I went to a sale up in Short Hills a few months ago and I kept meaning to write and express how amazed I was at the amount and quality of the art...amazing how quickly time slips away but thats another discussion. Sometimes its junk at these types of sales, but this was high test stuff. I would expect to have to contact an auction house or high end gallery to find stuff like this for sale. Really impressed and hope to find more sales run by these folks!

AVOID. Very Unprofessional, my experience was horrific. I had a scheduled appointment which i had to wait a MONTH for. Took off work because there availability is so stingy. Then for no reason there fine art appraiser leaves for the day. No call, no notice. Which ever smug incompetent person was on the phone tried to tell me i should have called a day prior LOL just laughable. Extremely unprofessional. I urge you to avoid these incompetent, insubordinate, novices.

Ive been going to CTPeters sales for decades. They are organized and well run, prices are fair and clearly marked. I feel their sales are above the average estate sale which is really a renamed garage sale. Items are many times a ntique or collectible - not just a dime store figurine, you can also find sets of china, beautiful furniture or jewelry for reasonable prices-almost anything actually. There is a system to entry: take a number and wait you will be let in when the doors open - fine with me as some of those 1st to the door resellers/collectors can get pushy! Ive met the staff at the sales and all were professional and courteous even when I was a younger person and a new face. Not everyone takes a 20 year old seriously when they are shopping for jewelry etc at these sales, the CTPeters staff was always smiling and friendly. All in all I have to say I keep searching out their sales and am never disappointed!!
