Honestly, they did a great job of renovating my old junior high into a great venue for performances. You can even get a balcony seat if you want to be away from the crowd. Ive been here so many times and its great. I did fall asleep during the Christmas program quite a few times. Silent night put me into a trance.

I recently went here for the first time and the place is great. It had a very nice cozy atmosphere and has recently been fully renovated and it all looks and feels great. The show I saw was from Street Beat and they were great. They even allowed everyone to bring in their drinks and snacks during the show!

Seats are comfortable and can see the stage very nicely from every angle. Place isnt hard to find. The ladies bathroom doesnt have feminine hygiene receptacles.

The Performing Arts Center of Rapid City is a wonderful theatre. I always enjoy whatever show is being put on there, and it has easy access for all ages and the theatre is always very tidy and clean

I really like the PAC; I typically go there for symphony events, but have also been to a few plays. Its beautiful, and many great performances can be seen there throughout the year. I will say its a little strange to drink a beer in the same room where I once ate cafeteria lunch 25 years ago. Be advised that the stage theater area is found towards the south rear entrance of the building on the third floor, but with anything in the auditorium, theres a large parking lot to the north of the building.

Great historic venue. The theatre has been upgraded nicely. Seen several shows here, and theres not a bad seat in the house. Wooden seats can get uncomfortable after a while.
