It’s the same deal with all soccer clubs in the USA. Everything depends on your coach. Some coaches are good, some coaches are bad. My experience with this club was not good. There were some good moments, but the manner in which I left was very bitter. I always felt under appreciated. I know I train harder than my teammates, and I got to a point where I should have been valued as a crucial player. BECAUSE THAT’S WHAT I WAS! And my coaches even admitted that to me in the summer. For the first time since I arrived at the club, my coaches admired that I was a key player. So what went wrong? Fall comes around and I start missing practices from overuse because I was training for cross country. I still made an effort for the team, but the coaches basically stopped playing me all together..... It was a little harsh, but I guess they wanted to prove a point (which I most certainly received), however, they continued to limit my playing time even after I showed up to every practice and game. Eventually I started to lose confidence, after getting little game time. My level of play dropped and I started making more mistakes. They continued to limit my playing time, and wouldn’t forgive my mistakes, as they would for other players. I realized that my confidence would never return unless I found it within myself to prove them wrong........... which I did. I returned to my summer form, and had good performances, yet they still limited my playing time. At this point it was annoying, but I figured I’d continue my form until they trusted me again. BUT THEY NEVER DID. I finally quit after they left me out of their most important game. I thought I was done with them, but then I got a call from my coach begging for me to come back. Practice had already started up again, but I decided to give them another chance. First game back they played me for half the game... fair enough, I missed some practices. Second game back they played me for half the game. Then the third, then the fourth. Every game they played me for half the game regardless of how well I played. I was finally done with them when I had the game winning assist in the only game we won that season, and they didnt even start me in the next game. There was nothing I could do. Coaches have the favorites and I had fallen out of favor. Please take this as a warning. I’m disappointed. I didn’t have to be this way; but soccer was out of my control, and I wouldn’t trust this club if I were you. They might stab you in the back. Find yourself an honest club that cares about your potential.:(
I have had 3 children play for this club over the past 7 years. Much more affordable than other clubs in the area. They have attracted very high quality coaches. They offer many specialized training opportunities. And they understand when school and family come first. Positive coaching, supportive families, and a true feeling of community make this a top-notch soccer club.
My daughter has been with the program for two years and steps onto the field everyday with a smile on her face. Coaches are energetic, challenging, and communicate well with players and parents. It’s truly becoming a family.
My daughter has played with Cascade Premier for more than six years. Its been a great experience for her and our entire family. Her abilities have excelled beyond what we imagined with this club and were so thankful for it!
We pay a lot of money so they cancel soccer practice . Communication not the greatest They cancel practice and they dont let us know on time.
