More expensive than other diners for the quality of food. Table was wiped twice and still dirty. Order was entered wrong so we received only half our food at first. This was of course fixed soon after. This was our first visit here, hopefully they were just having an off day.

Service was decent. Good flavorful foods. Nice atmosphere.

This place continuously gets worse every time I order from them. And they never seem to get the order right!!! That roastbeef has been frozen with frost damage and shouldnt even be served!!! Oh and I ordered Turkey and got sent Roast beef. Kinda sad they keep getting worse

First time at the Cambell Cafe, great food prepared quickly did not have to wait it was hot...I love hot food. So affordable and our waitress was so kind and thoughtful. This is our new favorite restaurant!!! Best hometown diner in Rapid.

It took 30 minutes to get our order taken by the staff. The food is ok but so slow. The waitress could not remember a thing to save her life.

The initial service was super fast. We had our drinks within 2 minutes of walking in the door and got our food about 5 minutes after we ordered. The food was good, not amazing but better than a lot of small diners Ive visited.I really only have 2 complaints. For one, I ordered coffee and even though my cup sat mostly empty throughout my entire meal, the waitress didnt stop to refill it until about 5 minutes before we left. My other complaint is the front door. It slams with a loud bang every time someone walks in. I read other reviews before I went and people mentioned it years ago but theyve done nothing to fix it.

Campbell street cafe is a great place for having good old fashion dinner meals. Our waitress was fast and curious. The food was delicious and right in our price range. Well be going back for sure.

Decided to try this on a whim, to have something new. Was really good actually. Had a French dip, nice slices of beef, fresh Au Jus.

Biscuits and gravy were amazing. Everything was made as ordered, zero complaints other than bathrooms were single use only. But you aint going for the restrooms your coming for the food! I WILL be back.

Dont go after church hours unless you want to wrestle with the regulars for a booth. But the prices just cant be beat.I love the redneck hash browns. You can get a reasonably sized meal, like an egg and some toast, if you want. You dont have to over calorie yourself here if youre going to breakfast with your friends.The booths give a little privacy, so Ive gone here to have intimate but serious conversation.Coffee is good.The service is pretty quick and theyve never made a mistake with my order.The have sourdough bread that makes great toast.This place is comfortable and the staff is nice. Because of this, I felt like Ive made real memories here. Its a part of Rapid City that I will take with me in my heart when I move away.

After checking out the Cambell St. Cafe about 6 mo. ago, we are definitely repeat visitors! Love the laid back atmosphere, the friendly staff and great food! This reminds us of the cafes that no longer exist. Weve noticed the people who visit there enjoy the same comfort and atmosphere we do!! LOVE Cambell St. Cafe!!!!!

It has been a great place for many years

We came here due to the jeep dealership explaining that it is good home cooking and that is exactly what it is. This place is amazing, I am allergic to shrimp and fish so eating chicken fried steak is out of the question usually. I ate it here and it was amazing plus they dont even sell fish or shrimp. I highly recommend this place if you want home style cooking.

I have been a customer for 15 years. I dine her multiple times a week, for several reasons. The food is always great, the service is always friendly, and it’s always timely, so I can get back to work without stress. I love the home cooked specials, so it doesn’t get boring and monotonous.

The people were extremely nice. But I ordered the Swiss steak and all it was was a chop steak with green peppers onions and a little bit of chopped tomatoes on top of it. And the gravy tasted like it was packaged.

The food was ok. I gotnthe special which was spaghetti and texas toast. Therr was really no sauce for the spaghetti. Mostly ground beef, onions, tomatoes and bell peppers. It was kinda greasy as well. Another person had chili and grilled cheese and was not a big fan of the chili. They said it was kind of bland. Daughter did not care for the chicken nuggets. My son liked the tenders. Everyone loved the fries. If the food was a tad better I would give it another star or if it was a bit cheaper.

For a family who enjoys little diners, we were very unimpressed. The kids meals were okay. The french fries were decent. My husband and I ordered sandwiches, my BLT was dry, no mayo, and the bread was flat and smooshed. My husbands sandwich also had no dressing. We both ordered coffee but when we asked for a second cup we were told it was nearly closing time and they had already dumped the coffee for the day. Unlikely that we will be back.
