This trail is awesome! So serene with its little stream throughout and cows grazing. You can take your time or walk fast or jog. A lovely trail over all...

This trail provides level as well as incline/decline. Pets on a leash are welcome. There is a variety of landscape -- forest, stream, fields, bamboo, shady and open areas. Several benches along the trail provide opportunities to sit and soak in nature. The only reason this is a 4 and not a 5 star rating is the toilet facilities. These are only located at the trail head near the parking lot. One more toilet facility location along the trail would be helpful.

My family and I enjoy going on a quiet walk there. A lot of history is on the trail. The history and the outdoors reveal their self on this well maintained walking trail with a pond, a generator/pump house, a man made dam and covered picnic tables. Nice to visit. It is also neat to see the cows along the trail grazing.

I get my exercise on this beautiful, well-kept trail on a daily basis. For those wondering about the availability of a restroom, there is a solar-powered, composting toilet that is typically cleaned daily. An officially timed 5-K race - Run with the Cows - is held here annually to raise funds for trail maintenance costs. Great bird watching opportunities. I absolutely LOVE this place!

Ive been walking here for 15 years and it never gets old. Around each bend is a new and unique view! Its peaceful and relaxing yet offers some hills to get your heart rate going. Its stroller and wagon friendly for those with children. My son started in a wagon when the trail was rougher and graduated to pulling it himself while stopping to fill it with leaves and acorns. When he was older, I took him and a friend for a nature hike. They gathered all kinds of items to take to the library for identification! We have also enjoyed walking our dogs here. Its an all-weather trail for all ages to enjoy! We love it!

Nice loop trail, although part of it is just through a cow pasture. If youre in the area, check it out for a nice, relatively quick walk with some cool history behind it and a nice lake and dam. But God have mercy on your soul if you think about catching some Pokemon in the neighboring field.

Br
Review №95

Well maintained walking trail with sections of boardwalk. Roughly 1.7mi trail loop is easy to walk and offers a diverse view of nature and animals. From turtles, fish and water fowl to the cows grazing in the rolling fields. We walked the loop with our 3 children with minimal issues, our 2-yo needed to be carried for sections due to periodic lack of tree cover causing extreme heat while in the fields.PSA: Use of UAVs (drones) on or above the property is Strictly Prohibited via signs posted around the property. The postings urge people to call 911 immediately in the event of drone use.

This walking trail has been upgraded to where even after a rain you can walk here. There is boardwalk areas where it used to be mushy muddy after it rains. There is also gravel on most of the trail. It is a nice place to walk. It is quiet and had wonderful views of nature great for taking pictures.
