Cute little park in the middle of Redmond. There are cabins in the park and lots of benches and walkways. The park is really pretty with evergreens bordering the outside.
Excellent place for kids and families in the heart of Redmond downtown to play and have picnics. They have huts so you can reserve for your kids birthday parties or anything else. Specially in summer this park is mostly full of people having fun. Close to Redmond elementary school. They have public restrooms too. Many kids friendly shops like McDonalds are nearby in case looking for food.
I like this park because, obviously, I bear its name. But it also has plenty of tree coverage, park benches, and these cabins everywhere that just give it kind of a unique feel. You can walk and get food in any direction.
Its a lovely location with older trees and a lot of socially distant benches, making it a nice destination even now.
The area is very pretty. Had a great time relaxing in the grass.
Good place to to social distance. Nice shady place to relax. Not really enough space to something active but a good place to do calisthenics or yoga. Good place to bring young kids to get out there energy .
Nice, well-maintained park! Plenty of parking and easy access. COVID-friendly spacing between tables.
Nice little park to take a morning or evening walk. The parking place could be improved.
Small. In middle of traffic and loud neighborhood. Good if live nearby.. Not a place to travel to.
Love this park! Quaint 100+ year old structures large trees great relaxation station
It has a great playground and its open to public.
An okay neighborhood park in the middle of downtown Redmond. However if youre driving here, there is no parking ... And youre better off going to downtown park or marymoor. This park gets a lot of traffic noise, being surrounded by busy intersections.
Pleasant with log-cabin like buildings, including some you can rent; picnic tables; quite a variety of trees with a lot of shade; kids playing areas.
Nice little park, we had our daughter birthday in one of the shades couple of years ago.
Great park with playground, sand area, and grassy area. Be aware it is not fenced and surrounded by busy roads.
Nice wooded park in Redmond. Street parking along sides.Couple play areas and well spaced picnic tables with lots of free space
Small space with tall trees in the middle of Redmond downtown.
Small and clean place. Good for little walk
Lots of open area to play. The playground has lots of toys that kids love to use, like a swing set or multiple slides. There are also cabins that you can rent and live in. Very fun!
Great park. Can be some challenges with parking at times but still fun. Playground, grassy areas, and fun buildings.
Excellent location in the heart of downtown Redmond. Great kids play area with a sand pit. Also has a shelter for the rainy days
Good place for social distancing lunch
A great little park in the middle of Redmond.
Great place near downtown Redmond. In summer, best cool shade. Also cool kids area and large sandbox. Picnic area and outdoor grills available
The walking paths are well maintained, and nature is really closer by. Enjoy.
This is an awesome park with a playground in the heart of Redmond! Its got street parking seeing the sides as well as a small parking lot next to the playground. (Technically the parking lot belongs to a church, but youre welcome to park there if its not Sunday.) Theres a small play structure and a large play structure, teeter totter, tire swing, swings, and a large sandbox. There are flat sidewalks good for small kids on balance bikes or strollers. The lawns are big as well. There are bathrooms and a water fountains, but those get turned off / locked during the winter. The whole thing is ringed by hedges, so even though its right on Redmond Way, I feel quite safe with the kids there.
Always a great park but the bathrooms remind you of that time you were upstate
Nice place to hang out with kids.
Nicely kept park. Lots of grass area. Actual playground is small but clean and fun!
Outdoor theater. Amazing play park. Historic buildings. All in a compact well wooded area in heart of Redmond. My favorite childhood park
Anderson Park is huge. It is on the side of a rather steep hill. There are two large ovals on the lower section neatly cut into the hill side. As you go further up there are a number of concrete paths for a quiet walk. Take a seat or spread out a picnic rug and watch the sun set and then enjoy the city lights. Lovely. There is a barbecue and a childrens play ground that was recently completely redone. The park is often home to many a party and at Christmas time it is the scene of many company Christmas parties. Although it is not a botanical gardens type of park it is popular and there are plenty of trees for shade when needed.
A small park in Redmond, its nice to visit. Parking is on the perimeter side streets, surrounding the park. There are a few picnic tables, a childrens play structure and benches scattered throughout its small property.
It’s a great spot for kids and there are spaces for parties too. Very well maintained playground. Dedicated parking lot for this park and also plenty of free parking available around the park on the street. It relatively small park compared to some other parks in the area but it’s a lot of fun for kids.
Park in the middle of the city. Well maintained. Small huts are good for parties. Bathrooms are clean. Perfect for families.
Beautiful little park, well maintained. Gorgeous tall fir trees. Great playground. Log cabins galore!
Nice park with good play area.. sand pit, swings and slides for kids.. picnic shelters and tables. Restrooms are maintained clean.
When I was there a summer camp group in orange vests had taken over the playground so that was probably a little crowded but otherwise the park was great. The grounds are really well cared for: lush green grass and pretty planted beds, tall old shady trees. There are no trails or hikes here since its just a city block or so. There is space to throw a frisbee or a football.I was there to kill some time and I did it pleasantly at a picnic table near the cabins. There were at least three picnic tables as well as a shelter you can rent. I looked in the windows of the cabins and saw that they are well set up to host small meetings with foldable tables and chairs and some presentation equipment.I will definitely go back here. Its cool on a hot day and its a great place to read or meet with friends.
Love to come play here. Clean, safe and friendly
Great enviroment
Looks so beautiful but so out of place. Way too much business surrounding such a nice place. Out numbered by apartment buildings with even more being built. Just wish the park didnt have a square of traffic constantly surrounding it
Very nice park for kids...near to transit center also.
I have rented a cabin for my kids birthday party. It is a warm, cozy place. Looks amazing inside.
