Played on AUG 28, Terrific course, excellent condition. First hole is a blind drive downhill. White tees 6236/127, good amount of terrain and a few blind second shots.Women play Red tees 5038/122. Bar/grill has a great variety of beers/drinks and sandwiches, all staff great. Reasonable greens fees. Black Hills to the West, worth a scenic drive.

Everyone was very accommodating. I would like to try the course when it is not so windy but beautiful, tough course.

Visually stunning, yet very hard to play first time around. Specially asked to play with a local was told no problems. Showed up to play but not on tee sheet. Very disappointing! Was told I could get out in 45 minutes with another twosome. Call to the tee 30 minutes later as a single. Again disappointing.I marshal at my home course so I would chalk this up too a none caring staff or members with the I don’t want to play someone they don’t know. Would not play again!

Such a fun golf course; its challenging and beautiful! The clubhouse has been remodeled a bit and its great. We love playing this course and the friendly staff makes it even better.

Greens are so difficult they arent fun. Everything else is top notch. Again, greens not so much strategic as simply comical. Laugh as your putt finds the sand or forest ob

Have utilized their Take-out several times in past two months. Service is prompt. Food is very good. Staff is courteous and appreciate their good practice of current safety protocols. Good to have them conveniently close to our Countryside Neighborhood.

Awesome course, super friendly staff, only $50ish for 18/cart, definitely worth playing.

Stopped for dinner and drinks with friends and had a great time. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

Just tried the Grills Delivery Order/Service after receiving a flyer in the mail.Was pleasantly suprised at the Menu and service. We called at a busy time and said it about an hour wait. Our food arrived well before an hour was up... piping HOT and looking Delicious!!! Sorry no pictures as it was AWESOME and very inviting!!! Patty Melts were AWESOME and my Reuben was OUTSTANDING!!! Fries were Delish too.

They have the best Reuben sandwich in Rapid City!!! Prices are very fair and servings are huge! Service is great!!

Red rock golf club is probably the best course in SD. Actually its the #1 public course. People on vacation make a point to golf there. Its a challenging course but the staff is professional and friendly. A must see and worth golfing there.

Tough but nice course.

Some local knowledge is required here as there are some blind shots. Having said that, this course is definitely worth a play if you are ever in the Rapid City area.

Really enjoy this course in rapid..challenging holes and fast greens.. rained on us and clubhouse issued rain check .. cant wait till play back 9 next spring..highly recommended

Nice course. The staff was friendly and professional.A sporty layout that is enjoyable to play for all skill levels.Our group was a mix of single digit to 25 handicap players and the whole group had a blast.

We went for a bachelor party and had a 5-some. The course was very accommodating for our party. The course was in really great shape for the time of year and the greens were rolling pretty true! Great time and great experience. Would recommend to anyone looking to golf in the Black Hills!!

Excellent course. Well groomed fairways and super smooth greens. Last two holes are beautiful. Undulating greens. Requires accurate and consistent tee shots. Blue/black tees are ideal for a 5-8 handicap.

Staff was incredible even running a cart to me as I walked down to the range. The course was in fantastic shape and thankfully they do have GPS in the carts. The range and practice area are also top notch. If I lived in Rapid City, this would be my home course without hesitation!

Atmosphere, most of the staff, and new updates are great, but the food... ordered baseball cut sirloin cooked medium rare with mashed potatoes and Texas toast. Steak was medium well to well done, mashed potatoes came from a packet you can cook in the microwave for about a dollar, and Texas toast didn’t come out at first (just a piece of white bread thrown in the toaster, no butter or anything). Disappointing, especially for $14. Sent that back and ordered a wrap with sweet potato fries, which was amazing. Will definitelt be back but only for a sandwich or salad, probably not cooked meat.

Did not golf here but the Prime Rib was great dinner dish.

Well portioned, timely and good flavor. Prices are about average compared to most fast casual restaurants. More bar than restaurant. Nice interior, mostly wood decor with old school relics here and there. Several tv screens tuned to various sports casts. Can get crowded on summer weekends. Generally friendly folks. Try the club sandwich.

Staff was amazing. However the course was a mess. They need to have more signage to let people where to go to get to the next tee. I got lost several times. FYI, bring lots of golf balls. The course tends to eat them. I hit several shots down the middle, but were blind and the ball was no where to be found. Met some great people along the way.

Gorgeous course and well kept.

Better bring your A-game. Fairways are tight and danger everywhere. GPS in the carts, but need a serious upgrade. The glare made it almost impossible to read and was intrusive in the field of vision to drive the cart. One positive is that when we made the turn and reported we never saw a bev cart, the pro bought us a round for the back. That was very nice.

Just stopped in to eat at The Rock for the lunch special, the fish tacos were delicious and the staff was very friendly. Cant beat the price for $6!

Course has a lot of character through the hills and was in great shape. Quite a few blind shots that made things interesting. Reminds me a little of a desert mountain course in AZ. Played this course in 2011.

Used the driving range, first time hitting balls in over a year. Really enjoyed the experience.
