Such a fun place for kids! I have always loved seeing all the cartoon characters!! It is cool in the summer, but fantastically amazing around Christmas time! They light up everything with lights and play Christmas music. So magical! Definitely bring your camera!

The metal slides may be hot. The food is all pretty much junk food. The place is run down. but your kids will have a great time. They will run around being surprised by each character they know and love being part of the story. The train is short but a perfect amount of time for toddlers whos minds need constant newness. Also they will enjoy the tunes and dance to them. The bathrooms are cool for the hot days. Employees are very kind.

Highly recommend this park to everyone, fun for all ages. I had my doubts that my older teen children would not have been interested, however, we all had a great time is beautiful, wonderful experience. My daughter at age 17 says shes jealous of South Dakota over Colorado because of this park!! The Ice cream shop inside was very reasonably priced a nice treat, plenty of shade, benches to rest on, places for the children to play, friendly staff, and lovely gift shop. Definitely a place to make memories!!!

Pretty awesome free park ! There is a train and a carousel (which by the way was the fastest I have ever been on) those are 2 dollars each to ride per person. The park itself is large and had lots of themed play areas. Highly recommend it if you have littles that need to run around.

This is a really fun place to spend with the kids for free! Of course donations are accepted. The carousel is wonderful and housed in its own building.

Not all of the Employees in carousel area were wearing a mask. THEY were NOT welcoming, in fact we had to ask if they were giving rides- they said ya in a apathetic voice like giving the kids a ride was a waste of time and when our kids got on the ride the female employee went and laid against the ride as though she was exhausted. After the ride, the female again without a mask and without gloves she slapped a paper towel on the ride as though she didnt care about the cleanliness and was jus putting in her time. We will not be returning to this location. Sad that employees of a family fun location did not have the necessary people skills and upbeat/positive attitude like they should..

We took our granddaughter and had so much fun, great place for the young and young at heart. She had so much fun running from one storybook setting to the next, playing and exploring. It is free and they request no outside food or drink, however, they do have concessions and there are picnic tables outside of the play area.

We go to storybook island every year for Halloween. The safe trick or treating was fun as always. There was alot less people this year so the kids actually had space to run around and enjoy the scenery. Staff and volunteers were pleasant as always!

It was cool to see but everything had warning signs that Wasps or a wasp hive. And the signs werent bold enough to see. I didnt see it intel my family pointed it out. Just putting up the signs sayung Wasps be careful felt kinda lazy. Can they actually do something about it. Also some of the characters need to be repainted. It looked like a run down amusement park. But it is a cool place.

Storybook Island has been around since I was a child, which was a very long time ago. Its a delight for parents of small children because you can let them run full speed from one to another installation as you stroll behind because they stop at each to slide or swing or do whatever activity it entails before they take off for the next. The park constantly updates with new installations, so there are things I remember from my childhood, but others that are contemporary. A bonus is the train that runs through the park - really a motorized vehicle (think lawn mower type thing) that pulls a bunch of cars, all of which are painted to look like train cars. Its cheap to buy the tokens for your kids to ride, but because out kid was train mad when he was young, wed buy $5 worth and let him ride over and over till he was bored. It was cheaper that way, and made for a cheap date and kept him very happy. It probably costs more now, but its still a great value for the money.

This was the most amazing place to bring back our own childhood memories. I played a game with my 20+ year old daughters to see which of us knew the most stories that were represented.Children where having fun everywhere from digging in the sandbox, riding on the carousel, to riding the train. The park is great for getting kids into story telling as they ask about snow whites house to who is the rabbit? (Oh the rabbit is thumper or maybe from little brother movie). If you get a chance to visit Storybook land, do it.

I visited during the $3 winter Christmas light showcase. It is a super cute place that is well worth its price. I cant complain about anything other than the parking, which is pretty negligible. Some paths lead to dead ends and kids cant play on the equipment during the winter because of the beautiful lights. Nice place to go after a date during the winter!

Went during the time when the Christmas lights were up. The wait to get in was probably 10-15 minutes as the line was very long. Once we got in the park the lights were very pretty. Its a pretty quick trip through the whole area but it was fun for the cost. Only downside is that the way it is set up forces everyone through the gift shop. I understand it is good for business, but it was very busy in there and frustrating that there wasnt a way to go around to leave.

What a wonderful and fun place for kids!! There was so much to see and do. Our kids enjoyed the train ride and had fun seeing so many of their favorite Disney characters. For us (mom and dad) it was like stepping back in time to when we were kids. Snow White and the Seven Dwarves... The Wizard of Oz... Winnie the Pooh with Piglet, Eyore and friends...Raggedy Ann and Andy with their cute cottage to walk through, which was adorable... An actual pirate ship from Peter Pan... It is free to get in to Storybook Island!!

I donate $10 every saturday when I take my son here, in addition to paying for the carousel and usually a small toy in the gift shop. Today I pay the $2 for my son to play in the bounce house and he wants to switch to the monster truck one but he cant because, you dont want to clean two of them Lazy. Son was also only allowed 4 minutes and there was zero line. But it was a nice place while it lasted.
