This is a fun club! Mostly design for people under 40 Id say. Bowling, video games, darts, billiards, TV turn to a sporting events, and a great selection of music videos playing at the same time. A nice bar and knowledgeable bartenders. We came in the afternoon every Sunday quite slow but if youre looking for some action this would be a place to visit. Give him a try

We had a great experience celebrating my wife’s birthday. The pizza tasted great and the staff was warm, friendly, and took good care of us. We love the location in the center of downtown to got walk around and check other fun spots out and art. We’ll definitely will be back.

Great place to hang out if u want to dine and go bowling. Also a great place to hold a special event that you want to hold. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

This is a great place to hang out. It has bowling, darts, pool tables, air hockey, a few arcade games, and dancing on select nights. Friday night was a great night to go, decent music and decent drinks. Its agreat place to meet up and hang out for a bit.

The clientele at the bar while we were there was less than intelligent life forms, and the bartender wasnt much better.

Its a cool little spot. When I was there it wasnt what I was expecting. It seems like a fun spot but we didnt get a hello or any kind of service.. Maybe this will change next time we go..

A group of us went at 3PM and had the place to us. We all had a great time bowling and playing pool. The six lanes are all New Brunswick equipment. Happy with that.

We went in, early, on a Saturday evening. We were told there was an hour and a half wait for a lane, which if fine, they have pool tables. The pool tables are cramped up right next to the bathrooms which makes a game difficult, but we gave it a shot. While we were playing pool, an employee came over and told us to finish up our game because they were closing the pool tables for the night, this was maybe 9:30pm and only our second game in. After 2 hours we finally got our shoes and bowling lane. Out of the hour we payed for, we got to play for about 40 minutes because the lane kept malfunctioning. After the hostess told us she would fix it add more time, she forgot, we got tiered of waiting, and left. However; if you like really loud, poorly mixed music, and drinks that vary in price by the minute- this is a perfect spot.

Getting into this place is kind of like going to jail. You pay the $10 cover charge then you get patted down and searched. Then you go downstairs and there are about 10 security guards standing around watching your every move. The drinks and bowling was way over priced. The only thing good was the music. Won’t go there again.

Super awesome! Went with a couple of freinds and paid for an hour of bowling. They have food and provided the shoes. Also have an arcade with a bar. Really nice, cool atmosphere. And the girl at the front desk was super helpful. Definitely going there again.

GO TO THIS BAR IF YOU ENJOY THE FOLLOWING:***-Poor management/risk management-Poor quality/crowd control-unethical dynamic pricing that changes by the hour....*If you read poor-reviews of this place youll notice three themes..1.) Bar is dirty, staff is inattentive to guests when it is not busy.2.) If you are not a young morally-subjective college female, bartenders do not take your order.3.) Prices are inconsistent and are at a premium much above market---------Heres my actual experience on 5/25/19.....I was there with my best friends wife and her three friends. Along the night, I got removed from my group and was dancing by myself on the floor. Next thing I know Im getting a dirty look from a young-latino male with glasses and a man-bun.Next event is receiving a swing to my jaw which I was able to duck. I then proceed to defend myself as I was not antagonistic. I get blind sided in my left head, and wake up on the floor to security guards pulling on me. The guards grabbed my arm, and neck, then realized I was not the instigator.-Needles to say-IT WAS A 25 MINUTE PROCESS AND THEY DID NOT KICK THE OTHER GROUP OUT!I then walk up to the guard who specifically said contact me when you see who punched you and we will kick him out. Then another 10 minute process and I am escorted out the back of the bar. I am now detached from my friends, I have had six beverages by this time, with no service and no car. The group who definably jumped me is waiting for me, and tries to instigate another fight. Now its me (57 130lbs.) out in front of The Rack against six other people, three of which were males.SECURITY IS BLATANTLY IGNORING US AND ALLOWING THEM TO THREATEN AND PUT THEIR HANDS ON ME REPEATEDLY.I turn the corner, find a warm area and sit down in a dark corner alley. A car passes me with individuals hanging out all four windows muttering something derogatory and related to my ethnicity.The first article that pops up on The Rack when you Google it describes it essentially as an all inclusive family fun center.Upon reading reviews this is a very common theme at The Rack. Well, theyre LLC expires July 31st.If you had a similar experience with any one issue listed above, like this comment. Prices are high for my selection of beers. But they have an amazing selection and a few oddballs. Monthly bucket of craft is 15 for 5 (3 bucks each) and selection has been decent. I assure you, if you show up too early and see it dead, wait a bit, it gets poppin real quick. Door guys are amazing to say the least, doing their duty well. About sums it up, I suppose.

