Came here for the annual WWII reenactment. Once in a life time experience. This airport itself is very nice as well. It has air museum and air shows. I fly in from Savannah GA to attend the WWII reenactment. But Ill definitely come more often if I lives nearby.

Saw the president in person during his visit to Pennsylvania, it was Awesome.

Was here for the WW2 weekend. Great show! The only problem is the crowd management could be better. We waited in line too long, both arriving and leaving.

Awesome time at the airshow! A friend and I flew his 140 in and had a great time. Saw several reenactments and learned a ton. Very comprehensive show. Will be going again next for sure!

It was nice. Its a small airport that has a lot of historical aircraft. They put on a reenactment for World War II. Every year in the first weekend of June.

A wonderful museum that shows not only the different aircraft of the WWII era but also stores some other incredible finds, including a one of only four P-61B Black Widows left in the world.

WWII Weekend was amazing! So many awesome things to see! My only suggestion would be to put bleachers over where the reenactment takes place to give the spectators a better chance to see. It is hard to look over everyones heads to get a good view.

Lots to see, do & learn! The renactments are amazing, the battles are really cool & learning about the history of everything is awesome...Unfortunately youre exposed to all of the elements & you risk, sunburn, heartstroke, & dehydration. Be careful & drink a lot of water, wear sunblock, & protect yourself.

Our friends invited my girlfriend and I to the reading air show for WWII reenactment weekend as they were taking part. We had a lot of fun walking around seeing all of the old planes and vehicles. Nearly everyone was dressed up in attire from that era. The people in the village buildings were very nice and talkative.

Love of all aircraft old or newer. In the air or on the ground. The wonder of flying in any aircraft is always a great experience. Have been in aircraft low and slow, high and fast (above Mach one and pulling 6 gs). Been in rotor craft of several types and different types of commercial aircraft. Great thrill rides ever.

I came here just for the museum, was impressed by the amount of planes. The guide was very knowledgeable and took his time explaining all the planes, I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in aviation.

This is a truly cool place to go and see. I have been here a few times just to see the museum and almost every year for WWII weekend. WWII weekend is a absolutely incredible weekend and is a good way to step into the early 1940s. I am glad that this event has grown to what it is and it is great to see the event to continue to grow.

This place was awesome!!

I went here for the world war 2 air show. This venue was completely understaffed, the lines were ridiculous. The bathroom line was a half hour, the food line was an hour and change, the bus line to go back was 3 hours.25 bucks for one meal consisting of a hot sandwich fries and a bottle of water.The flea market vendors were cheap garbage. They were all miserable and nobody wanted to talk to you.Bring at least 300 in cash per person and about 2 grand if you want to fly in a plane. Bring shade, and a sitting chair and a pack mule to carry it all.Now for the good news. The volunteers, the singers, the actors and cosplayers were a lot of fun, friendly and had a lot of great historical information. Certainly not museum quality, but awesome none the less. This could be a great time if the planners could handle the massive amounts of people flocking to this event.

It was absolutely spectacular and a real treat. So much so that people even from from different states like Texas, Connecticut, Iowa, and etc came to get the experience. A place where there is authentic WW2 era military and civilian attire, equipment, and vehicles. Also, you are able to buy some of the stuff, and there are bunch of food trucks/ stands. Just one more thing, its the only museum on the east coast, perhaps in the whole U.S.

It is a small museum. That being said it is one of the best. The first weekend in June is the WW II weekend. Three days of air show, reenactment and everything 1940s. A must see. Plus the museum is rebuilding a P 61 Black Widow.

To see WWII planes and equipment in working condition is a great experience. Few of the planes from that period are still fly able. Also a Man that was a Navigator on a B 24 sat near me and got to talk to him, he was 98.

We brought my son to the WW11 weekend, and WOW was it AMAZING! There was so much to see....tons of airplanes, tons of tanks, .... And other awesome stuff too! We had amazing day, and will definitely be back!

For two adults it was $16. Way worth it. Our tour guide, Dave, was informative, funny, and very personable. And they have a museum cat! Interesting and large collection of all kinds of flight crafts.

WW2 weekend was nice. Bus aspect could have been better. Parked in lot #6 and had to wait a while, with many other people, for a bus. The lot was opened without notice to the buses.

WOW! THIS PLACE IS LIKE DISNEY WORLD AS FAR AS RE-ENACTMENT AND AIRSHOWS GO! I love coming here every year. They have so much here to see and experience such as planes, encampments, tanks,guns, french village display with skirmish battle, airshows, vehicle parades, veterans, home front display with home theater setup. I am always learning something new. This is a walking, living museumof WWII. If you love history and are intrigued by anything WWII related this is the place to go. Yes it does get crowded and Saturday is always the busiest but you wont be disappointed with what they have to offer. You must have patience here because of how crowded it gets plus it is usually hot here. If you have a short fuse or get annoyed real easily then you may want to skip this. PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE!

