Brought my bow in to get a string put on it told me it would take about a week ended up taking a month and a half and charged me over $200 for it. Instead of just putting a string on it like I asked they replaced all the cables my d-ring peep sight ect...I called to check in on progress multiple times and every time The employees were extremely rude. I would definitely not recommend or ever return for their services.

New to archery and walked in with a bow i bought else where. The were quick to help make sure everything was set up right and sent me to the range and they made the adjustments no issues. Prices were not outrageous like most places I’ve been to. Super friendly staff definitely think I found my archery shop.

Out-of-state archery antelope hunter. I pull in after driving 100 miles. They repair my peep sight Johnny on the spot. I make it back and still get a few hours of a hunt. Professionals professionals, professionals with a bedside manner. Saved my hunt. And I would have paid them three times what I did. Hunters taking care of hunters. Well played Gentleman.

They have a good selection of bows to try out if you are looking. Also they do not try high pressure sale tactics. I went there several days in a row to shoot before buying a bow. Each time i went in they would set the bow to the draw length and pull weight I wanted and let me be to shoot it as long as i wanted. Best part of it was if i got the bow dialed in, but i was getting tired or just running short on time i could give it back and they would put my name on it and hold it for the next day. You dont get that kind of service anymore. Also it seems that everyone that works there hunts. So if your looking for good real world advice on equipment just ask. Also if you want to try somthing just ask.

Top notch! Got into bow hunting, and did what most people do. Went to a big box store and picked up a recommended bow for my budget. After having the box store set the bow up, I kept having issues. Brought it to BH Archery... they didn’t harass me, instead helped me understand that it wasn’t my fault, and didn’t blame the box store. They simply helped me by making adjustments, and even gave me some pointers in their indoor range. Was shooting x’es in a matter of minutes! Hindsight’s 20/20, and I wish I would’ve come here first. Regardless, I’m here from now on. Guaranteed customer for life.Give this place a solid look. Amazing customer service, amazing facilities, amazing experience.

Its a place to shoot indoors.. thats about it. Upon walking in, I had to set my things down and stand at the front counter for a bit just to be greeted. After shooting for a bit and robin-hooding an arrow, I asked if they had that same arrow or something comparable. The guy behind the counter looked up from his phone long enough to say nope. Went back to shooting for a bit and walked back up to the counter. Again, took a while for them to look up from their phones to acknowledge me.. And my question was answered with another one word response, nope. After that, I packed up and left.I recently moved to Rapid and was hoping to find a fun place to shoot. I did not find it in Black Hills Archery. Luckily I worked at an archery shop in MN for three years and can service my bow myself. Wont be going back there.. if there was an option for 0 stars, I would give them that.

I have been going to Black Hills Archery for 14 years now. They have worked with me on various compound and traditional set-ups and even helped me when I built my own self bow. They have also shared more advice, helpful hints, and general knowledge than I could ever get out of a book.I agree with the other post. Their customer service is top notch. If you have a problem, go talk to them and they will make it right.

These guys are the greatest. I went in thinking about buying a 1500 bow and walked out with a much cheeper one that fit me and my shooting experience better. Theyre not just about making a dollar, but about making customers that will return and enjoy the sport. Great folks had me set up and shooting my new bow in less than an hour with half dozen quality arrows.

Went in with hopes of buying a Mathews halon, the girl was very nice, adjusted the draw length and I shot it a dozen times or so. After I got done shooting I was looking around at different sites and rests I could pair it with, the inventory is not well organized and displays very poorly. My friend was with me, getting an arrow refletched, I believe he was talking to possibly the owner? When they got done talking the owner told us to take care and have a nice day, assuming we were done there, he didnt acknowledge me or try to help. So, we left, and they lost out on probably an $1800 sale.

Best Archery Pro shop around... My family and I have been dealing with AL Kraus for over 6 years and couldnt be happier..If anyone would ever have an issue needs to go back and have it addressed,they will make it right!AL has successfully coached my daughter with her indoor and outdoor target archery . She has won national competitions for both.. I couldnt imagine having any other place work on our bows..To see any bad reviews about BHA makes me believe people are ignorant about what needs to be done to their equipment or are just naturally unhappy people..

Poor service and they dont know what they are doing, I took my bow in with a string and asked to make cables and they made the cables but put the string on upside down and the people at Running or Cabelas count not fix my bow so it shoots really bad and really high (could not be sighted in) also when I went to pick it up they lied and told me they need to adjust it to the kind of arrow rest I would be using (I didnt have one) but he didnt need to adjust anything all they did was put a D loop string to the level of the arrow rest, they did not have to do any of that, I could have put an arrow rest on it myself and a D loop but they would rather lie and say it needs to be adjusted to the arrow rest just to take my money, so go to Runnings or Cabelas bc this place has no problem of ruining your stuff as soon as you take in in there, if I could give 0 stars that is exactly what I would do

Question does blackhills archery in door range go to 50 yards?

Did the center string on my bow upside down and also put part on that I did not want put on and charged me twice what the price should have been