Beautiful park with a playground and a picnic shelter. Had my daughter birthday there, kiddos had a great time.
Parking seems to be a bungle yet the Church of Scientology allows you to park there as long as you dont interfere with the services lovely Log Cabin area effect
Its a small playground that is well maintained. My sons always have a great time here.
Nice in city park. Historical buildings. Nice place for kids.
Nice little park. And it didnt cost millions of dollars. So so parking, love the massive trees.
Ample street parking, cozy and convenient in the middle of a busy area. Play area is great for young kids, my son likes to enjoy bike ride in and around.
Love to walk around this park after work in the morning playing Harry Potter game! Lots of everything stops in the park and around the block
This is a great place for a get together, to let kids play, or to just hang out in the sun.
Wonderful playground and its a beautiful place to relax
Oasis in the middle of a concrete jungle. Nice place
Cute quiet little park in the heart of Redmond. Nice for lil strolls any time of day or night
This park is a really fun place for kids. I unfortunately did have a bad experience with the restrooms here. My daughter wouldnt use them because they do not have toilet seats, and there was a lady with a bird in her hair (I guess it was a pet, appeared to be a parakeet), and a lot of luggage in the bathroom, like someone was living in there or perhaps just moving from one location to another in the midst of the day. Based on how nice and upscale everything else seemed at this park I didnt expect either the low quality bathroom facility or the homeless bathroom use, though the latter does make sense.
Very much so a nice place to to on a sunny day
Play ground and field.Granddaughter recommends more toys to play on.
Decent hall to host bday parties, playground makes it an ideal place to celebrate kid birthdays.
Its a park. But it has nice shade and big open areas! Does get crowded though.
Lovely playground near the Kirkland public library and pool.
Great shaded park, safe toys on woodchips. Swings amd tire swing. Tall trees around huge green lawn perfect for games. Small gravel parking lot right next to park. Covered bbq areas great for parties.
Its not to crowded as to some parks, the scenery is beautiful, people are nice and friendly.
Only downside is that the bathrooms are closed down in the winter. There is a porta potty on site though.
Nice play area for kids.. my son loved it..
A small park for kids, small independent rooms for parties, lots of trees.
My kids and I love this park. A wonderful oasis of green on the edge of downtown Redmond with a big playground, lot of large old growth trees, and some neat historical buildings. There are sometimes homeless people hanging out under the shelter but they have always been harmless and mostly keep to themselves.
My kid loves this place.. the slides, the swings, bridges and the seesaw and so much more
This place is good. Baby enjoyed playing in the play area. It is good for partying and barbecue. Only problem is parking. Other than that it is a good experience.
Great place to celebrate kids birthday parties, well maintained park!
Great park. Well kept.
A small family park with ample space for exercise and picnicing. A nice neighborhood location to tou h the green grass close to lots of apartments and shopping.
It is a small park surrounded on all sides by busy roads in Redmond. Cabins are available for rent. There is a small children play area.
Great park my kid thinks its his park because weve been going their his entire life. Great to bring a blanket and lay out in the sun or shade and watch the kids play and have a picnic. Only complaint is that the covered sitting area is plagued with homeless and drug dealers makes me nervous when the kids run over trying to play their, the dealers drop off their kids to play and leave them their unattended while they do their business elsewhere. Several times this last summer teenagers were coming over blasting music with curse words while hogging the swings and even had the police called on them to kick them out. Sad to see it going downhill. During winter bathrooms are closed im assuming because the homeless will live in their otherwise
Really cute and calming kids park ..
My kids had a fabulous time there!!! Its a nice spot for families!!!
Beautiful park, great play area for children and nice walking paths
The kids always have a great time at this park. I like the paved trails kids can ride on and they have a great play structure and little sand pit. Covered party space available for reservations. Also, they have bathrooms and a drinking fountain!
Been going here since I was younger, fun for the whole family or friends. Buildings available for rent for parties and get togethers.
Beautiful park for the kids.
Small and clean park with sufficient play area
Very nice park. The park has swings and modules as well as picnic tables. You can rent area with roof and even small cabins for party or events. The grass is very green and there is always spot to be on shade. Lots of big trees. It is also in a good location if you live near downtown Redmond. It does not have water structures.
It a nice quiet park in the middle of Redmond. Nice big grass field and two nice play structures. 2 small slides and one big one.
Great trees and lawns, lots of places to play and picnic.
Nice park with a central location. Swings also for little ones, monkey bar, hanging slider, three slides (one big and two smaller for little ones), two play structures, picnick tables, some grass area for running and small games, public restroom, shelter nearby, ... Something for all my kids aged between 1-6y. There is always some families, especially on sunny days it might get a bit too crowded. Parking along the roadside or at parking lot of the church which is located next to park (it is allowed to use only if they dont have any events in a church).
Nice little Small park in the middle of Redmond downtown.
Nice and clean
Nice place for kids to enjoy.
The cabin facilities here are really awesome to host functions.
Nice place for kids to play
Very friendly crowd. Definitely making a trip back from Bothell.
Bring my kids here all the time.. also has a grill and gazebo.
Its not a closed ground. Kids can easily get onto the road. Other than that its a good ground.
One of the kids favorite parts. The large climbing gym is the most popular. There are 2 main sections devided by the game fields. The upper part has climbing rocks and things for smaller kids and picnics. The lower part has the climbing and adventure areas, including a smaller one for toddlers. The Park is safe in general.I cannot give it 5 stars as the bottom can be quite muddy so careful about letting kids run there. The muddy area is grass covered but you sync some. So use the pathways.
I hate it the play structures are horrible and theyre insects everywhere I recommend no one to come here ever again
