This is a golf course squeezed into the area. I must say before, I cant stand courses that are designed like this. The front 9 is good. The back 9 is a joke. #12, Sasquatch is one of the worst holes I have ever seen. Bear Mountain Ranch has worse, but the back 9 is a lot alike. Steep hills, blind shots, can only see the top forth of the flag stick. No thanks. There are better courses if youre going to spend that much.

I find this course quite challenging. I dont play it often and see where some more frequency and course knowledge would be helpful with club selection and so on. Conditions were good for a course that gets as much play as it does.

For $100 on a weekday at the end of October, one might expect a smile, minimal courtesy, a water at the first tee, reasonable yardage markers, or greens that play like a putting surface. But alas, none of those happened.

Always slow for the first five holes. No more water issues this year - course is in better shape. Probably the worst of the Oki courses but still a fun day.

Ke
Review №10

This could be a good golf course. But the maintenance is piss poor, particularly the greens. Putting surfaces are beat to hell all of the time, and is not worth the Oki price they charge. The fairways are also dried out and patchy. Do not play here if you expect decent conditions

The course needs some help. They are not maintaining the bunkers. Fairways are a bit beat up. Greens were very nice. Staff was awesome.

Redmond Ridge is a great course with a lot of change from hole to hole. No two holes repeat and there is plenty of challenge. It had some summer issues earlier in the year but is recovering nicely.I hope to see the tee boxes get a bit more love. The Par3s boxes seem to get a bit torn up (By people like me)like most other courses in the wet northwest.

I played here today for the first time and thought the course was great. I do think that $80 is overpriced but most of the Oki courses are steep. The pace of play was excellent (4 hrs on the nose) which I was pleasantly surprised with since it was busy today. The greens were perfect as were most of the fairways (some holes like 3 were wet but thats not surprising considering the location). The course has some nice par 3s and a few very tough holes (3 is a beast). The only dumb hole is 13 because the second shot is a bit too blind.Overall I had a great experience here and Ill definitely play it again...during twilight :)

I played in August with a morning start. I enjoyed myself and I enjoyed the golf course. The greens were very good nice, smooth and readable. And the course itself has a very interesting layout. I also saw a Sasquatch in the woods. The Sasquatch was on the left of the cart path on the hole with an American flag sticking way up to let you know where the green is way below. Yeah, surprise! Hes hidden in the forest about 10 yards in on the left.Yeah the course could use some work and Im sure theyve got huge challenges. I didnt find the course condition to be a problem. The staff was awesome a whole lot of smiling faces and we all had a very good golf outing. The staff in my opinion was money. Keep it up you are the key!Oh and there were a couple of holes between the green and the next tee box that were like long nature adventures through the woods on a paved road. Those two trips through the woods made me forget I was there to play golf. Just exaggerating but it was a very nice trip x2.

Course is great, great putting green, driving range is boring and could use some 50 yard targets. The range green at 300 yards is a bit pointless too.

Was cold at tee time 930am.. was told it would be on temps until it warmed up. By the 6th hole it was 40 degrees out and sunny.. the greens were also completely thawed (I was checking each hole). They kept us on temps the entire round until hole 18 when the maintenance guy drove past on the fairway and switched the pin off the temp. It was past noon and over 45 degrees at this point. Beside the conditions being worse than any municipal courses in the same area.. the fact they refuse to switch off temps appropriately is just ridiculous and fits the consistent reputation Oki courses have built over the past years. Over priced.. under kept.. overrated.

Pretty nice course. But heavy play means the tee boxes, fairways, and greens can be sketchy in places. Really nice bar and restaurant. One hole (13?) is impossible, blind shot to the landing area, then a blind shot to the green.

Havent been here in a long time. But went up for a practice session and forgot how difficult of a range to see the ball it is. Not knocking it just hard to see anywhere this time of year with 90% of our driving ranges facing south

Nice course, great views from a couple holes. There is a blind hole that has a steep gradient to the green that is really hard. Challenging course. Great service from the staff here, very friendly. Only real complaint is the condition of some fairways, they do seem to be working on growing the grass but there are some bare spots. Sand is not as nice as most of the other Oki courses.

Review №29

I played here a few days ago and couldn’t be more disappointed. This was my first time playing the course and it was in extremely bad shape. In some cases we were hitting directly off dirt from the fairway. In addition to many other things, the bunkers have hardly any sand in them and have huge gravel pieces that can mess up your clubs. I really expected more from this course and given the price of the greens fees I felt really bad for coming here. Horrible value for the money! :(

Ive played this course 4 to 5 times a year. Played today and was shocked at the condition of the course. Driving range hadnt been mowed in weeks and range balls were old and shoddy. The course was in horrible condition Severely under watered. There was burned out hard pan in the fairways and on the edges of the greens. No sign that they were seeding or doing anything to bring there bare patches back.Given the rates they charge this is a horrible value proposition. The service was questionable. I had to explain to the young woman in the pro shop how my previously puchases package worked. She had to read through some paperwork to determine I was correct that I was eligible to use prepaid round. She had to go outside to the ball machine to retrieve tokens. It took about 10 minutes at the turn to simply pickup and pay for sandwiches we had called in and ordered. The menu and bar offerings at the restaurant were dated post round.Oki course and standards are in continual decline. I understand that its a tough time to get good staff and hit your numbers, but I really think theres some poor management showing.

I had an abysmal experience here. Poorly maintained in the summer (bare patches on the fairway), players behind us hit into us, the marshal was extremely rude (thinking we were playing slow) until he figured out what our start time was (you would think he would check that before confronting us, but this guy was a complete dunce). Cant express how disappointed I am - we paired with another group in the first place, and then stopped by this fool multiple times despite playing a 4 hour pace. Definitely not worth the money to play here, wont be back. This is by far the worst of the Oki courses - avoid it unless steeply discounted.

Review №46

Yes, the hot summer has been tough on golf courses, but it has made conditions at Oki Redmond Ridge a real DISASTER.Fairways are burned out, and in large areas grass is non-existent. Areas of turf are dead and lifting and twisting on edges of the fairways because they are absolutely bone dry. On many of the tee boxes, there are only tiny areas with grass still growing. And take a hammer to pound your tee into the ground! The bunkers are a mess. No sand, just dirt and rocks. The greens are in a little bit better shape, but expect a well placed shot to roll much further than it should when anywhere else you would fully expect it to hold. The greens are pretty shaggy, and if you play in the afternoon, the poa blooms will move your putt offline, which is frustrating. All in all, you can find a lot better places to play golf right now. I guess the new ownership doesnt believe in irrigation, which is too bad because Redmond Ridge used to be much better maintained and its a good and challenging track. Its definitely getting seedy. On the plus side, the Pro Shop and course employees are fabulous! Incredibly helpful and nice.

St
Review №66

The course layout is not bad, but it usually plays shorter than the scorecard. The condition is not bad, but it was horrible when aerated and no notice of aeration. The biggest issue is a mean marshall who acts like a bad police, and says inappropriate words like: you get what you pay for!. The other marshall is nice and friendly. If you pay full price, this course is not worth it. If you play twilight, you get bad treatment. So I will not play there anymore, and would not recommend it to anyone.