Management could be better, bowling alley isnt great and would be better going to a real alley. Old arcade games would be good if they actually worked, they pretty much all broken with something not working. Bar is fine. This place could be better if management was better. If the bowling alley is having a problem make sure you get your money back asap.

This place is awesome. It appeals to the family’s along with the party crowd. The prices are fair and there is always a deal. You can bowl, play darts, or dance. I love this place!

Neat atmosphere and pleasant, helpful staff

I was visiting from out of town, and this place was great find! Word to the wiser, there are only like 6 lanes for bowling, but there are different arcade games you can play and they have a full bar where you can sit and play darts and pool. Children are allowed before 9/10pm, and their shoe rentals look clean and new. The place has a really cool hipster, rustic vibe to it, that our party enjoyed. If you like to bowl, the lanes are awesome! Will definitely go back and recommend for groups 2-8 ppl.

You shouldnt have to pay for a cover charge just to get into a bar. That aside I went when it was quite looks nice however, prices for drinks are too much and not sure how anyone could order food their. However, this is party central especially when the university is in fall or spring session.

Cool place was only there for a little while. Was told we could smoke then was told we couldnt then they closed the doors on us 30 minutes early. So probably wont go back anytime soon.

Went in on Saturday 2/17/18 around 7:00pm. Place was trashed! No one acknowledged us when we walked in. 2 of the lanes were open but had empty glasses and dirty plates. All of the stools around the bar were missing. No one even seemed to be working! My wife and I left immediately and wont be back. Based off the website for the place we were really excited to visit. But after 2 minutes we realized we were mistaken.

Not that impressed. The music could be better and the prices are a little high. Id rather spend time in the loving cup.

I was there with a large group (reserved). They were not staff to handle a group our size.

Cool spot, lots of arcade and bar games to play. Only 6 bowling lanes and is kinda squished together so get there early if you want a lane. Bar is well stocked, good bottle selection and a solid beer list. Downside is as the night gets later the music gets louder and it kinda turns into a club vibe, cool if thats what your into.

I wanted some fried picked and saw they had some on there menu. Had to get the guys attention a couple of times just to order. When I got the fried pickles they were shaped like fries and ober cooked. Drinking on the job. I wont come here again.

The floor was sticky and I stuck to the floor at the bar. Service was slow, took forever to get waited on by bartender, even though they were not busy. Bowling was fine put once again the floor was sticky in places.

Its a fun place overall but the prices are inconsistent through out the night. We bought 3 pitchers of beer and each one was a different price.

Great place, minus the womens bathroom its always extremely filthy an disgusting. An the floors are always sticky an the drinks are a tad pricy. But the music is always good.

I love the rack! They only have a few bowling lanes but the prices are amazing and the drinks are great! The food and the staff are also great and you get a free shot of Vodka when you sign up to be on their email list!

Way too expensive for an hr of bowling. would not recommend, price wise. only has 5 lanes. more of a bar then anything.

Only saw 6 lanes total, unless there are more in another part of the facility. We were originally on lane 5 and had to switch mid-game after the lane malfunctioned twice in less than 15 minutes. Fiancee and I had one drink each, prepaid one hour of bowling + shoes for 2 adults and 1 child and shelled over almost $50 for the whole experience. Nice atmosphere but very overpriced and crowded.

The waitress was nice. Thats it.

Security didnt let me in when I had a legitimate out of state over 21 ID. I understand they were doing their job since they thought it was fishy and didnt make a fuss about it, but Im disappointed they couldnt do better.

The locatin is right on the corner of 1st and virginia street so you have to park at the Cal-neva which is at your own risk. It is cold, the staff is half anorexic, half dead looking. The bartender was pretty nice and helpful did not get her name. The food was way to salty and way over priced unless ordering from the kids menu. The place was pretty clean but very cold, new dartboard and pool tables. Would go there again if it was a last resort.

This would be a 2 star review but there is a smoking room where you can smoke inside. You could probably burn a doinks if you were sneaky.

If youre a low life and are searching for a low to get laid by another low life, please come here. 1st time there and I almost immediately left. Not a great crowd.However, I did go later on in the night (around 1ish).All in all, if youre going here, make it one of your first stops, before the hoodlums come.
