Everything was fantastic except for the slowest waitress known to man. The food was great and good atmosphere and music.

We had a great time. Sylvia was delightful. Facility has some nice upgrades (bathrooms). Will definitely return.

I seen Evil dead 2 the musical here and I sat in the splash zone. Staff got everyone in quickly, they have two separate drink lines which is helpful. The seats are a bit too close together so when the lady in front of me kept flipping her hair she would get it in my drink each time but it was too loud for me to ask her to stop while the show was going. Wouldnt mind coming back but maybe they could start putting tops on drinks since youve got zero space between seats? I would see another show here I think.

Its a nice example of an old theatre that seems to be in good shape and looks and feels good. It reminds me of theaters from when I was much younger. I found the seating comfortable for the 2 hours I was there.

A great play by local youth from different high schools. My kids had a close friend in a play so we went to see him. The parking was easy and the prices were good. I love that they support local youth drama programs!

This theatre has the old timey feel from that long past era when going to the theatre was the thing to do. Its warm and comfortable with great acoustics. We saw Nun Crackers and it was absolutely perfect! The venue was awesome, the Troup worked wonderful together, and everyone had a great time!

Fun times at small community stage presentations. Small refreshment stand. Good accoustics.

Entertaining plays, comfortable chairs, and interesting people. We became Season Ticket Members after attending a few times.

The Butler Did It was a fun little two act play with some funny and quirky characters. Very entertaining

While the theater itself could use some updating, and theyre always working on it, the performances are outstanding. Drawing talent from all over the PacNW it puts on a great variety of shows that fit for all types of audiences. Also love that they allow your theater purchased adult beverages into the theater with you. This 2019-2020 season has a great line up and 12 Angry Men, the kick off for the season, is really well done. BRAVO!

Ive yet to actually see inside the Theater.Or see a Live show.Ive only seen Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Old Lewis & Clark theater and Bowling Alley. Yes. I am dating myself here.But... based on the pictures on the outside... Ill be visiting them.Hopefully soon!!

What an adorable theater. We attended a production of Shrek from the talented drama department at Renton Christian School. The seats are new and we found them to be extremely comfortable. Plenty of legroom, great lighting, etc. Parking was limited but, now that I know, I will show up earlier to search for better street parking.

I went there for and audition. Had a time slot and got there 30 mins before. No official who was hosting the audition showed up, answered the phone or the door. I waited an hr and a half without any explication from the host and then left.

Saw Aunt Dotties Cabaret. It was lots of fun.

This place feels like old Town America. Not fancy, but homey and family friendly.

Talent and entertainment for a minimal cost. Whats not to love?

What a great performance of Nunsense!! Voices, choreography, everyone was marvelous. Renton Civic theater never disappoints.

We were there and watched a wonderful play that just made everyone laugh and we all had a really nice time my only smoke and plate is that the lobbyists very small and the seats in the theater are pretty small so your average person its a little tight but other than that tremendous experience

It was the last show of the season and we were just driving by looking for a place for dinner and on a whim we decided to see if any tickets were available. Lucky us! The show was delightful and an amazing performance of Cabaret. Hats off!!

Our school has their annual play here. It is a nice venue .

Fun show, we had a lot of fun. Pleasantly surprised to find they served beer, wine and spirits.

Really nice and intimate theater. There are no bad seats or really bad views and it is easy to hear everything. Seating could be better by being staggered so there is no head in front of you and replacing the original 1939 seats is next on their renovation menu. Nice small bar and some refreshments. Many different plays and events available.

Ive only ever seen one show here (twice), but that show was Evil Dead: The Musical and that show alone warrants five stars. Well be back for the next showing

Unique Little Theater it seats about 120 I saw a play there Its a Wonderful Life I thought the lead and all the actors were incredible it was actually entertaining they even sell snacks and refreshments real fun environment to just go relax and enjoy downtown Renton

Friendly staff, small town feel, sold out show, with one of my favorites; Its A Wonderful Life adapted for the stage, and acted out superbly by the company all made this visit lovely and memorable. We highly recommend The Renton Civic Theatre as a nostalgic and cultural experience.

After seeing a show last season we decided to buy season tickets this year. Its hard to describe this theater and their productions without everything sounding like back handed compliments. The whole place is a bit shabby, the costumes and sets dont stand up to close scrutiny and the acting can sometimes be inconsistent. And yet all of that only adds to the charm. The building is a classic, the costuming and sets never get in the way of the story and there are always stellar performances from both leads and supporting players. (And even the occasional not so stellar actor is always clearly having a great time.) The fact is, Ive seen some very big productions of some very big plays on some very big stages, but this theater I will keep coming back too.

What a charming evening! My lady friend and I went to see the Christmas Sherlock Holmes play, thoroughly enjoyed it! Very quaint and cozy atmosphere. All the folks there were very friendly and helpful. We cant wait for the next production! Id forgotton how much more rewarding it is to see live theatre, than going to a movie. Do yourself a favor and try this fine theatre! Youll be glad you did!

It is a very nice little theater but parking sucks

Shows its age as an older venue, but the seats were comfy and the parking for an evening show was plentiful, so I still give it high marks!

Nice venue, good production but do not buy discount seats will be assigned by box office tickets on third party sites. We were sat on super uncomfortable cheap chairs that ruined the show for me. Someone in front of us called it the Groupon section - other folks left at intermission. According to their website they got got new seats but unfortunitely we were not given these seats on a sold out night.

Saw Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde here. Small very intimate. No bad seats. There were some minor sound issues. But the over all show was very enjoyable. Recommend. Very good community theatre.

Funky old building right in downtown Renton that puts on some very good shows for really cheap, tickets are typically 25$ or less and every seat in the house has a great view of the stage. They sell drinks and some small snack foods that youre allowed to bring in the theatre.

Ive seen a few plays here and Ive enjoyed them all. The place is small so there isnt a bad seat in the house. This isnt a grand theater. If youre looking for something like the Paramount or the 5th Ave Theater, youre going to be disappointed. However, if you want to see a great show at a really affordable price without being crowded into an over-sized theater, then this is the place!

Every time I go here, I feel comfortable. I would highly recommend it to others.