If you like WWII stuff this is the place to go for WWII weekend. It is amazing on what is there and what you see. I recommend this for all ages to see.

Ive visited ther MAAM both during and not during the WWII show.Focus is mostly on the WWII show. Ive been to several WWII shows, but for the PA/Northeast area its VERY hard to beat!40s era shows! Andrew Sisters, Abbot & Costello, Big Band and MORE ... then all the VIP guests signing books and memorabilia! Then the encampments (US, Russia, China, Britain and Germany). The aircraft (Trainers, Fighters, Bombers, Transports).I hear people complain about the entry price ... but that price gets you FREE parking, FREE transportation to the show, ALL the displays and shows they offer!!!!! There are so many things to look at, people to meet, shows to watch! I think its a great value!The one thing I didnt like and probably not under control of the show, FOOD PRICES! Some vendors did have reasonable prices, some NOT! I of course expect some higher prices, what else is new, but some meals were very high priced, but I guess its up to buyer to pay it or not ... still, it rubs me wrong its even offered at the higher prices.Theres LOTS to check out if you were never there!

Im a Tour Guide at MAAM, so my views are no doubt biased. Quite a collect of aircraft and artifacts. Educational and interesting Tour Guides, not to mention how handsome they are!Kidding aside, a unique museum in that there are no ropes or barriers - visitors walk around and under the aircraft.

Best air show bring lots of sunblock

World War II weekend has gone downhill. This year I had to park 4 miles away and wait for a shuttle bus. Its faster to walk there than wait for the bus. What I cant understand is why they have cops blocking off a whole road for reenactors and handicapped people. I was able to park in that area every other time I went.

Our Boy Scout troop goes every year has not disappointed us yet. Large crowds are tough to corral for the parking lot return runs...

The Air Show this year is bigger and better than ever. More aircraft on display, more field layouts (tents, gear, vehicles, re-enactors)....looks like a huge tent city. Bigger crowds, too, but the Air Show staff handled everything very well.

Excellent collection of aircraft, plus uniforms, models, and other items. They really make the most of the space they have, plus theres interesting on-site restoration work in progress. Best part was the guided tour. Merlin seemingly knew everything about every piece of the collection and was happy to answer questions. I spent over two hours there and left only because I had an appointment elsewhere. I will visit again the next time Im in the area.

The World Ear 2 weekend is a must to see. It makes you feel like you are back in time.

A great place to spend an afternoon. We love history and learning about the past, and getting to see the planes up close is so wonderful. The staff was so kind and courteous and the tour was really great. Would love to go back during their summer weekend where they put in an air show.

Real flying antique ww2 airplanes, you can get up close to everything.For a few hundred bucks one can fly in them. Thousands of military & home front reenactors camped from all over the world. Lots of ladies 1940s fashions . Vintage& military clothing available in the huge vendor area,so you can participate too.

World War II Weekend is the best! We go every year.

Fantastic airworthy World War 2 Aircraft, interesting reenactors of varying authenticity, curio vendors, food vendors, BUT the Museum apparently charges World War 2 veterans an admission fee. Parking was unpaved and can in the frequent June rains, become an undrivable quagmire. Easy to find from the main highway, however follow signs diligently, or (as a visitor) get lost quickly! ***

AMAZING amount of activity during W W 2 weekend. Food is expensive and have long lines. Poor handicapped facilities.

It was great to watch the aircraft takeoff and walk around to see the various aircraft at the museum.

I flew in to RDG to visit the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum. taxied to the museum after landing parked off to the side of the main hanger doors (no parking fee). I went inside and was greeted by Fred for a tour of the hanger which had many aircraft. Inside most of the aircraft were air worthy and in good condition. Fred gave a fantastic tour and was very knowledgeable of WW2 aircraft and I would recommend visiting to others.

Great place to see World War II history

The WWII airshow was amazing! Visiting all the different nations represented is a great walk through history. The passion of the actors and knowledge by the owners of the equipment displayed made it a very enjoyable day!

A great time for anybody interested in war history or aviation. Engaging re enactors, air shows, demonstrations, live music, and vendors. Just make sure to wear comfy walking shoes and bring some water, the venue is an actual airfield so there is a lot of ground to cover and the heat can be stifling at times. Still a great fun for the whole family.
