Shuga Jazz Bistro is one of the jewels of Renton. They regularly have great live performances in addition to a beautiful bar and top notch menu. The food is well prepared and Ive never had a complaint about the service in the years I have been a patron. The owner is a delight too.

Great experience...The music was amazing! The vocalist had a really crisp voice.The prices of food were kinds spendy for what they offer, BUT over all it was an AMAZING EXPERIENCE...STRONG DRINKS! YEAAAAAASSSSS!

Best to try it out when there is live music. Food is good. Waitstaff could be a bit more attentive. My experience was on a friday between 6pm to 8pm. Expect to spend $70+ for two. Give it at least one try :)

Enjoyed the southern food (fried chicken and collards) along with a really great band - The Old School Fellas. Classic R&B and funk. A really fun evening.

Atmosphre is nice and clean that is a plus. However...The staff and host are not very friendly. The service is very very very poor.( slow!)Food was cold by the time we recived it! and was average at best. Jazz was good but the acoustics were awful!
