I love it here and look forward to coming back soon...No complaints here, we enjoyed every session and felt welcomed. They take great precaution and safety measures to make sure every one is safe and healthy.
Warm, friendly teachers. Meryl and the team are always very accommodating. Their techniques get the kids excited about being in the water, which is often half the battle. The small class sizes make it great for learning. Very clean, and welcoming atmosphere. We love it there!
Love the staff and atmosphere! My son looks forward to class each week! Safety protocols during these unprecedented times are on point!
During my childs lesson I can see that they are constantly cleaning cubbies, bathrooms, etc.
Very attentive staff and clean learning environment. I am seeing a 100% progress with my little guy learning to swim. Thank you to the Goldfish staff!
We love Goldfish! We have been here since it opened, about 2 years ago. Ive watched my children grow and progress at a great pace. All the staff, front desk and instructors have been wonderful. Two fins up!
Our sons love it here. Clean facility and friendly staff!
My son is 2.5yo and moved to Mini 3 a few months ago. He loves being in the pool but going alone without us can be scary sometimes and the Goldfish instructors, especially Colleen and Kevin, are so patient and kind. We’ve had a few instances where he has melted down after 20min of class and the instructors have kept him calm and been so professional about the situation. It’s tough right now as he doesn’t always enjoy class but we will keep coming and trying until he becomes a fish out of water! :)
We pulled both our children from their private and semi-private classes due to a lack of progression. Our children became more comfortable with being in the water due to their classes here but they NEVER LEARNED how to swim. After 8+ months there was very little, if anything, to show for our time and money as the same lessons/exercises were administered week after week for months on end. We only wish we had noticed this sooner before investing as much time and money as we did. Our children loved the water, their instructor, the facility (which is the cleanest in the area), and as difficult as it was to say goodbye, it was in our best interest to go elsewhere to get the proper swim education.
***UPDATE***They have refunded our money for the classes our daughter did not take, which we certainly appreciate. But I would like to address the managers response in regards to the fact that there are lifeguards, deck supervisors, and instructors on deck. There are indeed, however on this day the lifeguard didnt even notice, and the deck supervisor was on the other side of the pool. That said, as I stated in my review, it was only seconds before the instructor reached our daughter. Thank God! All turned out ok!!!We brought our 2.5yo (at the time) daughter for Sunday morning swim lessons. The facility is visually appealing, very clean, and the staff friendly. However, our daughter had a different instructor almost every week, which was a little disappointing. But we were able to look past it, because she enjoyed going. She made little progress during the months she attended, but I understand (with the younger ones) its more about getting them comfortable being in the water. Anyway, a very scary incident took place the last time we attended. Our daughter had yet another instructor (whom was clearly young and new), and while she was working with one of the other students, our LO jumped in the pool, instantly sinking. Everyone on the deck started yelling and the instructor immediately swam over and retrieved her. Aside from coughing up some water and being shaken, thank God she was ok. My husband and I were so rattled that we left right away, but I called the following day. Originally I spoke with one of the front desk girls, who had the manager call me back. The manager was apologetic and agreed this should NEVER happen. We had only attended one class that month (3 to go), plus 2 make ups. Since payment is deducted automatically, and our card had been charged, so I asked for a refund. We obviously got our lines crossed, because I expected a credit to our card. However, when I called back some time later asking why our card had not been refunded, the girl at the front desk told me that we had a credit to our account so if and when we returned, we could use that towards her lessons. ??? Being in management myself, this is unacceptable. Our daughter could have drowned!!! And sadly, based on other reviews, this is NOT the first time something like this had happened. This is very unfortunate because as I stated above, the building is very nice, maintained well, clean etc. But not worth risking your child’s life!
We brought our then 29-month old toddler here for a trial class back in November. She enjoyed it, but we could see it was too soon, as she was choosing to do her own thing instead of following the instructor. It was recommended that we do another trial a few months down the road. Right away I liked that they did not pressure us, and were willing to give us another trial class. My daughter is now 3 years old and we went back this week for the trial. This time, she didnt want to participate and was happy just watching the other 2 girls in her class. She finally wanted to go in when the class was over and the other girls had left... then she was all for it and was upset to find out the that lesson was over, lol. I guess management saw her sourpuss face as I took her away from the pool, because someone named Meryl came over to speak to us. She was very nice and suggested that we come to family swim so that she can get used to the facility, as that might help. She was very accommodating with explaining the various family swim times, and even gave her a small prize/ toy. I know that in the end, they hope to gain a customer, but she didnt have to be that nice, and she was. The facility is clean, bright, and very fun-looking. Anyone Ive met at the counter or over the phone has always been pleasant. We will be there next week for family swim and go from there. Thank you!
Struggling a bit with what my daughter is actually learning in 1/2hr per week. She’s 3 and loves the water- but haven’t seen any real progression. It’s a week between classes - and she hasn’t done anything new or improved in 6 months. Think we’re going to do Silton on Y for an intense class.
Took my son for his trial class today, he loved it. Then tried to join, went through the whole enrollment process then was told at the end I could not pay cash. If I was paying cash it would have to be 3months up front. My son is 4 months old, there’s no way to say if a baby would be able to commit to that long. Was also told if we start August 12th the end day would be sept 2nd, but I would be paying for a month, that is only 3 classes. Very disappointed in this place, had high hopes...
We love James (one of the baby instructors) our baby is learning! Facility is immaculate. We love it there.
The staff is the best!! Mae always greats us with a smile, Sean is great with the kids, and our swim instructor Emily is the BEST!!!
Never again. As a small business owner myself I pray to god they learned there lesson today. After 2 make up lessons they completely screwed up. 1 being today. They put my daughter with a boy who had no idea/ OR EXP as a swim instructor because of their scheduling mistake. Reading the booklet on the sidelines, there was hardly any swimming. NO CLUE. I should have trusted my instincts as she was in the water with him not knowing what to do. After 15 minutes, he proceeded to leave my 6 year old in the water to go to the bathroom without having another instructor jump in the pool with my daughter. As she is looking around, I ran inside the pool area and pulled her out. As another instructor caught on she jumped over 2 lanes..... What a disaster. Although they apologized over and over about how this should not have happend. I can not believe this happend. I will not be recommending anyone to this school. The 1st make up lesson they never put her in the book and we walked out. Leaving my child ALONE in a pool, it was unbelievable. The quality and lessons have diminished since this school has opened. What they need to do is run the cameras back and zoom in on my daughters lane last night and have a serious meeting with their staff on the importance of safety when it comes to our children.
The staff is always so friendly and amazing with the kids.
Fun and vibrant workplace. I absolutely love it!
Great place for a party!
Very clean and sanitary but pricey!!
