churros, Corn dogs, Ice cream, and several other quick foods. A day here with a family of 4, $55 bucks for entry and a food item.

Loads of fun in a more intimate sized area. Got our 4 month old started on being in a pool and our 3yr old loves it too. A lazy river, wave pool, lap pool, slides, and a kiddie section, with lots of chairs, some umbrellas and a few tables spots. Changing rooms for family as well as general locker rooms. They even have a little cafe that my husband recently saw they have pretzels and churros, so thatll be tasted soon. Lol

Great place to take the kids! Fun lazy river, wave pool, slides and activity area. Prices are reasonable and tickets go on sale 3 hours in advance of each session so you can grab tickets then come back when the session opens. No need to wait in line.For those saying that the age rule is too high please understand it is a WAC not decided on by the park. I asked and they very nicely showed me the code and explained they have to follow them.

Horrible experience.. my kid was almost drowning and the life guards where no help at all. If his older sister wouldnt have been around god knows what would have happen. I brought this to the supervisor and he only gave me excuses and never apologized. I will take this to further matters. Never going back again.

We love this place. Its small but so clean and well maintained. Went there today for a 2 year olds birthday and last month my daughter had hers here. Was so impressed both times.

The place is really nice with lots of activities, splash toys, water slides (minimum height for big ones), deep pool and a wave pool. There is a concession stand that has cookies, drinks, hot dogs, nachos, pizza and chowder. Its pretty busy as can be expected

At the end of summer they have an open play for dogs! Only $10. Your best friend will probably have a lot more fun at the party if youve already trained them to be comfortable swimming.

They have time slots you come and swim in ours was the 3-6 there was a long line and we waited 5-10 mins past 3 til we got to enter.

Fun place to bring you kids to! Has water slides, lazy river, wave pool, kids shallow water area with slides and a lap pool too. Water is a nice tepid temperature. Snack bar, bathrooms and life jackets to borrow are available within the premises. This place can get crowded on weekends and tickets are available in the morning for the noon timing and at noon for the afternoon. Ticket lines can be very long.

Ive been to hmac 3 times. It took excessively long to get in every time. For a place with a limited amount of time in each session I dont appreciate the Nordstrom treatment at the window.

Took my 2 year old grandson and my adult special needs son... and my 2 other adult children. We had a great time!!!

They are very strict, it might look like a fun pool but it isnt. They are very bossy and thats not fun. And you have to pay extra for the parents to put a foot inside the gate. $45 for 2 children with a non-local parent watching. Children need to be over 13 for a parent to leave them. Cant where nose goggles. You cant keep extra wrist bands on collected from other pools. Im not going back.I know better pools. Maya, age.9

There’re different prices for residents of Renton and non-residents, but even the non-residents price is inexpensive. It’s worth a visit even you don’t live in Renton. They also offer many levels of swimming lessons in Summer. Great staffs and teachers.

Little short but enough things to do for 7 yr and 5yr kids.

Fantastic outdoor community center pool. Reasonably priced, clean, and a ton of fun. The only reason this isnt 5 stars is that the ticket process requires you drive there the day of, buy your tickets, leave and then come back later for your session. If you live further away (I do), its a pain.

I have never been here. I called before I came because I wanted to know all the rules. I was told it was $8 for people who live in Renton and $15 elsewhere. I asked if there was any other rules, they said no. I get there with three teenagers and Im told that they need a chaperone to pay to get in even if theyre not swimming. I said okay I guess she forgot to tell me that on the phone, I have shorts in my car. Then I proceeded to go swimming in my shorts and Im told I cannot swim without swimming shorts. The staff here are teenagers who do not care about their summer job and informing customers. If you want real information maybe go online or if you call ask to speak to a manager because the teenager on the phone will not tell you any information.

Convince stand workers were nice, lifeguards seemed unwelcoming. Very crowded in the wave pool at times. Food was decent, and sanitary. A little overpriced just to walk in, but was a fun experience for the most part.6.7/10

Way over priced, got kids running the place (teenagers), get old fast. Way to many people in the wave pool at one time. But my 4 year old loved it. Will not be going back there again.

Not as clean as it used to be, but the pools are great. Be careful in the locker room, the floor is very slippery.

Super cheap fun...not over crowded due to compacity rules...sessions make it so everyone can have a chance to swim without bumping elbows with too many kids! Its nice and I like that its small!

We love coming to the H.M. Aquatic Center in the summer on certain Fridays to watch a movie and swim in the pool. Fun Friday family outing

This place is absolutely terrible. You basically cant do anything except sit in the water, otherwise youre getting yelled at by rude teenage lifeguards left and right. I stood in line for about 15 minutes to get my son a corn dog, just for them to say when I get to the window that they arent ready and I couldnt preorder food. So I get back in the long line and wait the 10 minutes I was told for the corn dog to be ready, which the girls working the window could see me and my son every minute. Get back up to the window for the second time and the girl has a smirk on her face tryna tell me they have no corn dogs left. I semi went off because the service was so horrible and they didnt care one bit. I will not be returning here. Save your money and go somewhere else. I never take the time to write reviews but todays experience was so terrible that this is necessary. As were leaving the girl asks if we want our wristbands cut off, I say sure. Then she asks if we had a good time and I flat out say no, with her response being ok then in this disgusting attitude. This water park is a joke.

Great activity for the family. They are very high on saftey and are really friendly. The public swim times are limited but reasonably priced. Memberships for the summer for Renton residents a a good price. They offer swimming lessons off the peak times which is great to have a heated pool to tea h the kids in.

Nice local waterpark with discounts for residents. Ticketing is kind of lame, but if you just go in the morning, then take a walk on the trail next door, you can head to the waterpark when it is open!

Very nice place but be prepared to be aggravated!! I have NEVER been to a pool where you have to buy tickets 3 hours prior to swimming!! Then, theres a huge line of people waiting to buy said tickets???!!! Then, you finally get back to swim only to have to wait in line to get into the park!! A lot of aggravation for 3 1/2 hours of swim time!!
